Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Allegiance: Roman maybe Greek. She isn't sure she can trust the greeks but if someone could give her reason to then maybe.
Parentage: Open to anything, though a son of Mars or Bellona would be cool
Gender: Male
Face claims: open, leaving that for you to decide
Age: 19-20 years
Personality: open
Note: Now this is for a possible relationship for Estelle, daughter of Jupiter. She could certainly use someone she could absolutely trust to remain loyal. It would be fun for them to start off as super great friends. Someone she could rely on and trust with everything. But later the friendship develops into something more.
-A Roman x Greek Romance could certainly be interesting so I am all for it.
Again leaving this want ad pretty open for the person who takes it. If you have any questions let me know.
Estelle couldn't help at a smile at his comment. "I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon, besides you would miss me too much" she said with a light laugh. Despite taking training seriously she knew when to have a little fun. A person would get very little from life going around being serious 24/7. Besides it was a friendly spar. Though she would join Sam in asking for some storms. She could certainly use the recharge of it energy. She figured maybe later she would head to the temple to ask formerly. If their attempts worked it would certainly be worth it.
She shook her head watching him smirk as they waited for the first to make a move. As their swords clashed with a loud ring of mental she looked at him and smiled playfully. Though she couldn't help but laugh as he claimed to steal moves from Jax, "What unable to make any yourself?" she teased. She pushed back with some wind as he pushed forward. Though in an effort to break the block she pushed forward with a little more wind but pulled away with a jump back. Estelle would back away from where their blades locked and made an attempt to plan her next plan of action. She could easily try out the new move or wait a moment longer.
To carry out her move it would take some perfect timing to ensure she didn't move to slow and let him catch her. Besides there was still that chance the move could fail and she falls straight into the dirt. For her sake and the fact she didn't want to embarrass herself she was planning on using that last, unless a good time presented itself. In the mean time she charged back at him swing her sword low and pushing it forward with some wind.

Estelle was stretching slightly as she watched the fight finish up. Stopping to watch as the one legionnaire was carried out from the arena. Everyone knew these events were not for the faint of heart. Many went in and gave it everything they had. Some willing to go as far as not giving up until they could not stand any longer. Some fights could last a long time where some lasted very little. It definitely made it clear who was stronger.
Estelle was definitely going to try and win. She didn't want to come off as weak. Especially because she was from the first cohort. If she lost she doubted they would ignore that one very well. Either way she wasn't giving up easily in the fight to come. She had watched as Rhi had been announced as next. "Of course" she said when she commented as she headed off. Estelle didn't know who was due to fight until her own name was called.
Estelle gripped her spatha and made her own way out to the ring. Where Rhi had been very showy as she entered, Estelle kept a confident and serious look about her look. She twirled her wrist with the spatha as she stood on her side. So now she knew just who she was fighting. This certainly was going to be an interesting fight. Both not willing to give up and willing to fight till they couldn't.
Estelle wasn't one to whine and complain. As a daughter of Jupiter she kind of felt she shouldn't look weak to others. Her father was the King of the gods after all. Maybe she was harsh on herself but it was something that was just a part of her. She cast a glare at him when he threatened to start calling her twinkle toes. "I didn't exactly land. Though I guess it beats falling and breaking my arm. Did that once and man did that hurt. Don't you dare..." she replied to him. She gave a shake of her head. Of course Estelle enjoyed his company a great deal.
"Maybe but who knows...I am sure us dragging in the giant beast would be a bit obvious" she told him with a smile. She loved his joking attitude. It was something so few seen of him. She was of course glad to be one of those few. She of course enjoyed joking alongside him most times.
She didn't mind being soaked or the storm that still raged above them. After all this was her element. A little mud and soaked close was totally worth it. Even more so when she was out here with Liam. Of course her trip out her was not intentionally to fight the creature. "Oh you know I would never intentionally leave you out. Came out here because of the storm and well it came out of no where. She would playfully elbow him ignoring the pain in her back.
"You what...you left my sword out there.." she said with a frown. Had he been anyone else she probably would have zapped them. What else was she going to do until she could get another one. She thought maybe in the morning she could go get it unless he wanted to go back now and get it. "Unless you wanna go with me to retrieve it" she suggested. Besides it gave them a reason to stay out here longer.
Of course even if they had gone to retrieve it the blade would be gone now in the hands of the Minotaur. He stalked closer now off to the side of them. With no warning he charged forward head first swinging his head in a sweeping motion, with a last minute roar. Just as lightning had finished so the forest was dark again. He charged intending to ram them both. If they moved he would simply swing the blade at them. He had some much needed revenge to fulfill.
