Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Aurora was in a much happier mood than she had upon her arrival to the camp. It had certainly taken a lot of adjustment for her as she was in no way a fighter. The Romans were all about training and lots of it. The only relief and source of entertainment was the parties thrown around the cohorts, normally by Nathan. That and Kaiden had returned, much to her relief. So things had begun to look up for the most part. Of course the whole marching drills and excessive training was not her thing. Besides that and the fact they were not separated by their godly parents. The concept made no sense to her. It was only another thing to get used to.
Come time for meals she was at least glad her siblings seemed to grab a table just for them. However some days she sat with Kaiden. Though today she was sitting alongside her siblings at the table. She was waiting for food to be served and looked around at her siblings. She noticed her half sibling, Kian across from her. Though the funny part was when she picked up on what he said. Aurora had a good understanding of most French. The words brought a light laugh to escape her lips.
Though the laugh faded and the serious expression crossed her face. She looked between him and the girl. "Hey Kian...do you even know what that means?" she asked. She hoped the Roman didn't understand it because chances were she would hurt him for that. It was definitely the type of phrase you didn't just shout out and expect a good reaction to come from it, especially from a stranger. A stranger that just so happened to be a Greek.

Aurora made her way over to watch him as he prepared the tea for them both. "No allergies that I am aware of" she told him calmly. She stood out of the way to give him space of course but was curious as too what he put in the tea. She had never been too big on the tea but she could certainly use energy at the moment. Running on no sleep was certain to land her in some trouble.
However the comment of looking Roman seemed to leave her feeling uncertain. She didn't want to be Roman. Their way of things from what she had seen in her short time here were not something she was all for. She was far from a fighter, though often Kaiden had been a fighter. "I...um thanks I guess.." she replied.
Besides they were far more strict here than they were back at camp. It was always relaxing and all about having a good summer. Often only staying during the summer and attending school. When he asked about camp she pushed a strand of air out her face. "Yeah we often knew how to have a good time. It was definitely different than here. Was often laid back. Functioned more like a summer camp but also taught us how to survive in the outside world. The views of long island sound during sunrise or even sunset were amazing.." she said.
There was a small hint of sadness in her tone. There was a lot she wouldn't be able to do here. Things that she held dear to her hear. All of which would only be a memory to her now. She gave Noah a weak smile once more hiding the sadness behind a mask of calm and exhaustion. it had gotten her this far so there was no point in dropping it now.

Aurora and Kayden had been adjusting to Camp Jupiter. Sometimes days were harder than others. Though she was certainly glad he had Kayden. Often it made things be easier to adjust to. She had someone to lean on when she needed it. She was of course in the process of making friends here, for the daughter of Aphrodite it wasn't that hard. But since everything the two hadn't exactly taken the time to just enjoy the others company.
Though today was a change of pace. Kayden had insisted on a date, and Aurora suggested on going to New Rome. The good thing was New Rome had so much to offer. It was certainly a beautiful place as well. She hoped Kayden liked it as much as she did. However she wasn't even sure what sort of plans they had planned for that day. She figured they could figure out what they had in mind for the day. Unless her had ideas. Personally she didn't care what they did. She just wanted to spend the evening with Kayden and she would be happy.
She wore her camp shirt and jeans. Her hair was left down to flow freely over her shoulder. Her brown gaze looking over to Kayden calmly. "Any specific plans for today?" she asked him curiously.

The two camps had many differences between them. The Greeks were always laid back and a bit more chill. Meanwhile the Romans always seemed ready for war. Maybe if this was reversed the Romans would still be standing strong ready to fight off whoever dares challenge them. They had a whole city in the heart of their camp where demigods could live out the rest of their lives. Demigods were lucky if they ever could live into their 20's. Here however they had no issues with that.
Aurora hid her own emotion behind a smile. Something she was very used to. Even more so after her arrival here in Camp Jupiter. Hiding the pain and emotion behind a wall. When Kaiden turned up things had gotten easier and she wasn't faking anymore. But tonight was one of many feelings. The emotion was everywhere and it was obvious. When Kaiden said she was amazing she was sure she felt like she was. "Not sure I feel amazing..." she told him. She had lost friends in that fight but she was glad she didn't lose Kaiden too. She would of been an emotional wreck. "I love you too..." she said.
It was obvious he was trying to hid is own emotions. Holding his hand she reassured him it was okay to be sad. He wasn't alone with that feeling. They all felt it and some more obvious than others. "Me too...and I agree we owe it to them to make all of this work. Keep anything like that from happening again..." she told him.

