Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Claire had had a rough go of training that afternoon. She had chosen to take on one of her older half siblings an hour ago and that had caught her off guard cutting her right side just above her hip. She had waved it off as nothing and kept going. Claire was never the type to baby an injury. If it wasn't going to kill her she was fine. This time was not different. Despite the crimson stain in her purple shirt she ignored it. It did pain her occasionally when she made certain movements.
The spar had been over but she chose to keep training. if the little slip up was anything to find improvement in she had to try. Gripped her spear with both hands she swung at one of the training dummies. She pivoted to the left quickly to turn into the swing but pain shot up her side causing a light grimace to escape her. It forced her to start over and this time to push through it.
Beads of sweat gathered on her brow from the extensive work out today. Taking a moment to catch her breath she scanned the area with her blue eyes. She had been at training for a few hours already and showed no real sign of slowing. Raising a hand to her brow she wiped the sweat away. She would roll her shoulders carefully and stretch her neck. Turning the spear in a few circles in front of her a few times before adjusting her footing to start up again.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS 260 Noah Solberg
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Noah had come to the Ludus Magnus, even though he had no lesson to attend himself, to bring one of his friends a herbal tonic to help with his restless sleep. It tastes like crap, as one would expect a herbal medicinal drink to taste like, but it did its job just fine. One sip and he would be out - completely until the next morning. He carefully transported the glass flask in his hands as he marched over the training area to where his friend was standing, dodging multiple blades and throwing knives.
Despite having other plans including a meeting with his co-centurion, Noah’s friend kept him busy, starting the longest conversation in history. With a sigh of defeat the son of Apollo nodded and leaned back against the wall, fingers brushing along the wooden arm of a fighting dummy that was standing next to him. "Mhm, mhm." Perhaps next time he should bring him a tonic to keep him from talking. Maybe just make this one stronger so his friend would be knocked out instantly.
His gaze drifted over the arena, watching a variety of demigods from different cohorts train. It was quite empty, to his Praetors dismay he guessed, when his eyes paused on a brunette female. She just happened to be in the easiest line of sight and so he unintentionally watched her train for a while until he observed her moving a little strange. He hadn’t seen how she was hurt but he could see from the grimace she made that something was off.
He patted his friend on the shoulder before taking his leave. Long legs strode over to where the girl was. Noah crossed his arms over his chest as he approached her, keeping his distance just enough so she couldn’t accidentally, or not accidentally, stab him with the spear she was holding. "You look like you’re hurt," he stated simply, two fair eyebrows raised in expectancy of a positive answer that would prove his assumption to be true.
Claire had been very into her training ignoring most of her surroundings. She hadn't even realized she was being watched. Though she hadn't showed too much signs of stopping anytime soon. Though her side pained her she simply ignored the pain pushing herself further. Many known her to be stubborn and now wasn't any different. She needed to improve and that's exactly what she planned to do.
Claire hadn't expected to be interrupted during training and quickly turned to have a look at who distracted her. She gripped the spear but was careful not to hurt whoever was behind her. She may have been annoyed by the mild inconvenience but she brushed it off. The part that did bother her was he pointed out her injury. Eventually she would have gotten it treated but she had been set on finishing. She gave the blonde boy a shrug. She recognized him from being in the second cohort.
Claire being as stubborn as she was played it off as nothing. "It's nothing serious...just a scratch" she told him. She lowered the spear so that the tip of it was in dirt beneath her. She leaned on the shaft of the spear crossing her arms over each other. Her blue eyes looking him over. Other than the grimace at the sudden movement earlier, she showed no sign that she was in pain. In fact she held a serious expression upon her face.

[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Noah tilted his head softly to the side, eyebrows still raised in expectancy, although she made it clear to him that the wound wasn’t anything serious. The experienced healer doubted that. Even without his abilities, he could have spotted it from far away. It was something his mother, who was working as a paramedic, had taught him when he was younger. Mostly to make sure he knew how to judge his own injuries because she was worried he had inherited her thickheadedness. Fortunately, he didn’t… not really. He could be a little stubborn but then again, everyone was to a certain degree even if it varied from reason to reason.
"Mhm, I see," he mumbled, nodding slightly in utter pretense. The blond took a step forward, blue eyes briefly flicking to the spear she was now leaning on rather than having it in her hands which he supposed was of better advantage for him, even though he knew she could most likely have its tip pointed at his face in a millisecond. Noah removed one of his arms from where it was resting just below his armpit, pointing at her hip. "See, perks of having inherited part of my father's ability and skill is that I can practically feel the blood dripping from it," he let her know, smiling with closed lips at her before he gave her a shake with his head. "There’s no way of fooling me. I mean nice try but do try better next time." He tried making a point by lifting his eyebrows a little higher. The number of campers that tried getting away with the same old excuse was astonishingly high. Noah was nothing but used to getting told they were fine, alright, it was nothing to worry about. However, that never stopped him from treating their injuries.
He slipped a dagger out of its sheath that was wrapped around his thigh, flipping it around so he was holding on to the blade, skillful hands making sure not to cut himself. "So you're telling me if I nudge that area it would be all good?" he asked, joking of course, as he playfully pretended to poke her with the hilt of his dagger.
Claire gave him a glare as he seemed to mock her. She had certainly been through worse than a cut. Especially when it came to sparring with Jax. The two never went easy on each other one of them or both of them ending up in the infirmary sometimes. Claire could take a beating for sure but she knew at this point there was no way around this. Noah had noticed and there was certainly no getting out it now. Though that didn't mean she would look defeated. "Been through worse than a cut...trust me with Jax definitely can take a beating" she stated.
