Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

At his comment Claire couldn't help but allow a smile to form on her lips. "Ah yes one wouldn't wish to miss that" she said. Maybe Claire just needed to just let her guard down to feel some sort of joy. Certainly to many Cameron was attractive. Claire would certainly be lying to herself if she didn't see that. Between his kindness and just how relaxed he was was perfect. Any person would be lucky to find themselves to be with him. Claire quickly pushed the thoughts embarrassed for even thinking like that. Like Claire could ever see herself that lucky.
Claire didn't even know what she wanted to do with her life. She was well aware she wouldn't be a part of the legion forever. Could she find a life outside of Camp Jupiter or even in New Rome? She wasn't even sure where to begin on that level of planning. She had time to think of something. Though deep down the daughter of Mars wanted happiness. It was something she often couldn't find with her training all the time. She just didn't know how to relax. If she wasn't running messages she was training or keeping herself busy. Few times had she taken time from her day to sit down and relax. A part of her needed a friend or something to show her how.
Her own blue gaze locked onto his after they swept upwards. "I understand that but do I really wanna fight my whole life. I am not sure what I want if I am being honest. Many have dreams and ideas of what they want to use their skills for, my only skill is fighting and being stubborn" she said with a light laugh. Claire hoped to find her path or something but she knew if she wanted that she needed to let go, even if its only a little bit. She needed to open up and stop being so guarded. She couldn't hide because of the fear of getting hurt again.
She gave him a silent nod. She was definitely thinking on his words carefully. "I guess your right.." she said. Of course she had a fear that even with guidance of the fates she would find no one but she would have to wait. Though his comment made her grin, "Who would of thought you could be such a poet" she said giving him a light nudge.

Claire's blue eyes turned suddenly towards someone approaching. Instinctively she prepared to defend herself. She was in no mood to deal with someone to mock her for what had happened. She crossed her arms and glared at him. "Do not touch my dagger" she told him making her way towards him. There was serious look in her eyes. She wasn't so nice when it came to someone taking her dagger. That dagger was a gift from her father.
She quickened her step towards him and yanked the dagger free of the dummy. She pointed it at him but there was enough distance from him, it was more a warning. "I am not fond of people taking my stuff...I am very capable of using it" she said. His comment to her came off as mocking and for someone already emotionally not straight she didn't take it likely. "Don't mock me or talk about the fight..." she stated to him.
She twirled the dagger with ease. "It isn't uneven..." she said to him. She had technically won the fight by default. She glared at him realizing him not being one of the Romans and instead one of the Greeks. This made her a little bit more tense. Especially due to his mocking.

Claire didn't really have a reason to be at the lantern festival like others. Besides she didn't exactly like or trust the Greeks very much so keeping her distance seemed like a good idea. Claire was not the type of person to be emotional or all about her feelings. She hid how she felt about many things behind a wall. It was her way of shutting everything up and just avoiding people asking if she was ok. She was stubborn and sharing emotions and crying was far from something she would do. The feeling of being weak was not something she enjoyed.
Claire looked forward to the rush the race was going to bring. Surely there would be Greeks involved as well. It definitely would be chaotic. Especially with everyone being allowed to use powers and their not being any rules really. She was sure this event would turn out rather bloody. Just hopefully it wouldn't turn deadly that was the last thing they needed.
"Oh I am sure it will be" she said with a laugh at his comment about needing to see it all. Who wouldn't want good seat to the race? It was going to be crazy but sometime craziness was even better than a simple race. Between the use of abilities and the fact some handy kids would be decking out their chariots with all sorts of things. "I might have a few but those are to be kept secret until the race" she told him with a grin. Of course she didn't want to spoil any surprises before the race. It would ruin the fun of it all.

A part of Claire was relieved to find it was Nathan she had bumped into and not someone else. She was in no mood to deal with any conflict in that moment. She still couldn't exactly believe she had come to the party to begin with. For Nathan might have been the first time she had actually come to one of his parties. Claire rarely let her guard down to enjoy something like a party, or she was too busy with her training. However more and more she began thinking of her future after the conversation with Castor. Her emotional wall she had but around herself had seemed to waver.
Even more so when Nathan asked if she was alright. She wasn't shocked that he picked up on it but usually she was a lot better at hiding it from others. Of course she wasn't going to openly admit to not being alright. Claire was stubborn and most people knew that. "I am fine..." she told him. She hoped he would take her word for it. She crossed her arms over her chest calmly.
Claire was very known for forcing a straight face or a smile. She hid behind he front of toughness to avoid looking weak. Maybe it was because she felt the need to prove herself to others. Or maybe it was in her genes, being a daughter of Mars. Very well could have been a mixture of both.

