- Astrid stands at an average height with a slim and athletic physique. She has light blue eyes and long blonde hair that is typically pulled into a ponytail or braided and frames her face. She has a navel piercing that’s typically blue but she will swap the jewelry to coordinate with her outfit. She has an industrial piercing is in her left ear, and is always a stylized arrow, she takes it out for any physical activity that requires her to wear a helmet.
- Despite the warm weather in camp, Hawke is often found wearing a Blackhawks hoodie with her dad's jersey number (42) and last name on the back over her Camp t-shirt.
- Astrid has a shallow scar on her cheek from her journey to camp that isn't noticeable unless you're actively looking for the blemish.

- When bored, Astrid will use her laurel leaf manipulation ability, usually resulting in flower crowns for herself or whoever she's with, or decorations
usually covering the table during Centurion meetings. - Assuming there are no other pressing matters, Astrid tries to meet up with her dad when the Blackhawks are playing the Sharks if she can.
- Astrid frequently keeps granola bars and Gatorade in a gym bag she usually has with her and will offer the snacks to other campers.

- Astrid never really had time for dating before coming to Camp Jupiter and hasn't formed any romantic attachments in her time there as of yet.

- Whether it's a serious enemy or just a rivalry, Astrid is sure to have pissed off quite a few people in life with the way she tends to carry herself. She knows she won't be liked by everyone and can live with that.

- Mateo Kerčić - Mateo arrived to Camp Jupiter a year after Astrid had and their conflicting personalities have caused many clashes between the two. They've frequently engaged in both physical and verbal confrontations, common enough that the healers won't help if either of them injure the other.