Estelle hadn't expected anything as they walked back. After the flash of lightning she didn't even know the beast was there. Until it roared and it was almost of top of them. Last minute Estelle grabbed Liam pulling him with her. It was enough to avoid being impaled on its horns but the side of the of horn through them aside with its sweeping motion. Estelle's side was grazed by the horns tip pretty bad but she hadn't noticed it yet. A sudden wave of adrenaline rushing through her body.
She fell to the ground where they were knocked aside to. Her first instinct was to grab the weapon she no long had. She looked to Liam. "Are you alright?" she asked. When she realized it was the Minotaur she was shocked. "I thought you killed it" she said in disbelief.

Estelle's grin never faded from her face. Though she was in first cohort she never acted as if she was better than everyone. Unlike a lot of those she knew. She was a good fighter and even as a daughter of Jupiter she viewed herself no better than the others. In her opinion she was equal to her fellow Romans. She trained a lot but that was the idea of just being ready for whatever was to come. Of course she certainly knew how to have a good time.
Even these events she was just planning on having a good time. She would do her best however she possible could. Rhi's reply about being ready didn't surprise her too much. No one knew who they were facing until they were in that arena. No way to prepare prior to the fight. All one could do was be able to adapt to whatever situation they were put in. That was what Estelle planned on doing at least.
Though the young blonde watched as Rhi tested the weapons available for them. Estelle only planned on using the Spatha. It was a weapon she was most comfortable with when it came to combat. Though that was a perk many children of Mars had was though knew how to use many different weapons. Though her attention was turned away by the question she was asked. "If I am honest I have no idea, but I will be ready to face whoever I am put up against as best I could be" she told her calmly. Though a part of her hoped it wasn't some Greek, not that she had seen many of them participating.
Estelle couldn't help but smile at her comment. "Between you and Liam I don't think I would ever waste away" she said jokingly. Meadow and Liam were the closest friends she could have. Meadow often bringing her food to ensure she didn't starve on duty, and Liam often kept her out of trouble when she snuck out. Without them both where else would she be. "I am not the best" she noted. Liam could easily best her in a fight being a son of Mars. When the comment about the subs came up she laughed, "Yes they do".
Estelle listened as Meadow spoke. Of course she wouldn't have been so easy on them. Sometimes if you gave anyone an inch they took a mile. If they were truly to adjust they had to get used to how life was here. It was sad that they lost their home but they couldn't change that. Certainly their arrival had created lots of tension between the camps. She gave a light shrug at her comments. She respected Meadows opinion of course.
Though she was kind of relieved at the change of the subject. "Yes of course we could handle anything. A force to be reckoned with when we are together" she told her calmly with a bright grin. When she mentioned guard duty she shook her head. "Nope I am free the rest of the night, unless there is any last minute changes" she told her.
After a short silence her attention turned to her question about the Greeks. Estelle did not hate them in anyway. She just didn't trust them like many of the others at camp. "I don't know honestly. I don't hate them or anything...but can they be trusted. One of their own turned on them. And the gods kept us apart for a reason" she said to her.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Meadow Stone
Estelle had placed the sword at her hip once more. Certainly she would be as ready as she ever could for this fight. She watched as the two Romans went at it. Both were well matched opponents. Many played for the glory of winning. Estelle didn't need to win to be happy. She was going to put as much of a fight as she could into each one regardless. Though a grin crossed her lips when she heard Rhi's comment. A small laugh escaped her, "Well yeah...I definitely don't blame them"
Estelle knew well enough many of the Romans could be tough fighters, regardless of their cohort. No doubt the Greeks felt intimidated by that. In their shoes she certainly would be. But many of the Romans participated for the fun of it. The day was early and who knows maybe some bold Greek did sign up. Hopefully they wouldn't face a child of Mars, then they might very well regret that decision.
Estelle grinned when Rhi asked about her being ready. "Of course I am, are you?" she asked. She was pretty she was aware of what the daughter of mars would say. Estelle was not yet sure who she was going to face. Whoever it ended up being she was sure it was going to be a fun fight, regardless the outcome. She pushed a loose strand of her blonde hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. Her grey eyes were bright and held a hint of excitement for todays events.
Estelle held herself up with one of her. Rain running down her face as she looked up to see him finish the creature. She took a deep breath attempting to catch her breath. She was still a bit dazed but aware enough to Liam as he made his way over. Her grey eyes looked up at him with a light smile. "Not so graceful landing..." she said with a light laugh. Though to laugh certainly caused a wave of pain through her back. Nothing was broken but she was sure she either got scraped up pretty good or it was going to leave a decent bruise.
Estelle welcomed Liam's help to her feet. She leaned into him slightly as she tried to gain focus on everything around her again. As she stood there the world slowly stopped spinning. She didn't even bother to check if he had killed it. She figured if he was helping her the creature was dead. She knew there was no chance of summoning any more lightning tonight. It had been exhausting to do the first time.