Following her last event for the Olympics Claire was unsure what to think. The blindness had since faded and the cut to her arm healed. She had the moment she could get free of the tent hurried off to just be alone. She found herself on of the benches of the training areas. Her head rested in her hands as her elbows sat on her knees. The whole thing had just shaken her and she didn't want anyone seeing her. She had felt vulnerable and for the first time in a long while she felt scared. It took a lot for Claire to admit it but it was something she couldn't ignore.
She had been outsmarted because of magic. She should have been more careful and more aware as to what was happening. To her she had won by default because the other girl had cheated. Castor insisted it was a real win but it didn't sit right with her. Maybe Claire was being hard on herself but how could she not. Her emotional walls had been stripped away by that vulnerable feeling and the fear. She needed to pull herself together.
She looked up staring at the practice dummy across the field. In a mixture of both anger and frustration she pulled the dagger from her waist. gripping the dagger carefully she threw it at the dummy. She wasn't exactly intending to hit the thing. She exactly missed it by a great deal. The small blade soaring past the dummy and landing somewhere beyond it. She let out a frustrated and annoyed sigh telling herself she would get it in a bit. She couldn't even land a simple dagger in a dummy. What was wrong with her?

Claire couldn't help the stubbornness sometimes. Sometimes it came down to a pride thing. She hated looking weak in front of others, especially around her siblings in the other cohorts. She didn't like being viewed as lesser because she was not as much of a super aggressive and arrogant person. She got put in third cohort because she could actually be nice. Was being nice such a bad thing? She was still a good fighter, she did best Jax a few times. Claire often didn't think about the consequences of injuries until after the fact.
Claire rolled her eyes slight and gave an exaggerated yawn. "Yes save me the boredom of a lecture that I have probably heard far too many times" she said. The amount of times she had been warned about infections were too many to count. Guess that is what happens when one is always up to something. Claire had lost track of how many cuts and injuries she had received since her arrival here. Let alone the amount of infirmary visits she had made.
She could tell he was happy when she had given in to his demand just by the smile on his face. "Yeah, yeah don't remind me.." she said to him. She listened to the comment about her tough girl act and how it didn't bother her but himself. "No I guess not, something about it being your job..:" she said to him. She would move to take a seat on the bench leaning the spear she had against it. The sooner this was done the sooner she could get back to training.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Noah Solberg
Claire was never a person who enjoyed parties. More or less she often found them wastes of time and would rather be spending her time training for the games to come. Though Claire herself had been an emotional wreck as much as she tried to hide it. Somehow she had let friends convince her to attend. So here she was at a party. She tended to wander around silently staying to herself and occasionally speaking if someone addressed her. As the party went on she just kind of tried to avoid being noticed. This was far from her thing. She had a glass of punch in her hand as she wandered.
She was kind of glad as the party died down and slowly people broke off from the others. It kind of gave her a reason to leave now. Setting her now empty glass down she made her way to leave. She was in a bit of a hurry. Though a noise behind her had distracted her from paying attention to whatever was ahead of her. She ended up slamming straight into someone.
Immediately she prepared for some sort of back lash or punch. Claire after a quick moment finally realized who it was she had run right into. Of course after that she felt even worse and immediately went about to apologize. "Sorry I should have been paying attention better" she said. She nervously ran her fingers through her hair with some uncertainly of how they would react. Some kids would immediately turn around and swing or yell. Claire was in no mood for a fight though.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Nathan Russo
Claire knew not everyone was into these events. Of course there was a handful that were very into this like herself. She had signed up for a good majority of the combat events. Claire wasn't exactly fighting for glory but if she won she certainly wouldn't mind. She was trying to prover herself just as good of a fighter that her half brother in first cohort. He often viewed her as less of a fighter but she wasn't. Maybe it was why she chose the most dangerous of things to do. Prove herself capable of even the toughest of challenges.
She listened to his excuse for not doing much. "Guard duty isn't that bad. I myself don't plan to go to the lantern thing" she told him. Claire had better things to do than hang out with a ton of Greeks. Things like training or recovering from the events of the day. She didn't know how he events would play out but she certainly looked forward to the rush it gave her.
