Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

The visions had been hitting her more and more since the Greeks had arrived at Camp Jupiter. It was horrible, and she was so exhausted. It was wearing her down completely and she couldn't do anything about it. After the last one, Daerios had carried her to the infirmary because she was so worn down she could barely move. She had nothing against the Greeks but this was really ridiculous. She had been in the infirmary for a few days now so they could make sure she was getting some rest. A camper who was a child of Hypnos had helped her a few times, helping her fall into a deep sleep. Her head was pounding, they had given her a little ambrosia but it was still not seeming to die down. She fell asleep after awhile again, but as she did so, another vision came to her, this one more vivid than any had been yet, feeling like it was very real. Hades, it felt real to her, like she was there.
She was in the middle of the Fields of Mars, the buildings of the camp were all on fire and there were just a few of them left in the middle of the field. Herself, Morrigan, Dareios and Mateo, all standing back to back, bodies of campers littering the field around them as huge shapes moved in towards them. She couldn't see what they were, only that they were huge, and coming in at them at a sluggish pace, but she could feel the power in them. She had her dagger on her as she always did and a bow at her back but she was out of arrows. She was down to one weapon, the others along with her had cuts and bruises and other matter of injuires. They were outnumbered. She glanced at the praetors, feeling Mateo at her back and her hands were shaking as something descended on them. She couldn't see what it was but then they attacked, and she automatically went in to stab the looming shape over her. Feeling her dagger hit its target, but she also felt something grab her hand and that was when her eyes flew open.
Morrigan stood over her, pain on her face and Kade looked down, feeling something warm on her hand. She had stabbed Morrigan. Morrigan who had only come to check on her. Her friend, a confidant and someone she respected greatly. Crying out for help, Kade dropped her dagger to the floor and grabbed the sheet she had been under, pressing it into Morrigans side that she had stabbed. " Gods, Morrigan I am so so sorry!" she cried out for help again, " Somebody help, please!" she searched frantically and saw the ambrosia they had left at her bedside for when she woke up. " Here...here take this...please." tears were streaming down her cheeks and she looked up as the healers came running in to help them.
Morrigan was exhausted. Every day seemed to bring a new list of responsibilities and problems. She had tried to keep an open mind, had tried to be diplomatic and reasonable, but there was no denying that the Greeks had brought their bad luck along with their arrival. The barrier had begun developing holes along their border. Training schedules and classes had been stretched to the max with Centurions having to fill in regularly. Border patrols were now around the clock with the Praetors themselves having to fill rotation. Tension was at an all-time high among the legionnaires and the Greeks brought their own list of headaches of course. Then there was Kadence, their auger.
The girl was having near-constant visions and headaches. The last one had sent her to the infirmary where she had stayed which had been shocking news. Morrigan couldn't remember the last time Kadence had been so attacked and ridden with visions. They weren't normal ones either, ones that warned of small things around camp. No, the ones she had been having lately sent chills down Morrigan's spine. She had meant to head over immediately in the morning to check on her.
Then a monster had attacked an arriving group of Greeks at the tunnel. There had apparently been chaos during the exchange and in the confusion there were Romans who were down as well. She had sent all of the available medics to the tunnel to assist before ensuring the beast was killed. That had been three hours ago. It hadn't just been one creature, but two. After doing what she could, she let the medics begin their work. Morrigan then made her way to the Infirmary, better late than never she mused.
The building was all but empty and she found Kadence almost immediately. Her eyes were closed and Morrigan thought about leaving her alone and letting her rest, but the girl's brows furrowed in her sleep. Morrigan stepped closer and the girl made a small whimpering sound, her mouth pulling into a frown. Morrigan closed the distance and hesitantly touched her arm. She had never been the best at comforting people, but she also knew she couldn't just let her alone to face whatever was plaguing her in her sleep. "Kadence? It's just a-"
Quicker than a heartbeat and the girl lunged from the bed. Morrigan saw the flash of a blade a fraction of a second before it was plunged into her stomach. She gasped at the pain and shock. Her training kicking in, knowing that it was good that the blade was still there. If she could get to a medic she might have a fighting chance. The thought didn't matter though as Kadence awoke, pulling the blade out, the metal clattering to the floor. Morrigan cried out in pain, her hand moving to the bleeding wound as she stumbled back and fell.
