Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

This will most likely only apply to a handful of people. He's not a very trusting person but once you do earn his trust he's very loyal and will protect you with his life. His biggest weakness is food so bonus points if you try to bribe him with pizza. Dar surely isn't the most popular guy at camp, mostly because he's quite strict and likes to yell at others.

Sam never had any issues making friends. He's the kind of guy to randomly walk up to someone and start a conversation, although most of the time people used to come to him first. Back in school, it was mostly because they knew of his status and wealth, thus, he had a lot of fake friends. Not that he cares much about that. Most of his siblings are in this category.

Noah is one of the healers and camp's personal therapist. If there's anything you need or want to talk about, hit him up! He's kind and friendly, a warm person in general, just like the sun - his father's symbol. Considering his kind and caring nature he has a lot of friends, although maybe just a few close ones. His siblings are his family and he would do everything for them.

There's always someone who hates nice people. Uh, he hates bullies and won't tolerate any fighting in or near the infirmary. As a centurion, he's generally against anyone who causes trouble on purpose and picks on others.

A literal heartbreaker he could be popular with girls but will most likely keep his distance? I can see some feeling attraction after he helped them with injuries or something but that's just his job after all. He's not always in control of his powers so he might be a little afraid of literally crushing your heart.

His right hand hovered over the hilt of his Spatha but he waited for the silhouette to get closer before he would make his decision. Stepping out of the shadows he revealed himself, mirroring the person in front of him and halting in his tracks. He heard his names being uttered by a voice that sounded too familiar and too painful to bear. Even after all this time, just those three letters leaving her lips was like someone continuously stabbed his ears with both flowers and needles.
As they both stood under the light of the moon he could see her more clearly, stepping just a little closer towards her. "Hmph." That was all that he said in response. He didn’t respond with her name. He knew it would leave a bitter aftertaste on his tongue if he did. The sweet taste of honey had changed into something fouler. He wasn’t proud of it, but he couldn’t help it either and no matter how much he wanted her name to just be the same as it used to be… it wouldn’t change anything anyway.
Taking in her full form he gave her a once over, indifferent eyes glancing up and down before he raised one dark eyebrow at her question. He straightened his back, lifting his chin a little. "I've become a fan of hiking," he simply said as if it was the most normal thing in the world to be wandering around in the middle of nowhere in front of a seemingly abandoned tunnel with no traffic around whatsoever. "I could ask you the same though. You never struck me much as the hiking type." Sam tilted his head softly to the side, looking over her shoulder to see if there was anyone else but it seemed that she was traveling alone with nothing more than a backpack slung over her shoulder.
His second eyebrow joined as they arched up together. He parted his lips as to say something but paused for a moment. There was thunder inside his head, an imaginary storm brewing in his mind the longer he stood there with Mira right in front of him. Never would he have expected her to suddenly appear in front of him. Not after all these years and surely not in front of Camp Jupiter. There was no way he could or would, for that matter, explain to her, a mortal, the real reason why he was standing in front of an abandoned tunnel. "What are you doing here in the middle of the night? A little far from home, don't you think?"
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] The news about one of their praetors being unconscious and in some kind of magical coma state spread like greek fire. And it reached Sam's ears even faster since Morrigan was his half-sister. No one really knew what was going on or how this could have been possible but it already happened and there was seemingly nothing to be done about it. Or at least that's what they were told. Children of Apollo and Trivia took a look at the situation but they said all that was left was hoping for the best. If there was one thing Sam never did was to hope because he never wanted his hopes to be shattered into pieces so better not hope at all from the get-go.
Then there were others who were clinging to hope as their only source of strength. Hazel eyes watched the augur made her way towards the path leading up to Temple Hill, but when she didn't continue that path as he had thought because praying to their parents and the other gods was a normal thing to do for demigods, Sam decided to follow her. Kadence wasn't usually much of a troublemaker but tonight he had a feeling that she might be one in the making after all that happened.
Sam thought she was going to New Rome, maybe ask someone there if they could help, but he followed her all the way to the tunnel, one of the other entrances and exits of camp. "Kade!" he called out, his voice echoing through the damp tunnel. He came to a stop, listening to her, and scratched the back of his neck. "Uh, Dareios really is the last person I want to talk to no matter the topic. And really? You think I would snitch on you?" He was a tiny bit offended by it and it took a good two seconds before he continued walking behind her.
Kade was easy to catch up to and with a little jog, he was falling into step right next to her. "I don't know where you're going but I'm not letting you go alone. Good for you I didn't have any plans for tonight. So-" he said, turning his head to look at the road ahead of them as they walked out of the tunnel, the city in the distance under the hills. "Where are we going?"
