Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Kade rolled her eyes but smiled up at Sam anyway. It was nice to have someone with her. Sam always had her back and she loved the Hades out of him for it. " OK, ok I get it. I guess I am stuck with you. Though yeah, Morrigan is lying in a bed in the hospital wing because of me. I'll blame you if you get hurt though, since I gave you the chance to back out." she knew full well that she would still blame herself. Though for his sake, she shut up and just let him believe what he wanted. It was pointless to argue with Sam Darnay, he was as stubborn as she was.
Her abilities were definitely strange, even for a child of Apollo, though Sam was incredibly strong, and she only wished she could have his abilities over her own any day. Though she also knew that he was in much more danger being out here than even she was. The monsters could smell that power radiating from him, and she kept her eyes peeled as they walked down the road, afraid that something might burst out of the bushes at any moment and attack them. Truth was, she was glad Sam was with her, because if he wasn't she wasn't sure she would make it back in one piece anyway. " I guess you are right, we are all strange aren't we?" she took a deep breath when he reassured her about Morrigan. He was right, she was there on the edge, but if they found a way to help her, then she would feel much better about it. " You're right, just don't let that go to your head, can't have you thinking you are all knowing." she teased him as he prodded her shoulder.
" Hey, I could have figured it out. Could have just tramped my way down the road and maybe hitchhiked if I needed to. I would have figured it out eventually." she couldn't have his head getting too big, they had to fit in the car still. " wonder if anyone will even notice we are gone?" she knew that Sam had snuck out much more often, but she never really had. She was usually just in the temple. Would anyone even care if they were gone? She had no idea. Though it was probably likely that they would notice before long. She had been keeping vigil at Morrigan's bedside since it had happened, so it was bound to be noticed. " rules were made to be broken right?" she grinned up at him, Sam towered over her, and it was hard not to notice that fact.
" Sweets are the key to your heart are they Sam?" she laughed, " Or at least to your stomach." she teased him, watching out the window, staying close to Sam without even realizing she was doing. He made her feel safe, and she had not realized how much she needed that at the moment. " No I'm sure he wouldn't notice." she swallowed the knot in her throat, watching the driver and grinned at Sam as he played it off, " Its going to be an interesting movie for sure. " She watched him as he fussed with his hair. He really could pass for an actor with those charming looks of his.
Kadence climbed out of the car as Sam held the door for her and moved out of the way so that he could shut the door. Her eyes found the mermaid as well and she giggled. " Something tells me we are not the first ones that have made this trip, though I am suspicious, thinking that you have been to this particular location yourself before." she licked her lips and looked up at him, knowing it was very likely that Sam had indeed visited this Starbucks.
Following him into the cold air conditioned building, she sighed happily as the smell of coffee invaded her senses. " Gods that smells good. Yeah all of that, um..." she glanced up at the menu then back to Sam, ' We can have them here, then decide what to do next." she was starting to feel a little anxious about the whole thing, and maybe just enjoying the coffee for a moment would help.
Kade was almost on auto pilot. She was moving quickly, doing everything she could to ensure that Morrigan was going to be safe. The main thing she wanted to do was to ensure that she stopped bleeding and that she was comfortable. At least until someone else could come in and help do more. She felt absolutely like the biggest failure at the moment. How had she not seen this coming? How was it that the one time she really needed to see a vision, that she didn't? What if Morrigan died? It would be a huge problem or the camp, losing a praetor that had been in this position for so long? It would be devastating. Kade didn't have many friends, and losing Mor would rip her heart out.
The look on Dareios' face said it all, and she was sure her own echoed some of those emotions. She was very upset, mostly at herself. The idea that she was the cause of this was enough to make her even more dead set on saving her friend. No matter the cost, she would do it. Her heart was racing in her chest as she moved as fast as she could, doing everything she could to stop the flow of the blood. Luckily, it seemed some of that magic that Noah put into his salves was making a difference and she nodded as Dareios repeated what she asked for. " Yes. Need to keep this in place as best as we can, then hopefully Noah can take over and do more for her. This is at least a good start." she said a silent prayer to her father, asking for his guidance, his help to heal her praetor.
