camp jupiter - romansJust a quick run-down. Romans are very militaristic. They are very disciplined and the pride of the legion is always number one. As Lupa said "Conquer or die."
Speaking of Lupa...she is the immortal Roman wolf goddess who trains Roman demigods in the ways of Rome. She trains the demigods at the Wolf House, then sends them to Camp Jupiter where they can join the Twelfth Legion. No Roman demigods are allowed entry until they have proven themselves with her.
If she judges them worthy, she takes them to the Roman camp where they are eventually marked with the symbol of their godly parent and the initials SPQR. For each year they stay, they receive a bar line underneath their tattoos similar to the Greek demigods who get a bead to their necklaces every year they spend at Camp Half-Blood.
Camp Jupiter has a complex societal structure, consisting of the praetors, cohorts, centurions, legionnaires, and probatio.
First in the chain of command are the Praetors. They are the elected leaders of camp and the camp's safety and future lies entirely with them. A centurion must serve at least five years in the legion to qualify, and then graduate to praetor. There are only two Praetors allowed in office at a single time.
Like the cabins of Camp Half-Blood, cohorts are where the campers are divided and placed in. There are five cohorts. Each cohort has 4 barracks of 10 bunks. The first and second Cohorts are the most esteemed while the fifth is considered to be the least honored. Campers traditionally receive their place in the cohorts through family recommendation letters but also can be given acceptance by a centurion's personal recommendation. Campers from Camp Half-Blood are currently being placed in an emergency cohort shelter.
Centurions are the leaders of the cohorts, similar to the Head Counselors at Camp Half Blood. Each Cohort has two Centurions.
Probatio are legionnaires who have not yet proven themselves. To prove themselves they need to have done a year of service or prove themselves with an act of valor and bravery to become a full member of the legion. However, they are already sorted into a cohort prior.
Although an official name for these demigods has not been found, the legionnaires are those who have passed Probatio and are now official members of the legion.
A legacy is any mortal who is a second or further generation descendant of a god, namely the children, grandchild or descendant of a Demigod.
Unlike Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter considers fauns to be homeless monsters who are not allowed to work for the camp or search the world to recruit demigods. They may or may not beg you for a spare coin if you stumble across one.

camp half-blood - greeksYou are now homeless. But don't be too sad about it, you now have a whole new world to discover, just er... try not to get killed.
Campers arriving from Camp Half-Blood are given bunks in an emergency cohort shelter with many wings so that campers may continue to bunk with their siblings.
Campers are not considered "Probatio" currently, they're considered refugees
Greek campers are not tattooed. It is unknown whether the unclaimed Greek campers will or even can be claimed by their Greek parent while they are in the Roman camp.
Chiron has left the Camp Half-Blood cabin leaders as the only sort of leadership that the Greeks have. The rest of the camp's "godly" leaders have all either gone into hiding or have been sent out to find what and who are responsible for the destruction of their camp.