[attr="class","THREAD11CONTENT"] One of the reasons Sam preferred training on the Fields of Mars rather than the Ludus Magnus, their arena, was because he needed the space and it was by far safer for other campers in case his powers went a little astray. There was enough chaos since the arrival of the Greeks so there was no need for him to accidentally wipe out his fellow demigods by either frying them or sending them flying into oblivion.
The Fields of Mars were abandoned and empty, thank the gods. He couldn’t have bothered to find somewhere else to train. He dropped a variety of training weapons on the grass as well as a small duffel bag filled with water and cereal bars in case he needed a quick energy boost. Dipping his head back he looked at the sky, no clouds hovering above him in his father’s realm. As much as he liked the forever-summer weather inside Camp Jupiter sometimes he wished for a storm or just plain rain to use an amplifier for his powers.
Sam always felt a little down, more tired and exhausted being stuck in this perfect weather limbo. Some days he would just sneak out, either through the tunnel or the woods, to get through the wards and right into a storm. Other kids were usually afraid of thunder and lightning but he loved it, loved the sound of heavy rain slamming into the windows, thunder crashing between the thick, dark clouds. Those days he was often to be found outside, standing in the middle of it all in just a t-shirt and shorts but he welcomed it, knew it was somehow a part of him.
He gave it a small shrug. There was nothing to be done and he wasn’t feeling like wasting his energy on calling up a mild storm which would also get him into lots of trouble with his centurions and praetors. So he picked up one of the training spathas will dull blades, positioned his feet, and struck. Once, twice. A small gust of wind accompanied each swing as the blade moved through the air. He was only warming up as he was supposed to meet his sister for a training session.
Perfecting technique was almost like meditating. When he heard the shuffle of feet behind him it almost took him too long for his liking to notice, but nevertheless, he noticed. The corners of his lips turned up into a smirk and he promptly turned around, dull blade held out in front of him, its tip pointing right at the blonde he was waiting for.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] It's been three years. Three years were nothing for a regular mortal. To demigods, it was an achievement to survive for such a long time. But to Sam, those three years felt like an eternity. Three, his favorite number. Three, his lucky number. Or used to be at least. It proved to be of misfortune the moments the Greeks arrived at Camp Jupiter.
Sam stood against the cold stone wall right next to the Caldecott Tunnel entrance that led to the Roman demigods camp. He looked down at himself, sporting ordinary clothes instead of his armor and purple t-shirt. He was on guard duty that night but also acting as some sort of welcome committee in case new Greeks were to arrive. They trickled in in smaller groups since traveling in larger teams would be too dangerous. The first thing Sam noticed about them was that they were definitely weaker than him and his lot. They became a running joke within his midst.
The reason he was wearing civilian clothing was to not scare off the Greeks. He couldn't really believe it when they were told just that. He reluctantly ditched his regular and most comfortable fashion for a simple black tee, dark jeans, and a light jacket, pretty much blending in with the night. The only thing hinting at his heritage was the golden Spatha that rested against the wall next to him. The weather outside the wards was chilly but he liked it. It was just the right temperature for thunder and a storm to hit. He could smell the rain in the air and he wished it was raining.
Holding his hand out he let some sparks appear around his long, slender fingers. He felt the electricity in the air, the energy it gave him. The stark and bright blue against the black of the darkness. The sleeve of his jacket slipped up slightly, revealing the family heirloom he was given when he was younger. A simple and thin black leather band, looking so fragile but holding so much power within each string.
His gaze was turned skyward, electric eyes looking at the moon as it shone as bright as a star in the sky, illuminating the area just enough to see. "Must be nice to just sit in the sky, unbothered by anyone or anything huh?" he said to no one in particular, talking to the moon. He was about to let out a sigh when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Sam held his breath for a moment, holding back the sigh. He crossed his arms over his chest, squinting at a figure in the dark and trying not to look too intimidating as instructed. Let them approach first. Might just be a mortal who lost their way or worst case: another Greek.
Sam was born into a wealthy and influential family, the owners of a large internationally known company to which his mother was the heiress. The Darnay family used to live in New Rome but Sam's great-great-great-grandfather decided to move out into the mortal world as he was greedy for more success and wealth, something he couldn't accomplish within the borders of the secluded and safe New Rome. Rumors have it he was a son of Pluto, hence the need for more wealth, but even if he was a demigod, the bloodline vanished in the family until Sam's mother ran into Jupiter.[break][break]
Despite being a child of the big three Sam rarely had any encounters with monsters or gods or even other demigods - at least that's what he thought. Little did he know at that time. He always thought his mother to be a little crazy and superstitious, their home filled with weapons on display and all sorts of charms and things that were supposed to act like wards. Some things were real, most of them weren't. His mother was a mortal who knew about his father's real identity but that was all she knew and while she thought it to be a great success to have been able to seduce the god of the gods himself it was something she didn't want to let her son know. He was her pride and not his father's who disappeared right after the one night they spent together. Perhaps it also hurt her feelings and own pride a little, seeing that he couldn't bother to stay with her any longer. In the end, pride ran in the family.[break][break]