When Dareios brought it to her she quickly taped down the gauze and let Dareios lift her up onto the bed that Kade had vacated. At his question her green eyes snapped up to his and she nodded, trying to reassure him as she spoke with every ounce of reassurance she could muster. " Dareios, I can do this. I have to." she searched his eyes, hoping that he could believe in her, because if he didn't then it would just shatter her confidence. Pursing her lips she looked back down at Morrigan and moved to grab a few more things, letting the feeling that she had, her fathers guidance perhaps, move her where she needed to be. She worked over the wound as fast as she could, following her instincts, and when she was finished she looked up at Morrgian's face before cleaning the area around the wound and pulling the blankets up over her.
Swallowing down the lump in her throat she pushed some of the blonde hair that had fallen across Morrigan's face back, and sank down to the chair beside the bed. Wiping at her hands absentmindedly with a cloth, she didn't even really seem to be getting the blood off of them, it was just something she could do in that moment. Tears were falling down her cheeks again and she frowned, looking over at Dareios. " I am so sorry. I know I keep saying that but...I am. I should have known this was coming. I should have seen it." she swallowed thickly. She knew that this was a huge deal, an attack on a praetor was not something that could be brushed aside. Even when it was an accident. " Should call a meeting of the senate, I know that I need to be called in for disciplinary action."
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] The tears would not stop streaming down her cheeks as she looked up at Dareios. It was an awful situation that she had not seen coming, which only made her more angry and upset. Had she known that this was coming, that she was going to possibly snuff out the life of her friend because of a stupid vision? She never would have let them take her to the infirmary. She would have insisted they put her somewhere that she would never be able to hurt Morrigan. "I'm so sorry." she felt absolutely awful for all of this. She was losing her mind over it, not sure if she had just killed one of her best friends or not, which was enough to make anyone go mad.
She waited for Dareios to put his hand under hers, and she slipped away to grab what she could to at least get things started before the other healers got there. "Graecus..." she growled under her breath as she grabbed some herbs of Noah's some gauze and a few other things and set them all down beside Morrigan and Dareios. Kneeling back down beside him she turned her gaze to his face for a moment, "Going to do whatever it takes to save her. I hope so. I mean, my dad may have cursed me with these gods forsaken visions, but I can do a little healing too, at least until someone else can get here to help."
Kade licked her lips and took a deep breath as she looked over at him again, "I'm not going to let her leave us." she grabbed some of the gauze and took one more deep breath, "ok, you can move your hand." Once he did she pressed the gauze over the wound and found some of the herbs and salve and applied it to the wound before applying more gauze to try to keep it all together. "Crap, can you see if you can find some tape to keep this in place?" she kept it in place with her hand for now. "Then we will need to get her onto the bed. I don't need to get back in it..."
[attr="class","THREAD1BLCONTENT"] Kade grinned over at Dareios, not even beginning to imagine the thought of a smile on his face all the time. Even the semi smile he was giving her right now was almost out of place on the praetors handsome face. " No, I think seeing a smile on your face all the time would make me think someone drugged you or one of the Trivia kids did some kind of magic spell thing on you." she winked, her green eyes studying his features, he might be scary to others, but he wasn't to her, at least not really. He had his moments but nothing that really stuck in her mind to where she would shrink when she was near him.
She held her own glass up to him and sipped from it before setting it to the side so it was out of the way. Knowing either of them it would get knocked over and ruin everything. She pointed in the direction of the fire extinguisher, " At least we are covered if it happens." Kade grinned, " I hope it doesnt come to that, though I suppose if it does, I can always make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Can't have my praetor starving right?" she moved around like a bee buzzing around a bunch of flowers as she found everything they would need. She felt his eyes on her, and she tried not blush, there was something about him that always made her blush, and it was super annoying. Though, in the best of ways. Gods, she was a mess, totally late at that teenage girl with a crush game.
Swallowing a knot that had formed in her throat as he moved in closer and tucked her hair out of her face, she licked her lips, her face not able to possibly be any more red. " Th..thanks." she felt like her heart was going to burst it was racing so very fast. " Glad I don't look that terrible then." she bit her lip and looked away as he turned back to the counter, mouthing oh my gods under her breath. She had not expected for tonight to be going this way, but she was hoping that it would be the first of many days where she could feel a little less need to have to hide away, a little less need to be locked away from the pain from her visions, because right now, she felt completely at ease, and no head ache either.