She looked back towards the direction of camp. Of course she loved being out here but there wasn't any chance now. They had been attacked and the best thing now was to head back. Plus she doubted Liam would want to stay out here after that. Not that she doubted him of course. He most like just wanted her safe. As outwardly he showed he was tough she knew deep down there was a soft side, at least for some. After some walking she felt good enough to walk on her own. "I think I can walk on my own now. Things have stopped spinning" she told him.
Though in the clearing the Minotaur had risen from where he laid. Now more furious than he had been before. For not only had the demigod zapped him but the other had stabbed him. Sniffing the air he picked up the scents and charged forward. This time he carried a new sense of vengeance towards the two. As it grew close it slowed down stalking its prey.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS (optional) Liam Shaw
Many seen the Olympics as a source of glory and honor. As cool as Estelle found that she was merely doing it for the fun. Using it to test her skills and see how things went. In her opinion if it happened it happened. Of course she would still giver all to see what happened.
Estelle twirled her Spatha in her hand as she stretched out a bit. She knew today would be a lot of fighting and she had to be ready for it. She just had to keep in mind no powers allowed. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a braid down her back. She still had some downtime before it was her turn. She moved to watch the current fight that was happening. Her arms crossing just over her chest as she observed carefully.
Of course Estelle was still very hesitant about the Greeks but so far they hadn't seemed to bad. This event was to welcome them. Though she was curious as to how many actually chose to participate. Many of the Romans had seemed eager to prove themselves. Though most of them were used to the combat, it was just how things were for them.
Estelle could have definitely handled herself out here as she often had many times before. Even more capable with the energy of the storm around her. Her grey gaze fell onto Liam as he rushed to shield her from the monster. It was a little irritating being treated as though she couldn't handle herself. Though she certainly wouldn't hold it against him. She knew Liam better than most people in this camp. She was probably the only person he let see a different side of him. A side not many seen from him.
"I am not even going to ask why your out here...but yes I am fine. Had rougher landings" she told him. She pushed herself to her feet and gripped her Spatha. She wasn't very keen on letting him take the blunt of the distraction. It wouldn't take too long to charge up a good bolt, mostly as there was plenty of it to just redirect.
Liam was probably among the only people she let get away with calling her sparky. Maybe because the two were close. She watched his back as much as he watched hers. He was definitely someone she enjoyed being around and talking to. Sometimes even more than Meadow. Estelle enjoyed Meadow's company but something about Liam drew her in. Something she couldn't explain in words.
"Fine but don't get yourself killed. And when I say move...move. Rather not hit you with a bolt" she warned him. She had already begun sensing around for the lightning above. There was a rumble of thunder and she had to time the strike perfectly if it was to work. Hopefully things flowed smoothly and things went well. From where she stood backed up for a running start, charging in she summoned the air beneath her to serve as a staircase up. She was coming from behind Liam as as she readied her blade she planned as she hit the monster for the bolt to strike the from the sword upon impact. Hopefully it would be enough to stun him for Liam to finish it off.
"Liam move!" she yelled. The last thing she wanted was Liam to be in range when the bolt hit. She may have been immune to it but he certainly wouldn't. If he was close or even touching the minotaur he could be zapped. Of course things going to plan were rare and this was certainly not one of those times. As the blade made contact with its shoulder the lightning came down to zap it. Though just before it was zapped it brought its other arm over grab her, though the electricity caused him to spasm sending her flying.
There was little time to react and slow herself. Even summoning such a large bolt had cause her to tire slightly, especially as it had been a while since she had done it. She found herself thrown into a tree with a slight groan of pain before she fell into the mud. She was dazed and seeing stars. Hopefully Liam knew well enough finish it off before it was no longer dazed. Hopefully he had listened and moved. If not they would certainly be sitting ducks at at the Minotaur's mercy when he came around. Estelle lay in the mud her Spatha on the ground by the Minotaur.
Estelle gave her a curious look. She certainly had varying views on the differences between them. For Estelle it was not that she believed they were different and dislike them. She just didn't know they could be trusted. Certainly the gods kept them apart for a reason, up until now of course. "I mean no difference isn't a problem...and yeah we are all pretty similar.
She smiled slightly the first sign of warming up to her since her arrival. "I mean everyone has their own way of fighting even if they were shown how. Everyone puts their own spin. Not every Roman or every Greek fights the same. You find what works for you and adapt your style to it" she told her calmly. For some fighting style always changed.
"Well that is unfortunate. Flying is pretty fun except when you fall then it can certainly leave you hurting...I still am not very good at it" she told her. She watched as she mimicked her attack and pointed a few things to improve the outcome. "Not bad definitely can use some improvement. But practice makes perfect" she said to her with a grin.
Though it was the girls sudden excitement that had caught her off guard. "I mean my father is Jupiter, his Roman counterpart" she told her calmly. She was shocked the girl hadn't realized it sooner. But Estelle also wasn't one to go out telling everyone who her father was.