She heard Kadence scream for a medic but knew it was pointless. Morrigan felt warm tears on her cheeks as she tried breathing through the pain. She tried telling Kade it was all going to be okay, but she couldn't make any words come out. The pain began to slowly ebb away and she knew that was not a good sign. Morrigan tried sitting up, taking advantage of the numbness but her hand slipped in the wet liquid that was flowing from the wound and she couldn't force her body to cooperate further.
The pain was almost completely gone, replaced by a warm sleepiness that quickly began to spread through her body. She was almost certain she heard footsteps as she closed her eyes, letting the sleep take her.
Dareios was running as fast as he could, his black combat boots stomping against the ground. He was in the middle of a training lesson but as soon as a messenger delivered the note to him he dropped everything and just ran. Beads of sweat collected on his forehead, dashing from one side of the camp to the other.[break][break]
He burst through the entrance of the infirmary about to ask where they were when he heard the sobbing and gasping from the area where the cots were. His eyes first found the red curls of Kade, following her gaze down to the still body of Morrigan, his co-praetor, laying on the floor. [break][break]
He started looking around for a healer but to his surprise - or rather shock - there was no one around. Where did they all go? Wasn't it a rule to always have at least one healer stationed at the infirmary in case something like this happens? He made a mental note to have a bit of a talk to whoever was on duty.[break][break]
The scene he stumbled into didn't make any sense to him. Morrigan down? Never would he have thought to see that. From his viewpoint, she looked alright until he moved around to stand next to Kade and he finally spotted the blotch of scarlet that tinted her camp t-shirt, marking the wound. [break][break]
"What happened?" he asked Kade, not taking his gaze off of the blonde. His voice was calm, demanding but calm. "What happened?" he repeated, feeling impatient. "Did someone attack you?" He couldn't make sense of what he was seeing, of what could have happened. An intruder or someone else who could be held responsible for this mess was the only way, the only explanation he wanted to hear. Because he would hunt that person down and make sure they were never going to see the light of the day again.[break][break]
" Mor....MORRIGAN..." she screamed her friends name as she fell, Kadence letting everything fall out of her hands as she moved over to her, placing her hands over her bloody side. " I'm sorry Mor, I am so so sorry! I didnt....oh gods. HELP SOMEBODY!" she was sobbing, hot tears running down her alabaster cheeks as she held her hand over the wound watching Morrigan's eyes slide closed. " No..no no no no no no." she leaned over her, her head on her chest, still hearing her heartbeat, at least that was something. " Just hold on...please don't leave me." she choked out another sob as the door flew open and Kade's eyes flew to see Dareios. [break][break]
He was demanding to know what happened and her eyes were full of fear. " I...no..I.." she was trying to find the words to tell him what had happened. " I was having a vision, somewhere between asleep and awake. It was a bad one and...I, I don't know how it happened but I woke up and I had my dagger in my hand and.." she let out another choked sob as she continued holding her hand over Morrigan's wound. She wiped at her face with her other hand, smearing a little blood across her cheek as she did. " Dareios, I didn't mean to hurt her, you must know that. I love Mor, I would never do anything to hurt her, or you, or the camp." she was at a loss for words, she just wanted to find a healer, find someone to help her. [break][break]
" where are the healers? I don't understand?!" she was shaking as she looked down at Morrigan and frowned knowing she was going to have to get it together and do this herself. She was able to heal too, she was a daughter of apollo after all. " Dareios, put your hand over the wound, just...just slip it under mine. I'm going to do this myself.." she swallowed down the knot in her throat, fear evident in her face as she looked down at her blonde friend. " Just hold on Mor, please."
