Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Claire stood her Spatha in hand wearing light armor that matched her opponents. Her hairs was tied back in a simple ponytail. She was in a ready stance waiting to retaliate her opponents next move. It had been going on for a bit and she was already pretty bruised and cut up. Of course that didn't mean she was going to give up so easily. Her opponent was tiring, they were a child of Trivia. Though Claire growing impatient charged in only for the opponent to use magic. Powers was illegal in the fights so it threw her off.
Claire had been blinded and seen nothing but darkness. From there they took advantage slamming an elbow into her ribs and swinging their own Spatha down creating a cut down her arm. Still blinded Claire stumbled back falling to the floor. She was gasping in attempt to catch her breath from the blow. Had she been able to catch her breath she would of been cursing. She blinked blindly as she waited for whatever spell was over. She could feel the searing pain in her harm but still once the darkness began fading she tried to get up and continue fighting. Though she found herself sinking back into a sitting position holding her arm. Stars danced in her vision as the adrenaline that had previously coursed through her body began to fade.
Claire was not only pissed at being defeated but she was angry with feeling vulnerable. She was irritated because she had lost due to someone using powers when they shouldn't. What had she done to deserve that? She had never started anything with the Trivia kids, and for good reason. So to say the least Claire was in a terrible mood now. Her blue eyes closed as she tried to calm herself before she went off in a rage.
Castor didn't have any want or need to participate in the Olympics. Instead he had decided to spend his time refereeing. It was a job he was good at. One that he had filled countless times. Sometimes while on training rotation to fill in for a teacher and sometimes just to oversee something new that two of his Cohort legionnaires wanted to try out on each other before they tried it out in the camp war games. Then there was of course just the general having to ref fights between said legionnaires that popped up. Needless to say, he had gotten quite good at it.
The match that he currently was overseeing involved one of his Legionnaires and a child of Trivia from the fourth. There hadn't been much foul play so far. The match had gotten long though and the longer these things went on the more dangerous they tended to become. Fighters got tired. Fighters got desperate. He didn't say a word as he watched with careful eyes as the two had fought together. There had been nothing to call whatsoever and perhaps that was why the foul had been allowed to go as long as it did before he ended it.
Claire had charged the other girl but instead of landing a blow she checked up and paused, giving the other girl time and opportunity to hit her in the ribs. Castor pursed his lips as he watched Claire get sliced by the blade. She hadn't said a word but as she stumbled back Castor noticed the furious blinking. Magic.
Castor immediately jumped between the two. "Disqualified. Claire Williams wins the match." The other legionnaire looked as if she was ready to kill them both, throwing her spatha on the ground. He called for her Centurion and pointed in the direction of the sulking girl before turning his attention to Claire. "You alright? What's going on?" He knew she needed a medic, the cut on her arm would need to be healed, but he had no idea what spell she was working through. Another ref came to replace him and he helped escort Claire out of the match ring.
Claire was in a state of both confusion as everything had happened. She vaguely heard the words her her winning, not a true win it was by default. Though that was probably the least of her worries. She could see nothing but black aside from the stars dancing in her vision from the pain. She heard shuffling and complaining but was unaware of what was happening.
She hadn't even seen Castor rush over only aware he was there by his voice. "Can't see..." she said slightly panicked. There was sense of fear in her voice. Something one never seen come from her. She always played the tough card and hid behind its walls. She had always built walls to hide emotions from others but in her vulnerable state they had been torn down. Here she was not actually showing fear. She winced as he helped her to her feet and out of the ring. She hated this feeling of being weak and vulnerable.
Though as much as she wanted to push Castor away and say she was fine she knew well enough she wasn't. She couldn't see though slowly it was waring off. Or maybe it was the pain she was unsure. She sure hoped Jax didn't find out about this. So much for proving herself just as great as first cohort and her half brother. There was so many things she felt at the moment. Vulnerability, anger embarrassment and weak. She hated herself for even letting that happen. As though she could defend herself from magic. That didn't stop Claire from being angry at herself.
As they exited the ring vision however slowly beginning to return to her. She held blindly to Castor. For a moment she needed to just sit and catch her breath. She asked for him to help her to one of the benches. Once sitting she took a deep shaky breath. Her good arm raising her hand to brush over her eyes hoping it would help with the blurriness she was seeing. It didn't though so it was safe to assume only time would.

Castor had made his way over, his face in concentration as he tried figuring out what was going on. Clearly magic had been used, but it wasn't exactly cut and dry, there were a thousand things that could be going on with her. Claire said she couldn't see and he spoke up, "Alright. It's okay. I'm right here. It's going to clear up, just take a few deep breaths." He tried keeping his voice level and soothing. The last thing that he wanted was for her to panic. "I'm going to touch your good arm okay? We're going to leave the ring. Everything is fine." He carefully put his hand on her good arm. His palm going around her elbow to lead her carefully.
He could hear the voice of the other Centurion growing louder and as much as he hated to say it, that made him happy. There was no sense in using magic like that. There were clear rules for a reason. That kind of showmanship was dishonorable, downright un-Roman. He couldn't let himself think about that at the moment though. His only concern at that point was getting Claire medical attention.
He had planned to take her straight to the medical tent. With any luck there would be a child of Trivia there who could do something against the magic she was fighting. Instead though, Claire asked him to help her sit. "Alright. No problem." He gently led her to where the benches were, carefully helping her sit down. He watched her take a deep breath and though she couldn't see it, he nodded. "Good. One more deep breath."