Aurora offered a soft smile. "She really isn't that bad maybe you'll meet her at some point. I know she arrived here with a handful of others" she said to him. Though the minute she said the words a pang of sadness washed over her. She didn't let the emotion show past her smile. With a soft deep breath she pushed all the feelings and bad thoughts away again.
Certainly Nathan had proved to not only be a great host but an interesting person. For a Roman it was certainly not that bad of an experience. Some of them like Nathan were really nice. Of course there were the few that hated them. Nathan definitely seemed like the type of person she could see herself being friends with. He was outgoing and kind. She smiled at his comment. "I guess I have my mothers gifts of beauty to thank for that" she told him.
Aurora took another sip of her punch and look at him kindly. She herself had not realized how close they had gotten. "Well I will certainly do well to keep that in mind then" she said with a warm and playful smile. Nathan caused a side of her that she had locked away since leaving Camp Half Blood. A more fun loving and outgoing side of her. Before now she had no real reason to be happy. Friends and those she cared about were missing. Yet Nathan seemed to help her get past the pain and push it all aside.

Aurora was never the type of person to be much of a fighter. Though the work she had seen Apollo kids from both sides do when it came to healing was amazing. Of course most were just gifted with their abilities due to their father. If she was honest it seemed a lot more useful than charmspeak. Of course she would leave to talents to those who possessed them. She watched as her finished up healing the cut. "Thanks.." she told him calmly.
Aurora watched him carefully as he grabbed out clothes. There was a knot in her stomach as he pulled out the purple shirt. She gave him a slight nod. She tried to hide her unease with a smile. Of course things were going to change here. But she was no Roman and the sudden thought of replacing her usual orange camp shirt felt odd. Though he was right about how destroyed her shirt was. Even as a daughter of Aphrodite her skills could not repair the shirt.
When he had turned to leave she allowed herself to change of the shirt and into the new one. She would fix her hair and pull it all to one side over her right shoulder. When asked about the tea she gave a shrug. "Sure why not.." she said to him. She would step over to watch what he was doing with curiosity. She sure could use a pick me up. Maybe it would giver her a bit of an energy boost to get through the day. Aurora was exhausted from both the trip and lack of sleep.

Adjusting to this place had been a challenge for sure. So much here was different and it was definitely a struggle to prove the Romans they were worth something more than refugees. The idea behind some events was fun and a great way to get both involved. Though clearly the Romans outmatched them and this seemed like a way for them to just show off more. This was why Aurora just to just help with decorating. No competition was needed.
Though she couldn't help but chuckle at the comment Sienna made. It was certainly amusing to say the least. Of course she had no need to look at any of the guys here. She was content and happy with Kaiden. It wasn't exactly something common for a daughter of Aphrodite. Many of which were know to flirt and date a lot of people. Not Aurora though, she had her eyes set on one. She had refused to break his heart as a right of passage when she arrived and she didn't plan on doing so now. "Can't say I have bothered to look" she told her.
Aurora was working on trying a few combinations of flowers to get the desired look she wanted. It also was a way to avoid making eye contact with Sienna. Just by her reaction and shyness it made it all the more obvious of how she felt. Her whole demeanor had changed in just a day. Prior to his arrival she had been an emotional wreck and just lost, anyone who had known her good enough could see it. Yet now he was back and she was much more relaxed and happy. "He...he is someone who saved my life twice...following everything at camp I didn't know what happened to him. He finally made his way here..." she said. She definitely avoided details a little out of shyness.