It was a nice feeling, and one she didn't want to let go of. Nodding as she showed her how big to cut them she grinned, maybe it wouldn't be a complete disaster. " Maybe we will just stick to marinara then, easier than doing a meat sauce or something and safer too." Kade just knew if they tried to cook meat they would end up in the infirmary with food poisoning or something. " Quicker too, because something tells me you are starving. Maybe the growling of your stomach?" she teased him as she dug through the spices picking what she wanted.
He mentioned needing to do more work and she nodded, though tried not to show the disappointment on her face. They were going to have to get this done quickly so he could get back to his duties. He was the busiest guy in camp, she knew that. " You got it, just a little kick then." she started seasoning the sauce a little, and would add more after he was done chopping up the veggies for it. " Yeah that's usually the way they go, but this one was so dark, like..we were in the dark, I don't know, it was so strange. It wasn't...well..it was just us, but it was dark and I don't know why. It was strange, sorry. I know that doesn't make sense." not that her visions made sense often, but this one was even more strange.
Hearing him sniffle she realized what the issue was, as her own eyes were slightly burning. He bumped her shoulder and she looked up to see his eyes tearing. She giggled as he talked about the Greeks, " You really don't like them. Not that I'm their biggest fan what with the constant migraine since they arrived." she glanced around and grabbed a paper towel. " here, let me..." she wiped gently at the wetness from the tearing on his cheeks, careful not to scrape his eye with the papertowel. " Sorry, I know this isn't the softest thing in the world."

The feast was in full swing, the victors given their laurels and everyone seemed to be in pretty good spirits. It was interesting to look out at the crowd and see Greek and Roman alike all eating and talking and seemingly enjoying themselves. For once, she was feeling a little better in spirits. Morrigan had awoken the day before, which was a blessing in and of itself, though she seemed upset, apparantly someone who had helped her in the Underworld had not come through with her. She couldn't imagine the pain she must be feeling over that. It was clear in her eyes, but she did not want to ask too much, didn't want to push her too far. The truth was, Kadence had no idea what she was doing lately. She felt uneasy, and it was hard to think of anything else but the greeks and what their being here meant lately.
For now though, she was trying to enjoy herself, sipping from her drink she looked out over the crowd. Her head was pounding, nothing new with all the greeks in the area, as well as her Roman counterparts. She was a little worried about them taking down the weather barriers for the night, but she had been assured that it was going to be alright, that the children of Trivia and the others knew what to do in case of an emergency and all would be well. Popping a grape into her mouth she chewed thoughtfully until someone decided to plop down in the seat beside her.
Her eyebrows raised as she glanced in their direction, very few people usually sat beside her so easily, some were leery of her power, and tried to stay away from her on principle. Thinking she would foresee something about them or who knew what else. Swallowing down her drink she turned her eyes to them, " Oh, hello..." she smiled and bit into another grape, " Are you enjoying the festivities?"
As much as she had hoped to help Morrigan on her trip into the city with Sam, she had failed. The more she felt like she tried, the more it seemed she just was losing. It was driving her mad. All her visions, all the gifts that her father had bestowed on her and her siblings and still none of them could heal her, wake her up. It was heart breaking and Kadence was having a hard go of it. She was certain that Dareios completely blamed her for this, and that only made it hurt worse. She had the utmost respect for her praetors, and her heart broke knowing that the one that she had found herself falling for over the years, (though she was too stubborn and scared to say anything), was stressed and overworked because of what she had done. Kadence knew that Morrigan was not going to hold a grudge against her, WHEN she woke up, because Kade knew, deep in her very soul, that she was going to wake up again.
She had been in the temple all morning, praying to her father, asking for his help. Asking for him to show her what to do, but as usual there was just this dark shadow in her mind, and the doors of death. She didn't understand it and she was getting beyond frustrated. Throwing her goblet of water across the room she screamed in annoyance. All he could show her was a fuzzy shape of a shadow and the doors? That's it? What the Hades kind of vision was that? She ran out of the temple in her irritated state and headed back towards the infirmary.
Lately, that had been where she spent much of her days when she was not in training or at the temple. She was getting very little sleep, because she didn't want Morrigan to be alone. Not that she ever was, the healers were always flitting around her. Heading into the room she had sat in the chair by Morrigan's bed, her green eyes on her friend, willing her to awaken. Her eyes had started to grow heavy when she heard her voice. " Morrigan?" she didn't understand what she was asking for, didn't recognize the name she had asked about. " I don't...no one came through with you Morrigan, you just woke up..." the healers came running and she took a step back to stay out of the way.