The scene that unfolded in the small room at the Infirmary almost felt like a dream, an illusion even. To be frank, Dareios was eager to take an illusion created by some gifted demigod rather than the harsh reality he was soon going to be confronted with. As he entered the room he immediately scanned it for threats and danger but the only people he could see were Kade and Morrigan. From what he saw it looked like his co-Praetor had been attacked. He did not like that thought.[break][break]
Kade was having difficulties finding the words, stuttering, and pausing too many times. "Kade, just tell me. If anyone was her-" Dareios instantly stopped mid-sentence when she told him about the dagger. His anger faded partly because he could never be angry at Kade. His eyes flicked to Morrigan on the floor and her wound was inflicted by the aforementioned dagger. It didn’t need a genius to add one plus one. He dropped down to one knee next to Morrigan, eyes narrowing at the blood-soaked shirt. [break][break]
"I know. I know that Kade." he attempted to offer some resemblance of reassurance. He wasn’t sure if it helped because that had always been Morrigan's part of the job. She was the strategist, the mastermind behind everything. Dareios was more like… the brute force, fear, and dread part of the duo. Swallowing, but trying to keep calm and a cool head, he listened to Kade and slipped his hand under hers, applying pressure on the entry wound. [break][break]
"The healers were called out just moments ago. I passed them rushing towards the stables. An accident with two unicorns and a bunch of injured Greeks who didn’t expect the bladed horns." he told her, eyes fixed on Morrigan. In any other situation, he would have laughed at it, at the Graeci, at their stupidity, but there was no time and no reason to laugh now. This situation was more than just plain serious. [break][break]
"What are you planning to do?" he asked her, a hint of nervosity slipping past the calm of his voice. He felt the warmth of Morrigan's blood against his skin, his hand slipping for a moment but within a second he had it secured back in place. "I dare you to leave me, Morrigan."[break][break]
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] The tears would not stop streaming down her cheeks as she looked up at Dareios. It was an awful situation that she had not seen coming, which only made her more angry and upset. Had she known that this was coming, that she was going to possibly snuff out the life of her friend because of a stupid vision? She never would have let them take her to the infirmary. She would have insisted they put her somewhere that she would never be able to hurt Morrigan. "I'm so sorry." she felt absolutely awful for all of this. She was losing her mind over it, not sure if she had just killed one of her best friends or not, which was enough to make anyone go mad.
She waited for Dareios to put his hand under hers, and she slipped away to grab what she could to at least get things started before the other healers got there. "Graecus..." she growled under her breath as she grabbed some herbs of Noah's some gauze and a few other things and set them all down beside Morrigan and Dareios. Kneeling back down beside him she turned her gaze to his face for a moment, "Going to do whatever it takes to save her. I hope so. I mean, my dad may have cursed me with these gods forsaken visions, but I can do a little healing too, at least until someone else can get here to help."
Kade licked her lips and took a deep breath as she looked over at him again, "I'm not going to let her leave us." she grabbed some of the gauze and took one more deep breath, "ok, you can move your hand." Once he did she pressed the gauze over the wound and found some of the herbs and salve and applied it to the wound before applying more gauze to try to keep it all together. "Crap, can you see if you can find some tape to keep this in place?" she kept it in place with her hand for now. "Then we will need to get her onto the bed. I don't need to get back in it..."