She rubbed her eyes and he glanced around for a kid of Trivia, spotting none. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the medical tent?" Castor squatted in front of her, ready to jump into action if she needed it. "There's no shame in getting help when you need it. She fouled you, you don't need to sit there and grit the pain." He knew there was some sense of pride eating at her. He could understand it but at the end of the day, her health was more important.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Claire was trembling slightly as he helped her to her feet and out of the ring. Claire was scared more than let on. A part of her was relieved it was Castor helping her. Though she had never let him see her so vulnerable like this. No one ever did really. She didn't like appear weak. Maybe it was pride or maybe it was a sense of protecting the emotional side of herself.
She was relieved when he at least let her sit. Even if it was only for a moment. "I...I just have to catch my breath..." she told him. She knew she needed medical treatment but was exhausted. The adrenaline was gone and the pain set in. Panic had set in the moment she was blinded with vision. Besides she had already gotten a concussion not that it had stopped her from continuing in events. "I...I'll go just had to catch my breath..." she said. her voice was shaky. As much as she was emotionally shaken she refused to shed a tear. She felt weak enough as it was and crying wasn't going to help.
"I know...and we can go now..." she said. She shook her head at his words. To her this wasn't a win even if he had declared it. "I won by default...that is not a win..." she said her tone growing serious as she tried to mask all the emotions inside again. Desperate to lock it all away. She was desperate to put those walls around herself again. The ones that shut people out from how she really felt. Her mind raced as she waited for Castor to help her up so they could continue. How was she supposed to prove herself now? Claire felt so defeated yet she refused to show it, or tried not to.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Castor Boyd
Castor remained in front of Claire, squatting down so he'd be at eye level as she sat on the bench. She said she needed a moment and Castor replied with a steady voice, "Take as long as you need. There's no one around." He glanced around them to be sure. The event had carried on after they had left the arena's edge and the crowd's attention was on the newest fighters. There wasn't anyone else near. And the few who were walking by weren't giving the pair of them a second glance. He supposed that was a small blessing. At least the magic hadn't come with any awful side effects that were glaringly obvious. It was easy to wait out a small bout of blindness. It was much harder to wait out the effects of a monkey tail or turning into an amphibian.
He himself had never had to face anything quite that bad, but he had certainly seen it happen to others. The children of Trivia and their magic could be quite deadly, but also quite hilarious at times. It just depended on which side of the magic you ended up on. She mentioned she had to catch her breath and a small line of concern appeared between his brows. "Do you have any airway restriction?" That was a red flag of course. He didn’t think the demigod that she had been fighting would have done something so unforgivable as danger Claire's lungs but tensions had been running high.
Claire gave the go ahead to visit the medic tent and Castor carefully braced his hand on her arm to help her up. He was glad she was able to make it to the tent. He couldn't do anything for her condition but give support. He felt much better letting a healer or medic do their job. Claire spoke about the win not being an actual win and Castor replied seriously, "That's nonsense. You won because your opponent realized she couldn't beat you in a fair fight. It's a win Claire." he could understand the emotions she was feeling, but he also knew she won the fight fairly. She hadn't been the one to cheat. She hadn't been the one to bring her powers into the ring. She won because she fought the right way.
Claire looked at him despite being unable to see him. "I am fine just tired...I promise it is nothing.." she told him. She could sense his concern. The exhaustion had washed over her like a wave. Mostly a mix between the adrenaline being gone and the fact she was bleeding from the cut down her arm. There was probably a mix of just the emotional exhaustion there too. Most of the day had been a constant motion. It had all suddenly come to a screeching halt after that fight.
Claire let him guide her to the tent. She tried to cover up the vulnerable feeling that was creeping up on her again as they got closer. She tried to hide the pain that she felt from her expression. She took a deep breath as they headed in the tent. Castor seemed to try and reassure her it was a real win. As much as he tried Claire wasn't so sure. She had been defeated by magic of all things. Despite the blindness she should of reacted rather that had sat there stunned like a deer in headlights. There had to been something she could have done. A good warrior didn't need to see to defend themselves. Maybe it was her feeling her pride was hurt or maybe it was the embarrassment aspect of things.
Claire remained silent as he led her into the tent. The pain by now certainly setting in and she grew a little dizzy, though mostly a result of her pain and the blood loss. Claire just wanted this to be over with, one way or another. Though a thought did cross her mind to hopefully avoid William. She and him hadn't exactly gotten along earlier after the chariot race. Certainly he wouldn't be so keen to see her either.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Castor Boyd
Castor gently got Claire off of her feet and helped her walk to the medic tent. He made sure his hand was gentle enough not to cause harm but steady enough to help guide her. He kept their pace nice and easy. He didn't want her to rush or stumble and make her wounds worse. Right now the worst thing that she had to deal with, aside from the magic, was a bad cut, if she fell it might tear the area.
Castor walked into the tent with Claire. He stopped the first healer that they came to. "Hey, a kid from Trivia used magic on her. She can't see anything do you have anyone here who can help?" The medic told them to wait and left. He glanced at her wound. It was bleeding, but not enough to worry him. He had unfortunately seen much worse. She could handle it. He figured if the girl hadn't of gotten hit with the magic she might not have needed a healer at all.
The medic came back with a boy from Trivia that Castor knew was in the fourth. He introduced himself and Castor spoke up, "Alright Claire, I'm going to leave you with him alright? You're in good hands." The medic carefully put his hand on Claire's good arm and Castor replied once more. "If anything goes wrong, I'll be at the hand-to-hand arena. Come get me." He made sure the medic heard him, acknowledging it with a nod before turning to head back to the training arena.