She hated it when Sam was right. Even more so that he knew her so well. Sometimes she could swear he could read her mind, know what she was thinking before she did it. Maybe that was how he had managed to know exactly what she was doing, or she assumed he did. Sam could read her like a book, and it was rather annoying at times. " why does that not surprise me in the least. You always seem to have that ability. You sons of Jupiter can be quite a pain in the butt sometimes you know." she teased him gently. "The shock is a little of a violent plan don't you think? When you know full well you could easily just toss me over your shoulder and I wouldnt' be able to fight that. You are so much stronger than I am." she wasn't trying to sound like some ridiculous damsel in distress, even though she felt like people were constantly having to take care of her. It was true though that Sam could manhandle her with no problem, she could fight if she had to in a battle situation, shoot a bow like there was no tomorrow, but her true power unfortunately just lay with her visions.[break]
"Well with that pretty face I'm sure you can have your pick Sam." she winked at him and shook her head. She knew what he had been through with relationships in the past, but she always thought that Sam deserved true happiness. He was a great guy, he treated her with nothing but respect and she believed that any girl would be more than lucky to have him in their life. Of course, she didn't want to give him a big head, didn't want that ego to sky rocket. Though she was sure it already was pretty huge, she just was going to have to let him have this one. She chewed on her lip as he brought up Espen, she didnt' really want to involve any other campers with the potential of hurting anyone else, that was why she was even reluctant to let Sam go with her. " I don't want anyone else to get hurt because of me. That includes you you know. You really don't have to come with me Sam." she gave him a serious look and sighed, knowing full well she was fighting a losing battle there. [break]
Kade rubbed at her arms as they passed the border, much like Sam was feeling, she had that tingling sensation running over her skin making her completely feel out of sorts. She fidgeted for a moment until she just let it go, not concentrating on the way she felt instead just concentrating on what she had to do. She turned to him and shrugged, " I try not to fear the things that I can't change, and right now, I know what I need to do. Even if that means confronting one of the oldest monsters in San Francisco." she frowned and ran her hand over the back of her neck, " You know I can't explain a lot of what I see or know. It's just...there. I feel like Morrigan is hovering just at the doors of death, and if we dont' get her soon, we won't get her at all. I don't know how else to explain it." she swallowed down the knot in her throat again and looked up at him, her green eyes calculating, wondering what he might be thinking. Was she crazy? Quite possibly. Did her gift finally push her over the edge, most likely. [break]
" What would I do without you?" she laughed at the idea of them being stupid together, but in truth, they really were making a huge choice here by leaving the safety of camp to go out into the world without even telling anyone. She chewed on her lip for a moment, " Should we have left word with someone or do you think they are just going to think we ran away together never to return?" she made the horrible joke and looked up as he dug in his pocket, when he pulled out his phone she had to smile. Always prepared, that was what she could count on with Sam. " Look at you, the total hero package." she grinned, " Thanks Sam." she walked with him down the hill towards where they were supposed to meet the car. [break]
Kadence nodded, " I do actually. He runs a bed store in downtown." laughter escaped her again and she nodded, " Oh we can most definetely get coffee. I am sure we will pass about thirty two Starbucks between here and the few miles into the city. I could use it just as much as you can I'm sure. Maybe a bagel too." that sounded really good, a bagel with cream cheese, breakfast of champions. The car pulled up and she glanced at Sam as the guy greeted them, she made sure the sticker was on the back window proving he was a driver before sliding into the back seat letting Sam slide in behind her.
Kade sat down and looked out over the view before them. It was not often that she was able to really relax, it seemed that those were the times the visions tended to hit her the hardest. She had prayed to her father more than once, asking him to at least try to make sure they were spread out if they could be managed. She just could only take so much before she started to feel like her head was going to explode from the pain, from seeing the people she cared about in horrible situations. It wasn't an easy thing being an augur, much less, THE augur for Camp Jupiter and New Rome. [break][break]
" Never been the best at the whole relaxing thing." she admitted softly, her long legs kicked out in front of her. " I dont think its every really NORMAL around here. I mean, compared to the outside world we live in a crazy situation. Half of us orphans, the other half have family down in the city, its just a strange place to be in. I just try to find my place, do my job, and pray to the gods that someday one of these stupid visions will be able to help us all." it was what she had expected of her place as the camp Augur, to be able to help them, but so far they just seemed to be inconvienant to her and to the others that had to help her when they knocked her on her butt. [break][break] She shrugged, " I think the only place I could ever truly have a vacation doesn't exist. Somewhere where the visions wouldn't hit me at all, where I could just have some quiet. I feel like the only place that will ever happen would be once I cross over into the underworld and that is far from a vacation destination." she shrugged and moved her legs up against her chest, hugging them tightly to her. " Things going ok in the first cohort? No one trying to kill each other, nothing like that?"
