Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Most people in her situation likely would have run for it the moment he told them to. Though Savannah was not most people. She could be extremely stubborn and always wanted the best for those around her. She was not the type of girl that would just stand by and let someone be in pain, no, she was the one that would be there beside them, holding them, keeping them together if she had to. It was just in her mindset these days. No one deserved to be hurting for something that they had not meant to do. Noah clearly had a very kind heart, and it hurt her to see him like this. She might have been in pain, might have felt extremely weakened by what she had endured, but that did not keep her from being there, from trying to help him as best she could.
Sav gave him a weak smile as he laughed about the tissues and she shook her head, " I can see how it is something silly that most people wouldn't expect in a demigod camp. Daughter of Aphrodite, sometimes I need tissues to make sure my makeup isn't running down my face you know?" she laughed a little and kept up what she was doing, cleaning his face up as best she could. It was what any one would do. Well, what anyone should do. Though he thought it was funny she shrugged, " your welcome." he had tried to pull a couple of tissues and instead ended up with a lap full. She was careful as she helped him pick them up, careful not to do something embarassing. Folding them up she set them back on top of the pack and stayed beside him as he adjusted to a more comfortable position.
" well, take all the time you need, because I am not leaving you, and I surely don't see myself going very far right now either." she admitted softly, her eyes on his for a moment. " Really, I'm not going anywhere." she meant it too. No way was she goign to leave him alone there by the fire that had been abandoned by everyone else. They were just going to hold out and rest together until they could stumble their way back. She was fine with that too. He had flopped back onto the ground and she chewed on her lip for a moment before pulling her hoodie off and folding it up so it would work better as a pillow for him. She carefully slipped it under his head, helping him move as much as he needed. " There, that should be a little more comfortable than a bunch of rocks under your head."
He was digging in his pocket and Savannah raised her eyebrows as he pulled out the parchment paper and a small little square of ambrosia. " Noah, I think you need that more than I do." she took it from him to make him happy but she didn't eat it yet, " Really, I think its better if you take this yourself, they can give me some at the infirmary later. I'll be ok, but we need to get your on your feet first." she unwrapped it from the paper carefully. She was very hesitant to use it on herself, thinking it would be much better for him.
Savannah bit her lip at his question, " Oh um...well." she took a deep breath, " When I grabbed your hands it was to get your attention fully on me, because if I concentrated enough on it, I could get you to stop by just telling you to." she sighed, " My gift from my mother is Charm Speak. So, I put all the power I could muster behind telling you to stop. I don't like to use it, I really don't, but in this situation I felt like it was called for. I am sorry for that, I mean, I don't always have control over whether or not it slips out, but, I had to with you. Forgive me? I mean, I didn't want to make you lose your will power, even if it was for a good reason."
Savannah looked over at Noah who's smile was absolutely infectious. He was already a handsome guy, but add that smile to his face and you could tell that he was the son of Apollo. The god was known for being stunning, and Noah definitely fit that mold. Though just the thought made her blush scarlet. " Ah well, we all have our moments at least, I should have thought that you guys would have just as much to mourn, even if its just something as simple as your camp being invaded by us Greeks. Sorry about that by the way." she couldn't imagine if the Romans had all come to Camp Half Blood, having to take on that many new campers at once? It had to be overwhelming, and she didn't blame the ones that had looked at them like they were nothing but a burden.
She tilted her head at him and smiled, " You are far from some heartless brute. I've seen a side of you that shows the exact opposite of that. Fighting to be the opposite of that. I saw the look on your face." she had seen the tears streaming down his cheeks as he had fought to try not to hurt her. If he was some heartless, brutal Roman, he wouldn't have fought quite so hard. " So, clearly, you are in the minority. Something tells me you are actually able to appreciate this." she gestured to the lanterns before turning her eyes back to his face. He towered over her, but that was alright, she appreciated a tall man. They could reach the things on the top shelf.
It was sweet of him to share his music with her. He had been doing nothing but making her feel welcome tonight, and that was something she could get used to. The song played in her ear and she turned her eyes up to the night sky, watching the lanterns floating up as the tune played along with it, it really was the perfect choice for this. " Gods, I can't imagine a more beautiful tribute." she sighed, content in that moment. Though when he agreed to sitting down, and they moved together to that spot, she felt the warmth of his presence next to her. They had to sit close for them to both be able to enjoy the music, and she was enjoying that closeness. It warmed her skin being that close, but it also warmed her very heart being that near to him.
As he spoke she turned just a bit so she could give him her full attention. He seemed nervous as he wrung his hands and she wanted to show him that it was alright. He apologized to her and she felt awful for him. It was clear that he felt terrible and she had to choose her words carefully. Watching as he ran his hand through his hair, when he was done she reached over and took his hand in hers, squeezing it gently. " Noah, it's alright. I'm ok, no lasting damage. The healers fixed me right up. I appreciate that you felt the need to apologize, and I know that it was a hard night to begin with. I want to apologize as well. I don't like using my charm speak unless I have to, I don't like using powers on my friends, and though it helped to stop you, I still should apologize for using it at all...so I too am sorry." she smiled right back at him, his face seemed to really light up when he smiled, and she loved to see it.
The frown on his face had almost made her stop in her tracks, but the smile that had Savannah felt stupid the minute she had said it. Of course the Roman's had their own losses over time that they would want to honor as well. This was not specifically for the Greeks. Her face turned bright red as she was beyond embarassed. Why was she so, so...nervous around Noah? Sure, the way they had met had been far from normal, but she had not held a single thing against him. He was trying to protect his sister, and she could understand that. The Ares kids often put her in her own kind of temper so she got it completely.