Claire felt capable of handling herself in the events to come. Being a daughter of Mars certainly helped. Most weapons she knew the basics of using and she herself was good at adapting. Though for the chariot race that was going to be interesting. She was sure the children of Vulcan were going to have some crazy things rigged up to their chariots. "I am as ready as I will ever be. It is going to be fun" she said. As confident as she came off as she was certainly a tad nervous for it. Not that she would admit to it.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Espen Bekker
Claire looked at him carefully. "No, no I should have been more aware of my surroundings. I guess when your lost in thought that tends to happen" she told him. Claire was usually very good at being aware of her surroundings except for today. She still had no idea where to start as there was a lot going on in her head. The brunette glanced at the water and then back up to him.
She watched him take a seat beside her and took the offered sugar cube. She popped it into her mouth after a quick thank you. She watched him ring out his shirt and lay it out to dry. When he spoke she gave a light shrug. "I'm not frowning but its a mix of things. Had a conversation with Castor...and it gave me a lot to think about" she said to him. Many knew how serious she was when it came to training or just the legion itself. As she had told Castor she was always better with weapons that she was with people.
Though Claire couldn't help but laugh at the comment about the naiads. Her original answer was fairly vague but she was struggling to put her thoughts into words. The very fact that she was troubled or conflicted after a conversation was new to her. "He brought up life after the legion...and relationship...neither of which I have even thought of...my focus has always been the legion." she said. This of course also included training to beat Jax. Though that was almost a given with her.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Cameron Seager
Claire held her tongue for the time being. The sooner this was over the happier she would be. This whole situation was a reminder to why she was so uncertain about the Greeks. They didn't understand their way, nor did they all agree with them. This whole day was supposed to be a celebration, and here he made it sound like it was some kind of joke. She wasn't a fan of people insulting their way of things. If he had trained beside Lupa and served as a Roman he might just understand that. That was the big difference between them and the Greeks. Where Greeks chilled and relaxed, the Romans were serving a sense of Duty. Something that meant a lot to her. She had hardly thought about the future after the legion until after what Castor said to her.
That was probably why she was so irritated and sensitive. Since then her emotions and the walls she had created around herself had cracked. Thoughts wandering her head, thoughts that had never crossed her mind. It usually took a lot to bother Claire but she had already been not herself that just this simple disagreement was about to make her go off. She clenched her jaw slightly, her fists balled at her side.
"Fine but make it quick...its obvious you don't want to do this. Trust me neither do I...the sooner were done the sooner we can be rid of each others sights...deal?" she replied to him. Her tone was stern as she spoke to him. It seemed reasonable enough. But if he so much as made another remark she wasn't going to hesitate to swing.
Claire looked at him despite being unable to see him. "I am fine just tired...I promise it is nothing.." she told him. She could sense his concern. The exhaustion had washed over her like a wave. Mostly a mix between the adrenaline being gone and the fact she was bleeding from the cut down her arm. There was probably a mix of just the emotional exhaustion there too. Most of the day had been a constant motion. It had all suddenly come to a screeching halt after that fight.
Claire let him guide her to the tent. She tried to cover up the vulnerable feeling that was creeping up on her again as they got closer. She tried to hide the pain that she felt from her expression. She took a deep breath as they headed in the tent. Castor seemed to try and reassure her it was a real win. As much as he tried Claire wasn't so sure. She had been defeated by magic of all things. Despite the blindness she should of reacted rather that had sat there stunned like a deer in headlights. There had to been something she could have done. A good warrior didn't need to see to defend themselves. Maybe it was her feeling her pride was hurt or maybe it was the embarrassment aspect of things.
Claire remained silent as he led her into the tent. The pain by now certainly setting in and she grew a little dizzy, though mostly a result of her pain and the blood loss. Claire just wanted this to be over with, one way or another. Though a thought did cross her mind to hopefully avoid William. She and him hadn't exactly gotten along earlier after the chariot race. Certainly he wouldn't be so keen to see her either.