" Mor....MORRIGAN..." she screamed her friends name as she fell, Kadence letting everything fall out of her hands as she moved over to her, placing her hands over her bloody side. " I'm sorry Mor, I am so so sorry! I didnt....oh gods. HELP SOMEBODY!" she was sobbing, hot tears running down her alabaster cheeks as she held her hand over the wound watching Morrigan's eyes slide closed. " No..no no no no no no." she leaned over her, her head on her chest, still hearing her heartbeat, at least that was something. " Just hold on...please don't leave me." she choked out another sob as the door flew open and Kade's eyes flew to see Dareios. [break][break]
He was demanding to know what happened and her eyes were full of fear. " I...no..I.." she was trying to find the words to tell him what had happened. " I was having a vision, somewhere between asleep and awake. It was a bad one and...I, I don't know how it happened but I woke up and I had my dagger in my hand and.." she let out another choked sob as she continued holding her hand over Morrigan's wound. She wiped at her face with her other hand, smearing a little blood across her cheek as she did. " Dareios, I didn't mean to hurt her, you must know that. I love Mor, I would never do anything to hurt her, or you, or the camp." she was at a loss for words, she just wanted to find a healer, find someone to help her. [break][break]
" where are the healers? I don't understand?!" she was shaking as she looked down at Morrigan and frowned knowing she was going to have to get it together and do this herself. She was able to heal too, she was a daughter of apollo after all. " Dareios, put your hand over the wound, just...just slip it under mine. I'm going to do this myself.." she swallowed down the knot in her throat, fear evident in her face as she looked down at her blonde friend. " Just hold on Mor, please."
[attr="class","THREAD1BLCONTENT"] The sight of him leaning against the counter with a pasta box in hand just made her smile. It was a dangerous notion, Dareios Bane in the kitchen, but there they were. It was going to make for an interesting night, but at least she was there if he set anything on fire. Her eyes darted to the fire extinguisher with a teasing grin on her face before turning back to him. " Then maybe you should stop being such a big, scary, praetor." she laughed a little and moved further into the room. Clearly he hadn't started anything yet since there was no smoke. Hearing the pasta shaking in the box, she looked around until she found a pot they could boil some water in. [break][break]
" well at least you have me to help this time." she started filling the pot with water and set it on the stove, lighting the fire beneath it. " I will at least try to keep you from bsurning it to the ground." heading back to get their glasses as she handed one off to him and she smiled as he slid the box her way. " Cheers." she sipped her own drink and let the water start heating as she glanced around, " we should put a little salt in the water." she grabbed the shaker and added just a little to it. [break][break]
" I will take it, though I would prefer no skewering. I rather like breathing." when he set the cutting board and the knife down she moved to grab some little cherry tomatoes, onions, garlic and brought them over to him. " Gee thanks. Good to know I look as crappy as I feel." she sighed and went over to the pantry and found a small can of tomato sauce that she could use as a base for the sauce. She bit her lip and glanced at him, " Do I really look that bad?" she figured she did but it was still a little painful hearing it from him. [break][break]
Kadence had had a crush on the praetor for a long time, though she had been far too afraid to ever say anything about it. He was one of the few who she allowed to help her when she needed it, not knowing who in this camp she could actually trust. They had to work closely together, along with Morrigan, and she trusted him implicitly. " Ok, so here we go." she handed him the little bowl with all the things she needed him to cut up. " Garlic, onion, and tomatoes. I'm going to get another pan and have you cut these up, pretty small I'd say about.." she showed him with her fingers about how big to cut them up. " Then we will put them in with this sauce." she thought it over, " I guess I should have asked, do you prefer meat in your sauce? I dont' know that any would be able to be cooked, its likely all frozen.." she stood beside him, checking the water which was steaming but not boiling yet. [break][break]
Finding the sauce pan she poured the tomato sauce into it dug through the spices finding a few that they could use and set it next to him. " do you prefer it to have a little kick or more of a kind of tangy taste?" she had some red pepper flakes in her hand in case he wanted to make it spicy, but she didn't have a preference herself. " So um, I had another vision earlier, probably why I'm looking like crap." she swallowed down the knot in her throat and grabbed her soda sipping from it. " You were in this one, again."