Aurora gave a soft nod to his words. She knew why he did this. She knew why they all did this. Of course this wasn't going to make it all the easier. She knew they had each other to now. They were no longer alone in this fight or these emotions. They could depend on each other.
"I'm not crying but just understand we are not in this alone..." she told him calmly. As he kissed her forehead she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She hoped to reassure him if even in the slightest bit. They could get through this, they all would. Things might prove hard now but they would get through this. They always did. Pulling out of the hug she let him take a hold of her hand.
She grabbed her own lantern and would follow him out to the field of mars. Letting the barrier down like they planned was definitely dangerous. Especially with so many demigods around now. But it was certainly worth the risk. "Yes it is perfect" she said to him.

Aurora couldn't help but laugh at the comment about the colors. "Definitely the hardest but you made it work. Can't say I could have done better myself with the color scheme" she told her as she got comfortable sitting on the floor with her. Of course Aurora would probably have been working with makeup and not just simple colors. It seemed siting for the daughter of Iris to have worked it out though.
She reached over to grabbed a jar and examined the flowers available. There were so many options and because she suggested making them all unique it made the options endless. Slowly she began working her way with picking a few large of the flowers and mixing in some smaller ones. With each addition she looked it over carefully. She changed and added different things when she felt one thing wasn't working out. "I am absolutely certain we can handle this. How hard can it be?" she told her with a grin.
Aurora smiled brightly at the mention of gossip. Of course she was aware of many different things, mostly a result of her half siblings. "You know the usual. Supposedly a Roman kid of Mercury and I believe a daughter of Hades are seeing each other. Isn't all too much detail on it but i have heard it from a few people" she noted. Of course the biggest news from her was that Kaiden was back. It was obvious something happened as Aurora had just been in a far better mood. "Though um Kaidens back..." she told her. Her gaze however never left the arrangements as her hands worked carefully to make each on look nice. She arranged the flowers and once she was set with it the cut the stems.

Aurora watched as he dolled up looking in the mirror. She dressed in at least sort of formal. She wanted to look good but at least relatively formal close. "Well no one told you had to go super formal with it. Besides for me it comes naturally" she said offering a weak smile. She knew how sad this night was for all of them. It wasn't easy for all of them to say goodbye to those they had lost in the chaos. She could see his pain and when he hugged her held him close. She found it hard to believe that just weeks before this she though he was dead. She wrapped her arms around him sort of scared to let him go but eventually pulled away to grab her own lantern.
"Yeah they do I guess..." she said. Though Aurora was trying to stay strong if not for her but for Kaiden. She knew how he had felt as she had gotten good at reading people. Besides she knew Kaiden better than anyone else really. She would place a hand on his shoulder to offer comfort. "Don't talk like that...you do deserve this..." she said. her brown eyes watched him for a long moment. She hated him talking like that. She couldn't imagine if he wasn't there with her. If she was the one saying goodbye to him. She held back tears at the very thought. Not that was not what she was going to do here. She had to remain strong.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Kayden Hoyer
Aurora was not a big fan of fighting. So when it came to the announcement of the Olympics she immediately ensured she was not going to participate in any of the events. Of course it didn't mean she couldn't help out in the decorating committee. She could be free of the violence while still being helpful in other areas. She of course was worried about Kaiden who had signed up. He had just arrived and was already throwing himself into more danger.
Spotting Sienna she made her way over to her with a smile. She was certainly in a much better mood. Many could see that just from the way she carried herself. of course still she dealt with the nightmare but the one thing had troubled her was gone. She took in what was gathered around. Both the supplies and the people helping. She was glad Sienna managed to get a group of people to help. Couldn't imagine setting everything up with just a few people. There was far too much to do.
"Of course I could make it. Not like I am doing any of the combat stuff" she told her with a grin. When asked about helping with the centerpieces she gave a nod. "I love the color scheme" she added. Aurora took a seat near her and got to work with helping. To her Sienna had always been a fun person to be around. "Anyway what is the plan with these?" she asked calmly.