The Praetor’s head was spinning as he took his place next to Morrigan. Hazel eyes flicked nervously between her face, eyes closed, skin pale, too pale for it to be a good sign, and the scarlet spot on her shirt. The blood seemed to never endingly seep through the fabric, the puddle next to her growing bigger and bigger by the minute despite their joint efforts to keep the wound under control. It didn’t seem to be working yet he continued to keep his hand pressed against it, ignoring the strong metallic scent hovering around him.[break][break]
He knew it wasn’t Kade’s fault… she shouldn’t be blamed for it, but still, he couldn’t help the anger that was threatening to rise up inside of him, forming a tight knot in his throat. It was the hatred against the Greeks that was more overpowering. Dareios had no issues blaming them for everything. If it weren’t for them, these intruders, then Kade might never have had this fatal vision. If it weren’t for them then the healers would be available instead of being out to take care of the mess they made. The messes they continuously keep making. He swallowed hard, glancing over to the Augur, his lips a hard line.[break][break]
His expression was a wild mix of worry, anger, coldness, an ever-changing portrait of emotions. He nodded as she told him that she would try to heal her and moved his hand accordingly when he was told to do so. "Tape?" he repeated, rising to his feet. Dareios brushed his blood-stained hands on his clothes before venturing around the Infirmary to find some tape or anything sticky he could find. Drawer after drawer he pulled open with perhaps a little too much force, however, there was no time to waste by being careful. He didn’t care that he was creating a mess, that drawers weren’t pushed back in and just left open. Noah could take care of this later and scold him as much as he would like… if he dared to.[break][break]
After what felt like way too long he finally found something that looked like medical tape, taking it with him to Kade and handing it to her. The brunet nodded once more, taking the redhead’s orders without complaints, as he stepped back over to Morrigan. He knelt down, not minding the blood that stained his clothes even more, and slid his arms under the motionless body of his co-Praetor before lifting her up and onto the next bed. Careful not to cause the wound to get worse he, as gently as he could, put her down on the clean sheets. "Are you sure you can do this? If not we can call for someone else-" He didn't want to doubt Kade, he certainly shouldn't considering the situation they were in, but seeing how bad it was he couldn't necessarily make peace with a simple try. [break][break]
Kade was almost on auto pilot. She was moving quickly, doing everything she could to ensure that Morrigan was going to be safe. The main thing she wanted to do was to ensure that she stopped bleeding and that she was comfortable. At least until someone else could come in and help do more. She felt absolutely like the biggest failure at the moment. How had she not seen this coming? How was it that the one time she really needed to see a vision, that she didn't? What if Morrigan died? It would be a huge problem or the camp, losing a praetor that had been in this position for so long? It would be devastating. Kade didn't have many friends, and losing Mor would rip her heart out.
The look on Dareios' face said it all, and she was sure her own echoed some of those emotions. She was very upset, mostly at herself. The idea that she was the cause of this was enough to make her even more dead set on saving her friend. No matter the cost, she would do it. Her heart was racing in her chest as she moved as fast as she could, doing everything she could to stop the flow of the blood. Luckily, it seemed some of that magic that Noah put into his salves was making a difference and she nodded as Dareios repeated what she asked for. " Yes. Need to keep this in place as best as we can, then hopefully Noah can take over and do more for her. This is at least a good start." she said a silent prayer to her father, asking for his guidance, his help to heal her praetor.
When Dareios brought it to her she quickly taped down the gauze and let Dareios lift her up onto the bed that Kade had vacated. At his question her green eyes snapped up to his and she nodded, trying to reassure him as she spoke with every ounce of reassurance she could muster. " Dareios, I can do this. I have to." she searched his eyes, hoping that he could believe in her, because if he didn't then it would just shatter her confidence. Pursing her lips she looked back down at Morrigan and moved to grab a few more things, letting the feeling that she had, her fathers guidance perhaps, move her where she needed to be. She worked over the wound as fast as she could, following her instincts, and when she was finished she looked up at Morrgian's face before cleaning the area around the wound and pulling the blankets up over her.
Swallowing down the lump in her throat she pushed some of the blonde hair that had fallen across Morrigan's face back, and sank down to the chair beside the bed. Wiping at her hands absentmindedly with a cloth, she didn't even really seem to be getting the blood off of them, it was just something she could do in that moment. Tears were falling down her cheeks again and she frowned, looking over at Dareios. " I am so sorry. I know I keep saying that but...I am. I should have known this was coming. I should have seen it." she swallowed thickly. She knew that this was a huge deal, an attack on a praetor was not something that could be brushed aside. Even when it was an accident. " Should call a meeting of the senate, I know that I need to be called in for disciplinary action."