[attr="class","THREAD1BLTAG"] WORDS (optional) @daerios
Sam was one of her best friends, but she knew that he was going so that he could try to protect her. She wasn't stupid, she knew he was going to be protective, and she loved him for that, but she also didn't want something to happen to him. If it did, then that was one more thing weighing on her conscious, one more bit of pain she had caused people that meant the world to her. It was almost too much for her to bear. Though she also knew if she even bothered with arguing with him anymore that it was just not going to get them anywhere. She was going to have to just suck it up. He was going to have to come with her, or she was going to have to turn back. The second, was not an option. [break][break]
" If you thought it would keep me from doing something, then yeah, you probably would." she was totally half hearted in the answer, knowing full well that he wouldn't. He would try to talk her out of it, but snitch? Never. She sighed as he caught up to her and glanced over at him. " What no hot date tonight?" she smiled a little hoping that she really wasn't keeping him from doing something that he needed to. " I was planning to go to Procrustes, he knows about the underworld and I think he can help us get Morrigan's soul back to her body. She's in that bed because of me Sam, and I have to fix it. I just have to." she swallowed down the knot in her throat and looked up at him, expecting him to tell her she was crazy. Nothing new for her really. [break][break]
Seeing the city below them when they stepped through the tunnel she took a deep breath. She had not been out of the safety of the camp since she got there. " The last time I was out of camp I was with Lupa." she looked up at Sam. " Kind of scary now that I'm out here." she pulled her jacket tighter around her body trying to keep herself in check. " You don't have to come with me if you think I'm being stupid. You know that right?" she chewed on her bottom lip as she saw the lights of San Francisco out in front of them making the night sky glow with an amber light. [break][break]
Licking her lips she took her first step into the world outside of the camp boundaries. " Ok..so first mistake, I didn't think of our transportation problems. Should we take a cab? Would that even be safe?" she wasn't sure if he had been out of camp anymore than she had. Maybe this was a bad idea, but she wasn't going to let it stop her. She couldn't let it stop her.
" Yeah, ok thanks." she was trying so hard to be well, normal. It was hard, and the Greeks had been giving her a hard time. Noah had to intervene when they started shoving her around at the stupid bonfire they wanted to have. Leave it to children of the god of war to give her a hard time. She had done nothing to deserve it, they just were doing things like calling her a freak and wanting her to 'tell them their future' like that was how her power worked. It was not a comfortable situation, and Noah had lost it. Thankfully things deescalated but it was still difficult going there for awhile. [break][break] " Yes, and I don't have a problem with them, not really, I just can't keep in control with all these new people and the change in the dynamic since they arrived. With all the new potential situations its gotten harder." she shrugged and decided to sit down, enjoy the quiet for a bit even though she would likely do better just to go back to her room. It was the one place she really felt like was her sanctuary. Even the temple wasn't enough for that. [break][break]
" Maybe I need to take a vacation." she laughed a little bit at the mere idea of it. Her, on a beach far away from there. A certain praetor at her side, but someone there that could acutally cook and not set the kitchen on fire. It was a dream, but that was not going to happen, at least not anytime soon. He was too busy and she was needed, she was the one that would let them know if something terrible as on the horizon, it was her job, and she needed to do it.

" I see that, I just feel terrible. I am normally much better at this. I mean, my dad is Apollo for the gods sake. I should be great at archery, and I usually am. Its just that stupid string." she clenched her jaw shut finally, knowing she was talking too much. She was going to do her best just to shut up and not keep making an idiot out of herself. Between being on the welcoming crew and the camp augur she had a lot on her plate, and the visions normally knocking her on her butt just kept her from being as social as she really should be with her fellow romans. [break][break]
" Yes i suppose it is one way, though I guess there never really is silence in my head, thanks for that dad." she sighed and wrapped the bow string around the end of the bow and draped it over her back. She would have to fix it properly tonight, probably after dinner, barring any more headaches. She shrugged at the question and looked around. Truth be told, she didn't have a very good reason for being all the way out here other than the need to be away from her usual spots for awhile. [break][break]
" Honestly, since the Greeks arrived, any time I'm too near a bunch of people the visions hit harder than ever before, and its easier for me to be away from everyone. I've been keeping my distance from most people, with very few exceptions." some she actually preferred to be near, because if she was going to have a vision she would rather be near the people that knew how to help her though it. Dareios, Sam, Noah, Morrigan, they were the people she trusted the most in this camp, and the ones that she knew would help her when she needed it.