"Difference can be good but also can lead to trouble" she told her. It was one of the reasons there was already tension inside the camp. She was sure the gods hid them from them with good reason. They had opposing views and that was clear. The Romans like order and a sort of military structure. While Greeks were far more laid back. "What do we use that you don't?" she asked her calmly.
Estelle shook her head as she created this whole cover story. "I can look after myself and don't need a cover story. Plus I have been sneaking out of camp for as long as I have been here this clearing is a ways from camp and secluded as well" she pointed out to her. If she got caught she got caught. She would deal with it and had no reason to lie to others to get away with things.
"Yeah I guess so or he listened to my prayers for a good storm" she told her. Since her and Sam spar she had gone up to his temple asking and praying for a good storm. Though it was when she wished to see how she did the whole flight thing. "What the flying thing? I am pretty new at it myself...only can go so far and can not fully fly long distances yet. You just control the wind to hold to up" she told her with a grin.
Gripping the sword in hand she took a running start. She leapt into the air catching herself with an invisible step of wind and continued until she was a few feet in the air. From there she leapt down with a strike at the air with her Spatha and landed on the ground in a defensive stance. "It's pretty simple" she said to her. Of course she had no knowledge of what abilities the other girl had.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] For Estelle it was a normal night of sneaking out during the thunderstorm. Seemingly a few prayers to her father and he seemed to be giving them the storms they had asked for. Or maybe he was just arguing. Either way Estelle was very happy. She wanted to practice some more flight tonight if she could. Dressed in a pair of shorts and camp Jupiter t-shirt she head out to the normal clearing she went to. She had her Spatha as always and got to her usual routine.
The rain was coming down pretty good and there was a decent amount of wind that night. Lightning occasionally lit up the moonlit forest surrounding camp. The thunder roared over head but she enjoyed it. These were the nights she lived for, the ones she felt completely whole. No miserable good weather all the time. Her blonde hair at this point was pinned down to her head and face and her clothes soaked.
She practiced her flight climbing on air like steps and jumping back down into mud with her a strike of the sword as if jumping down and attacking. Between that she slashed at the air around her. She was unaware of something lurking in the cover of the trees. Though it was only a matter of time before it struck. Estelle was confident it was safe out here having had no issues for a long time when it came to monster.
Estelle had been climbing higher into the air when out of the trees charged a Minotaur. Its roar as it charged caused her to lose focus and the air stopped holding her up. She began to fall but it was already here. Like a fly it swatted her aside into the dirt. Estelle fell with a thud into the mud a few feet away. She scrambled to her feet gripped her Spatha. "Of course this one good day is ruined by you" she said angrily.
Estelle was always glad to have someone to hang out with other than Liam. They were both among her most trusted friends she had here at Camp Jupiter. She couldn't help but laugh at her comment. "I doubt the Praetors or our Centurion would take kindly me to eating while I am on Duty. Today I was at the tunnel" she said with a light shrug. Estelle was always glad to have people she could trust. it just made life here so much better. Of course she had half siblings but that was different.
"Well at least I wasn't the only busy one" she said with a smile. She gave a slight shrug. "Does that surprise you? There are so many of them and with each day it seems to only bring more of them" she said to her. She was still uncertain about the Greeks and if they could be trusted. A part of her concerned if that traitor had followed. Camp Jupiter would not fall because of the Greeks. She would fight to protect this place.
"There is rarely anything interesting at the gate but nothing besides more Greeks. Thankfully no monsters today. Shocked the mass amount of demigods coming in hasn't brought more of them in. It is only a matter of time as there is so many of us now" she pointed out to her with a shrug. She didn't mind it here, far safer than it was out there. Not that Estelle couldn't handle it. She watched Meadow skip the rock.
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"] WORDS 256 Meadow Stone
Estelle leaned back on her hands calmly and looked out at the river before them. Estelle knew how to relax though very few times she took the time to. Between her constant training or guard duty she was always doing something. Though that wasn't including the nights she snuck out of camp when there was storms brewing just outside. Though even then she was still practicing for the most part. "If I am being honest life as a demigod is never normal. Guess that is just the wild life we live in" she said with a shrug. When she first discovered what she was she wasn't sure what to think. Over the years she just learned to accept the unexpected monsters and other craziness that came with this.
"Maybe one day they will give you some time to just relax even its a few days. The sudden crowd in camp certainly doesn't help but hopefully things can settle down soon" she said. She gave Kadence a reassuring smile. She knew she didn't understand what all of that was about. But she had a good idea because she had seen a few happen.
"As for first cohort I would say things are going alright..no ones killed anybody...not yet anyway. But lets not jinx anything, we know some of us can be a bit hot-headed.." she said with a light laugh. Sometimes personalities clashed and that was just how it was when living with others. "How's things in second cohort?" she asked.
