Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Morrigan's eyes found Donovan's. Fear was causing her body to tremble. There was no fear of pain, nor fear of never escaping the underworld. She looked down for a moment at the hand that she held firmly onto. The hand that was a steadying presence against the nerves that were threatening to unravel her. It was that steadying presence that made her afraid. Afraid of stepping through the void and losing him. Afraid of letting go and never seeing him again. There were so many things that could go wrong.
Her mind had launched into a counter-attack of the plan ahead. Working through every horrible scenario that could come to be and what she would need to do. Before she could spin out further, Donovan squeezed her hand, pulling her from her thoughts. He gave her a half-grin before leaning in to kiss her. Just like that, the thoughts vanished. How he knew what she needed before she did was beyond her understanding but she had grown accustomed to it. The way he seemed to read her, to know her as if they had known one another their whole lives.
Their lips parted and she opened her eyes, giving him a soft smile. They could do this. The hard part was over. All they had to do was walk forward. She looked ahead, steeling her nerves. "Together. One. Two. Three." Her hand gripped his as she had stepped forward.
The darkness swallowed them whole. Her stomach feeling as if she had taken a 100ft freefall. Then his hand was not in hers. As if it had never been in hers. Fear ran ice cold in her veins before suddenly it grew warmer and warmer. Sensations came quickly, the feeling of her body lying in a bed coming into her understanding.
Morrigan's eyes opened, a bright light blinding her. She put her hand to her face, blocking it as she tried blinking rapidly before her vision cleared. She sat up, hearing the sounds of somewhere familiar bleed into her hearing. She looked around. The Infirmary. She was back at camp. Back in the land of the living. She turned her head left and right. He wasn't there. "Donovan?" Her hands began to shake. "No. No. No." She shook her head as a medic came running to her. He had to be here. They had done everything right. "Where is he? Did anyone else arrive?"
As much as she had hoped to help Morrigan on her trip into the city with Sam, she had failed. The more she felt like she tried, the more it seemed she just was losing. It was driving her mad. All her visions, all the gifts that her father had bestowed on her and her siblings and still none of them could heal her, wake her up. It was heart breaking and Kadence was having a hard go of it. She was certain that Dareios completely blamed her for this, and that only made it hurt worse. She had the utmost respect for her praetors, and her heart broke knowing that the one that she had found herself falling for over the years, (though she was too stubborn and scared to say anything), was stressed and overworked because of what she had done. Kadence knew that Morrigan was not going to hold a grudge against her, WHEN she woke up, because Kade knew, deep in her very soul, that she was going to wake up again.
She had been in the temple all morning, praying to her father, asking for his help. Asking for him to show her what to do, but as usual there was just this dark shadow in her mind, and the doors of death. She didn't understand it and she was getting beyond frustrated. Throwing her goblet of water across the room she screamed in annoyance. All he could show her was a fuzzy shape of a shadow and the doors? That's it? What the Hades kind of vision was that? She ran out of the temple in her irritated state and headed back towards the infirmary.
Lately, that had been where she spent much of her days when she was not in training or at the temple. She was getting very little sleep, because she didn't want Morrigan to be alone. Not that she ever was, the healers were always flitting around her. Heading into the room she had sat in the chair by Morrigan's bed, her green eyes on her friend, willing her to awaken. Her eyes had started to grow heavy when she heard her voice. " Morrigan?" she didn't understand what she was asking for, didn't recognize the name she had asked about. " I don't...no one came through with you Morrigan, you just woke up..." the healers came running and she took a step back to stay out of the way.
Dareios leaned over one of the tables inside the infirmary, multiple books lay open on the wooden surface. Only a few of them were about modern medicine, while the rest were written in Latin, containing information about diverse ancient healing rituals and quite a lot of dark stuff that made even the Praetor of Camp Jupiter shudder a little bit. He had personally scurried through the camp library, the one place that was rarely used by the two of them, to see if he could find anything useful.[break][break]
He was impatiently flipping through the pages before closing the most recent book a little harder than he was supposed to. Some of these were so old, they were threatening to fall apart in his hands. Knowing better, and knowing the children of Trivia, he tried to keep the damage to the minimum. For a moment he fidgeted with a piece of lavender when Noah appeared with a cup of tea. He begrudgingly accepted the mug, fingers curling around the warm ceramic. Dareios didn’t even like tea but he needed to keep his hands busy, and holding on to a mug was smarter than holding on to a sword which he might end up running through someone. Hazel eyes squinted at the brown-green liquid, the strong scent of herbs intruding his nose. [break][break]
Unsure whether or not he actually wanted to take a sip from it he moved away from the table, giving his eyes a break from the words and letters that seemed to slowly start swimming in his vision. A short break was all he could afford or wanted to at least because as long as Morrigan was still in this peculiar state he wouldn’t pause looking for something to help. The Praetor was in the middle of a conversation with the healer when he heard voices from the other room. He had seen Kade go inside but no one else was in there, still, he heard two sets of voices leaking through the curtains… and there was only one other person in there – Morrigan.[break][break]
The brunet dropped the mug as he hurried towards the voices, pulling the thin fabric aside upon entering. His eyes first found Kade, her red hair as vibrant as ever, and then they found Morrigan… sitting up on her bed. A heavy sigh of relief escaped his lips, hazel eyes slightly wide in surprise and shock. “You’re awake…” he breathed, unable to keep the surprise out of his tone. He strode over to the bed, running a hand through his hair. “Gods, Morrigan. You really scared us... me. You know how hard it is to achieve that.” [break][break]
Morrigan heard a familiar voice say her name and she turned. Kade was near, on a chair, and Morrigan's heart broke. She couldn't think about that though, at least not at the moment. All thoughts were on the person who was not here. The person who was missing. The one who promised he'd be there. Kade said that she just woke up and Morrigan tried to swallow down the fear. "No. He has to be here. A Greek boy, son of Thanatos. We breached the veil together."
The curtain parted and Morrigan's eyes widened, hope that Donovan would be there. Instead her eyes landed upon Dareios. Hope relenting not into disappointment but comfort. The appearance of her co-praetor easing the slight panic she had begun to feel. A small smile came to her lips at the mention of scaring them. "I'm sorry. How long have I been out?" Her eyes moved past them for a moment, to the people moving about around the Infirmary. Not a one of them being Donovan.
She had to stop looking. She had to put him out of her mind or else she was liable to break down and she absolutely could not afford that. At least not there in that room. Instead she forced herself to put her attention on Kade. "Tell me you haven't been here long." A line of concern forming between her brows. She hoped the girl hadn't felt compelled to sit by her side from guilt or anything else of the sort. It had been an accident. Pure and simple as that. Morrigan sat up in the bed. There was no pain, though she was certain there would be a scar where the blade had gone in. "What about Camp? Anything worth noting since I … went under?"
She wasn't exactly sure how else to describe it. She wanted to make it clear that she did not, in any way, blame Kade. Every footstep near the room caused her attention to pull towards it. She told her mind to focus on the camp. To focus on the job that she needed to get back to. Her traitorous heart however couldn't get with the program. She couldn't ignore the feeling that told her that he was going to make it. That he would carry through with his promise to her. He had to. She couldn't stomach the alternative.