When Sam was in High School he met the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his entire life and he knew quite a lot. But Mira was different, her beauty more of an ethereal kind as if she wasn't entirely human. He was a total jock, captain of the football team despite his age, and he lowkey suspected his mother having bribed authorities to make him gain that position. Of course, he was awfully aware of his family's social status, their wealth, their power. It attracted girls and boys alike like light attracted flies. Once he met Mira it felt as if the tables had turned.[break][break]
Tossing all his pride overboard he turned into the fly trying to get her attention. And once that was accomplished he was the happiest guy on the planet, little did he know she was going to be a bug zapper to him.[break][break]
They had been dating for a whole year already and Sam couldn't imagine it to be different. The two were a powerful and probably the most beautiful couple at school. He couldn't imagine it to ever be over.[break][break]
She ended their relationship, the one he thought to be almost perfect, with a phone call.[break][break]
One, he couldn't believe she did that. Second, he couldn't believe anyone would break up with him via phone. It caught him off guard, he was surprised and horrified at once. He wondered if there was something he had done wrong but no matter how many times he asked her she wouldn't tell him a reason or talk to him at all. Despite all his efforts of trying to fix things, to set everything right, to retrieve what he just lost... she wouldn't let him.[break][break]
And then he caught her kissing his best friend.[break][break]
It was in that moment he wished someone would have warned him how much it would hurt to have one's heart broken. It felt as if someone was physically ripping it out, tearing it apart, shredding it into tiny pieces, throwing it into the dirt on the ground, and stomping on it continuously without remorse.[break][break]
He wouldn't show it to her, of course, his pride had already taken a hit the first time she broke up with him (or the only time really). There barely was any left and he wouldn't let her publically steal what remained. It took a lot of willpower to not walk over and smash his fist into his best friend's face. Oh, how he would have loved to do just that. But he figured it would probably just amuse her. Perhaps she even expected him to act just like that. Instead, he turned his gaze and walked away. Once he was out of sight he ran, ran so fast and angry until he couldn't breathe properly anymore.[break][break]
Sam only faintly remembers the aftermath, because all he sees when he thinks about it is Mira's lips touching not his but someone else's. He had collapsed in a nearby park where he was being laughed at by a stranger for being foolish enough to fall for someone like her. He didn't know what that meant, what he was talking about. The guy was probably crazy, and thus he brushed it off like that and went home.[break][break]
He avoided Mira after that day and then she vanished, just like that, as if she never existed.[break][break]
Perhaps it was his own recklessness to blame when he ran into his first monster not too long after she had left him. Maybe if he wouldn't have let his feelings get the better of him he could still live a normal life with his family at home but instead, he found himself dropped off at the Wolf House by his sobbing mother. Abandoned once again. Lupa explained and trained him. The anger inside him was put to good use and being good at sports all these years came into handy. He excelled as expected of a child of Jupiter.[break][break]
The journey to Camp Jupiter wasn't as long as he expected it to be or as difficult as others had described it. He arrived with multiple letters of recommendation, was claimed by Jupiter, and placed into the First Cohort. He didn't find it too hard to make new friends. He quickly became one of the popular guys just as he was in school. The only thing he struggled with was finding new love because even after all this time it was just her on his mind - always.[break][break]
[ ELECTROKINESIS ] - As a son of Jupiter, the god of thunder and storms, Sam has been gifted the ability to summon, control and bend electricity including lightning. While summoning electricity is on the easier side, controlling it is much harder. He often loses control of it or gets electrocuted which doesn't do any good to his hair. If you smell something burnt, it's most likely a child of Vulcan or him. Since electricity is also the energy it's his main source to summon those powers and just like a battery he gets drained quite quickly. Rumors have it that just like a battery one could use it to charge himself but in the end, he's more human than battery.[break][break]
[ AEROKINESIS ] - He is also able to bend air and wind in his favor, although he finds it a little complicated to get the hang off since air is all around him. But it is by far easier than and more powerful than his electrokinesis. He can create strong currents and winds to shove opponents back or to move things around. He can also use it to push himself to run faster however, sometimes he ends up pushing too strong and lands face first in the dirt. He can't fly but he can use the wind to slow down his fall. Since air is all around and everywhere and it's as light as a feather using those powers doesn't affect him as much as the other one, however, once exhausted he finds it difficult to summon again and must rest.[break][break]
[ ENCHANTED BRACELET ] - Having a family history of multiple occurrences where a child of Aphrodite and Venus was involved in Sam was given an heirloom to protect him from their shenanigans. It aids him in resisting their charmspeak to a certain extend. Its powers solely rely on his physical and mental condition. It looks like a flimsy, thin, black leather bracelet or band.[break]