Claire stood there in front of him arms crossed over her chest. There was a slightly irritated look in her eyes but was no way ready to snap. Any other one of her sibling would have probably gone off on Noah. Claire held at least some degree of restraint. There was no reason to waster her breath or energy over some stupid thing. Besides one way or another Noah didn't show any sign of backing down. Even as he went to pretend to poke her she didn't budge. Simply her blue gaze was locked on him.
"Fine you win...but I am telling you it really doesn't bother me" she admitted. She figured the best way to get the child of Apollo off her case was give in. Didn't mean she would throw in the towel so easily. She still showed little emotion on her face. Not even one of defeat or pain. Though as she finally wasn't constantly training and the adrenaline was wearing off the pain was slowly emerging.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS 274 Noah Solberg
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] The son of Apollo kept his features neutral, only the occasional twist of his lips hinting at the silhouette of a smile. It’s always the same old story, the same stubbornness, and thickheadedness of the legionnaires. It must be some sort of inherited trait bestowed on them upon birth. He smacked his lips together after she had proudly told him that she had been through worse, especially with Jax. He knew the children of Mars very well, considering their half-brother was Praetor of Camp Jupiter. One of them at least.
Comparing the lot of them definitely made it appear that they did indeed inherit the same foolishness. Noah shrugged, once again. "I could explain to you how nasty a simple cut could get. Infection, necrotic tissue, and so on. But I wouldn’t want you to die of boredom." Noah joked, pursing his lips. He watched her defiant attitude with amusement, being used to it so much. It was almost a daily occurrence, especially with the new arrivals. But he could play the same game all day long if he had the time for it. Unfortunately, he didn’t. Infirmary duty was calling and there were no days off besides helping out with Centurion things here and there.
When she finally gave up, agreeing to let him take a look at it, he smiled at her. "Great. Trying to talk you into letting me take a look probably took longer than actually taking care of it," he commented, lifting both fair eyebrows at the brunette. "I get it. You're a very tough girl and it doesn’t bother you, but it bothers me. Can’t expect a doctor to leave his patient bleeding all over the place now, can you?" he quipped, rubbing his hands eagerly together before gesturing towards a bench nearby. "Take a seat and let me work my magic. You'll be free to go and gambol around in no time."
Claire couldn't help the stubbornness sometimes. Sometimes it came down to a pride thing. She hated looking weak in front of others, especially around her siblings in the other cohorts. She didn't like being viewed as lesser because she was not as much of a super aggressive and arrogant person. She got put in third cohort because she could actually be nice. Was being nice such a bad thing? She was still a good fighter, she did best Jax a few times. Claire often didn't think about the consequences of injuries until after the fact.
Claire rolled her eyes slight and gave an exaggerated yawn. "Yes save me the boredom of a lecture that I have probably heard far too many times" she said. The amount of times she had been warned about infections were too many to count. Guess that is what happens when one is always up to something. Claire had lost track of how many cuts and injuries she had received since her arrival here. Let alone the amount of infirmary visits she had made.
She could tell he was happy when she had given in to his demand just by the smile on his face. "Yeah, yeah don't remind me.." she said to him. She listened to the comment about her tough girl act and how it didn't bother her but himself. "No I guess not, something about it being your job..:" she said to him. She would move to take a seat on the bench leaning the spear she had against it. The sooner this was done the sooner she could get back to training.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Noah Solberg
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Noah waited until Claire sat down and put away that pointy spear of hers. He eyed it suspiciously as she leaned the weapon against it. The son of Apollo had a no weapons policy at the Infirmary but he couldn’t enforce it all around camp. Not that he wanted to do that. The Infirmary, however, usually needed to be a quiet and calming place. Having legionnaires fussing around with sharp blades between injured kids wasn’t providing the comfort he was seeking. Not to mention that it could be a little distracting… having to focus on healing as well as avoiding getting accidentally stabbed.
The blond stepped closer to the bench, kneeling down on one knee, palms resting against the one that was up. "I think I might need to ask you to promise not to run that spear through me." Noah said, glancing at the spear for a brief moment before turning his gaze back to her. He carefully held out one hand, trying to feel the veins and arteries around the wound. He could feel the blood rushing through them. Moving on to the damaged tissue and skin he inched a little closer, narrowing his eyes at the cut.
The good thing was Noah didn’t always need to touch the wound or the area itself. The only reason to physically touch it was because his abilities worked faster, easier. But as if the daughter of Mars had inspired him he was going for a little bit of a challenge. And after all, it wasn’t a life-threatening wound yet. He flexed his fingers, pulling at the edge of the cut, a mental image of it slowly and carefully closing popping up in his head. "If you feel any pain or discomfort let me know." he commented as he concentrated on it. He only broke his focus to quickly glance up at Claire, grimacing softly. "But please speak. Don’t kick me in the shins."
Claire gave him a serious look. She may have been stubborn and sometimes easily angered. However she was not the type to run a person through, especially not the person who was healing her. Doing so would be a really stupid idea. Especially when that was the person trying to heal her cut. "Hadn't planned to use my weapon, especially not on you. I am not that stupid" she told him with a roll of her eyes. Noah had treated her before though most times she didn't have her weapon on her
Claire let him inspect the wound. She watched as he worked carefully. Though when he told her not to kick him she gave him a fake look of disappointment. "Wow so little faith in me...jeez" she told him. She shook her head trying to ignore what he was doing and allow it to just happen. Though she grimaced lightly as a pain slowly developed. "Ow..that does hurt" she told him. She looked at him unable to ignore that. She had told him and not kicked him.
Claire certainly should have been used to it. She had received plenty of cuts and injuries in her time here. Though some healing hurt more than others did at times. Usually depended on who was treating her and how bad the injury was.