Claire rolled her eyes at his comment. Clearly he was irritated and at the moment she didn't care. "You act like I really meant it. It isn't like I had intended to break your nose..." she muttered rather annoyed. She shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest. She knew he was mad about losing, but certainly he couldn't be a winner every time. As much as he wished that was true. As they headed to the room she didn't say anything else. There was no reason to throw more fuel on the fire.
Claire watched as Noah walked into the room. She gave a light nod of greeting. She hadn't said anything since more or less trying to avoid another argument. Guess that was just a sibling thing, siblings quarreled all the time. Not that Claire wasn't able to handle it. She just assumed he was irritated and angry as is, if she kept poking any further her might explode.
At his comment about the broken nose and how tough children of mars could be she smiled. Maybe it was slightly amusing. Not that she would admit it out loud in front of Jax. That comment from her would certainly cause some other arrogant comment in return. Claire would look between the two with her blue gaze carefully.
Allegiance: Most likely Roman as Claire isn't too fond on Greek
Parentage: Open to anything
Gender: Male
Face claims: Open to change, leaving that for you to decide
Age: 21-23 years
Personality: open to change, but I would definitely see whomever it is be someone sort of an opposite to her. Someone willing to try and get her to relax and stop overworking herself.
Note: For this want ad I was looking for someone to not only be a friend but someone who slowly becomes someone she loves. I want someone to help teach Claire that there is more that just training and fighting all the time. That there is a future after the legion. Also someone who could help Claire break down the defensive walls she has built around herself.
This Character can be either an existing oc or someone you wanna create I am open to anything.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Claire was trembling slightly as he helped her to her feet and out of the ring. Claire was scared more than let on. A part of her was relieved it was Castor helping her. Though she had never let him see her so vulnerable like this. No one ever did really. She didn't like appear weak. Maybe it was pride or maybe it was a sense of protecting the emotional side of herself.
She was relieved when he at least let her sit. Even if it was only for a moment. "I...I just have to catch my breath..." she told him. She knew she needed medical treatment but was exhausted. The adrenaline was gone and the pain set in. Panic had set in the moment she was blinded with vision. Besides she had already gotten a concussion not that it had stopped her from continuing in events. "I...I'll go just had to catch my breath..." she said. her voice was shaky. As much as she was emotionally shaken she refused to shed a tear. She felt weak enough as it was and crying wasn't going to help.
"I know...and we can go now..." she said. She shook her head at his words. To her this wasn't a win even if he had declared it. "I won by default...that is not a win..." she said her tone growing serious as she tried to mask all the emotions inside again. Desperate to lock it all away. She was desperate to put those walls around herself again. The ones that shut people out from how she really felt. Her mind raced as she waited for Castor to help her up so they could continue. How was she supposed to prove herself now? Claire felt so defeated yet she refused to show it, or tried not to.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Castor Boyd
Claire gave him a harsh glare at his comment. He really did just ruin her mood and she was trying her best to hold her tongue. She knew well enough the Greeks didn't understand their ways. They were not used their way of lives. In her opinion they were almost too soft. As if one little tap would hurt them. She shook her head at him refusing to comment. There was no point arguing or wasting her breath. Though if he choice to insult her choices she swore she was going to hit him.
Claire had her own reasoning behind what she said. Claire naturally was a stubborn person even more so when it came to seeming weak in anyway. "A little bit...and yes I walked myself here..." she said bitterly. Her gaze avoided his at all costs. She was really starting to regret coming here. How she had managed to let her friends convince her to come here was beyond her. Though now she certainly wished she hadn't. Or better had waited to be seen by a Roman.
Claire's blue eyes gave him a cold gaze, if looks could kill they certainly would have. She balled her fists tightly trying to avoid the urge to punch him. What good would that do her? She doubted it would knock any reason into him. "No...just be quick and save us both the trouble. It doesn't hurt to breath just a little painful to touch.." she grumbled out. If the mocking and back lash continued by the time he was done there was no guarantee she wasn't going to hit him.