Standing in front of the sink she had scrubbed her hands until they were raw. The blood from Morrigan had stained them and now she very much felt like Lady MacBeth, out, out dammed spot. She had dried tears on her cheeks, and it had taken a lot for her to leave Morrigan's side, but mostly, she was just blaming herself. Not only for stabbing Mor, but for everything. If the visions would just stop, if she knew how to fix things, none of this would have happened. MOrrigan would not be in a coma, Dareious wouldn't have been upset and having to run things alone at the moment, and she wouldn't have hurt two people she loved more than life itself. She had had enough, of it was time she did something about it. [break][break]
Two days later, she had a plan, she was going to go and find something to help Morrigan, she would go into the Underworld and get her out herself if she had to. She was not going to let this happen, not going to let the legion suffer because their augur had stabbed a praetor. No. She was not going to let it happen. She was back in her room, having finally been released from the infirmary, but she had not slept since. Kade just couldn't sleep when she knew that Mor was back at the infirmary in a damm coma because of her, and her stupid visions. She took a sip from her water glass and looked up at the ceiling " you think for once father you could maybe NOT let something like this happen? JUST FREAKING ONCE?" she was letting her anger consume her, she knew that, but she couldn't take it anymore. Throwing the glass hard against the wall it shattered into a million pieces, the last bit of water streaming down the wall in little rivers. [break][break]
Grabbing her bag she shoved some things she thought she might need into it, her dagger sat on her desk and she glared at it. She knew she should take it, shouldn't go unarmed, but its last target had just happened to be one of her best friends. " poop.." she mumbled but grabbed it anyway, shoving it into its sheath and then into her bag. She really should bring a bow, but that would be way too obvious. Especially as she had every intention of sneaking out. Pulling on her jeans, boots a top and black leather jacket she quickly pulled her long red locks up into a high pony tail. Glancing at herself in the mirror she sighed at the dark circles under her eyes. Nothing to do for it, not right now anyway. [break][break]
Now was the getting out without anyone Dareios figuring out she was leaving on some potentially life changing mission. She had to get Morrigan back though, no matter the price. She didn't deserve this, she didn't deserve to be stabbed just because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kade was going to fix it, she had to. Slipping out of her place she headed up the path making it look like she was going to the temple, that would not be at all unusual if someone saw her. Though as she reached the steps she glanced around quickly then took a sharp right, heading for the tunnel to get the Hades out of there and find the help she needed. There was a shop downtown where a monster knew a lot about the underworld, and that was where she was heading. That was until she heard her name as she slipped into the tunnel. [break][break]
Sighing, she rolled her eyes and looked back, " No, Sam, go back. I have to do this. Don't you dare go tell Dareios either." she hitched her bag up on her shoulder and started walking again, hearing him coming right after her, " You really aren't going to let this go are you?"
It was a good day for once, she had spent time at the temple for awhile, praying to her father before going to training which was something she had not been able to do for awhile. The Greeks arrival had made it very hard on her, the visions coming almost constantly and it was driving her mad. While the peace in her mind lasted, she wanted to make the most of it. She went for a ride that morning, her horse running across the Fields of Mars and top speed, the wind in her red hair, the coolness on her face, it all made her feel like she could let everything else go for once and just enjoy herself.
After, she decided it would be a good time to get her bow out, it had been awhile and her arms were sore after a quiver worth of arrows, but she kept at it for another round, though her string snapped and an arrow flew far from where she had been aiming flying right past another girls face. " OH gods!" she ran over quickly and seeing that it was Estelle apologized quickly. " I am so sorry. My string broke. Are you alright?" she bit her lip feeling like absolute crap for almost hitting the other girl. It could have been very bad had that happened.
" I'm not normally so accident prone. It's just been awhile since I've been able to properly train and I'm trying to over do it." she sighed and ran a hand through her hair. " I really am sorry." she couldn't stop apologizing. Her face was flushed, she just felt so embarassed by all of it. " So um, what are you doing out here all by yourself?"