Though camp Jupiter was different than camp Half Blood she did find the similarities and differences between herself and her half siblings interesting. They were both alike and different. Camp Jupiter was more military based. Meanwhile she doubted many of her own half siblings had really wielded a blade themselves. Sometimes differences mad them unique though sometimes it caused trouble. "Yes indeed we do. Though I doubt all children of Hades or Pluto are depressing. I know one who actually likes to party" she responded with a smile. A book could never be judged by its cover.
Aurora had no doubt warmed up to this party, specifically warmed up to Nathan. She had met few Romans that didn't give her a glare or treat her different. Nathan seemed chill enough if not charming. Maybe she could even make some friends. Certainly someone could always use friends, this was no different. Aurora had been through a lot since the destruction but that didn't mean she had to keep hiding from it all.
"Well thank you.." she said to him with a smile. A light blush creeping into her cheeks. Her brown eyes had a soft and gentle look to them. One that masked the pain that was buried deep within. Nathan seemed to bring out the side in her many hadn't seen in a while. A side to her that was fun loving and outgoing. Maybe it was his charming smile or his kind gaze that brought it out in her. She certainly wasn't complaining about it.
"Well mint or no mint it still looks great" she said as she took the glass from him gently. She took a sip of it and smiled once more. "Definitely as great as it looks" she added. When he asked what she thought about the camp it took a moment for her to gather her thoughts. "Well it certainly is different. I can't say it has been to bad. A lot more structure than what I am used to but one could certainly get used to it" she said to him. She held back the fact some weren't as welcoming as he seemed to be.

Aurora didn't mind the music as it was certainly relaxing to her. For one so tired it almost helped her mind drift. Though she at least managed to keep herself awake. Her brown gaze watched him curiously. "I don't reckon it is..." she told him calmly. Of course he infirmary was probably the last place you wanted to meet someone. Of course beggars could not be choosers. Things happened for a reason, even for demigods.
Though he hadn't said who is godly parent was she had gathered a few clues to come to some sort of equation. As he seemed to enjoy music and the healing abilities, if not the warmth that radiated from him. She came to one conclusion of being the son of Apollo. It would make the most sense to her. Few demigods if not nobody but Apollo's children possessed healing abilities. Of course it didn't really matter but one could certainly wonder.
"It certainly was...long and dangerous...even more so moving in smaller groups" she told him. Of course Aurora had slept very little on that trip mostly just to anxious to sleep. She hoped to at least get some sleep now that she seemed to be relatively safe here. Though her attention turned as he began healing the cut along her arm. She winced slightly but hoped it would not leave a scar. The only good news would that it wouldn't bother her anymore.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS 238 Noah Solberg
Aurora had all but dreamed of the moment they were reunited. She had thought of what she would tell him but none of what she thought off had really happened. Except maybe the scolding of never to do something so stupid again. Though certainly the kiss hadn't been planned but she enjoyed every moment of it. It made her want to yell at her half siblings for trying to make her break Kaiden's heart. Something from the beginning she had refused to do.
Her own gaze remained locked on him. A wave of emotion flooding over her as she was just as speechless. She had not expected the kiss as the two had never truly admitted to what they felt. Though he was right about you never truly knew what you had until it was gone. When it was gone it was like an empty void inside you that nothing could truly feel. "Yeah your right about that..." she said to him.
She smiled as he suddenly hugged her tight. "Don't crush me.." she teased with a light laugh. She was glad he was so willing to stay. She knew he was doing it for her. She stayed not only because it was safer but because she wanted to spend time with him. She knew a few a few spots they could hang out in.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS 225 Kayden Hoyer
Aurora couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as he spoke. "I never said we didn't only that it had been a while. And everyone throws different parties" she pointed out with a smile. Her brown eyes gleamed with a new found calm and enjoyment. She certainly hadn't intended to enjoy this party or even stay. Now she definitely intended to stay for some time.
She would run her fingers through her dark hair calmly. Nathan seemed to be a great person to be around. His smile and calm demeanor just helped her relax even more. "Well what gave that away?" she asked playfully. Maybe she just enjoyed for once not being nagged at by someone. He was the nicest someone has been to her since her arrival here.
Though she would let him lead the way to the drink table. She scanned the table of drinks and snack. She turned her brown gaze back to him. "I'll take some fruit punch.." she told him with a warm smile. She didn't mind the others who seemed to be arriving. Nathan now had her full attention. Aurora had always been a fun loving person but since coming here things had changed.