" Of course, that makes complete sense. I didn't mean to be such an idiot I swear." were her cheeks going to be permanantly red at this point? Deep down something nagged at her, she had to wonder who his losses were, but she thought it would be rude to ask. So she let it go. Though she herself had to say goodbye to so many, it was completely plausible that he did too. She looked up at the lanterns above them, twinkling in the night sky, glowing like the stars that showed up between them. " Its so beautiful. It should be something they should do every year, just to help people say their goodbyes to the pain of losses they had that year." her dark eyes seemed to reflect the light of the lanterns above as she watched someone release another.
Savannah smiled at him and took the ear bud from him, " Music always makes a moment even more special, and even magical at times. Though I would expect a son of Apollo to agree with me anyway." she placed the earbud in her ear, moving in closer to him so that it was easier for them both to listen. The Night We Met played in her ear and her eyes started to build up with tears. " This is my favorite song Noah, its like you knew..." she looked up at him, realizing at that moment how much he towered over her. The blush on her cheeks making her almost look like a doll in the diffused light of the lanterns.
Her smile was so very genuine as she looked up into his eyes. " Can we sit?" she gestured to a place that they could sit close together where they could listen to his music and just enjoy the festival and the lights above them. She was afraid he was still thinking about the night they met, especially with the song that was playing in her ear, making her heart race in her chest. Why? She couldn't even remember the last time someone made her feel like a giddy school girl just by being near them.
She held the lantern between her hands as she watched others lift off into the night sky. So many losses, so much grief for them to let go. It was hard to think of the amount of friends, lovers, family that they had all lost at Camp Half Blood when the fire roared through and the smell of smoke never really felt like it ever had come out of her hair, though she knew it had. The ash in the air, the soot on their faces, she had wished it was a bad dream, but it was far from that. It was very much painful and very much real, and she was not going to be able to forget it easily. If ever. Though, the point of all of this was letting go, the ending of one chapter, and the beginning of the next.
Was she frightened of the future? Yes and no. There was so much uncertainty in it all, they had a whole different world here, but she had to wonder, would the Roman's even allow them to live in New Rome with their own people when they decided to make that choice? There was potential in that, but it was a scary concept. If they did not allow it, would they just be tossed aside? Sent back out into the world where they monsters could smash through their doors and murder them? It was possible. Anything was possible. She swallowed down the knot in her throat as she murmured her goodbyes to her siblings, friends, and to Lucas. It was tough letting them all go, but it was time to.
A tear slipped down her cheek as she watched the lantern lift up into the night sky, rubbing at her arms, though she wasn't truly too cold, despite them opening the weather of the world. It was more for that comfort, the need to feel some kind of warmth, no matter how weak. Her eyes looked over the crowd and she saw him. His eyes on hers made her cheeks flush and she walked slowly towards him. " I didn't expect you to be here tonight. Figured most of the Roman's were not really wanting to be here for this."
The sound of his trembling laughter almost made her blood run cold. Though she understood what he meant. They were of the same mind set, that they were not worth it. He needed help, and Savannah was going to do all that she could in order to do just that. " I will help you, as much as I possibly can, you just need to let me." she kept her eyes trained on his, hoping that he understood that she was here for him. Savannah had lost so much that she didn't really mind putting herself in harms way if it meant helping others. Most wouldn't believe it of her, thinking she was one of those air heads with her head in the clouds, but she wasn't. She was a caring girl, who just wanted what was best for the people around her, and if she could help with that, she was going to.
The others had started to leave and she felt like she could let out a small breath of relief, at least now he could concentrate solely on her, and she on him. It was not a good feeling, that tightness in her chest, the feeling that he was going to crush her heart into a powder at any second. She swallowed hard, thinking maybe it could help take away a little of the pain, but instead she only felt like she was choking.
Her hands grasped his and she tried to ignore the pain in her chest, her eyes watching his every move, she noticed his blue ones looking down at their joined hands. Perhaps a little surprised that she would do this, touch him, after all that they were dealing with at the moment. Though in her eyes, this was the way she was going to at least get his attention. Get it off of her heart, make him focus somewhere else, even for a moment. Get in that moments hesitation, that need to keep his focus elsewhere. She could only hope that it would work. She didn't too much fancy dying there and then.
His eyes met hers, and she felt the grip slowly loosen on her. She gasped, trying to catch her breath and pray to any of the goes that might be listening that he would just let it all go. Though she was not one to hold on to false hope. If he wanted, she knew that he could have crushed her by now. It was a scary concept, but she also was not holding it against him. Not having control on a power that you have, a gift as the gods saw it, was not at all uncommon, and she would not hold it against him. She had lost control several times over the years herself, so she knew how it felt. THough she couldn't imagine being in his shoes, knowing how easily he could have killed her.
He pulled his hands away from her and practically tripped over his own feet, falling to the ground a few feet from her. " Noah...take it easy.." she groaned the words out and watched him as he stumbled a bit. Then he was punching the ground after their eyes met and she felt awful for him. Her heart was breaking just seeing him beat himself up like this. " Hey...hey don't do that. I'm alright. you stopped." she took a single step towards him but stopped, letting him get out his frustrations. Tears fell down her cheeks as she saw how much he was hurting, she hated seeing anyone in pain, and it was clear that Noah was really beating himself up, hurting so badly over what he had done.
Seeing him shaking that way, looking like he was going to fall apart at any moment she shook her head, her eyes on his. " Noah, deep breaths..." blood started to drop from his nose and her eyes grew wide and she moved as quickly as her body would allow her to with the strength having drained from her and grabbed her bag from where she had left it. Daughter of Aphrodite, of course she had her purse with her at all times. Opening it, she pulled out a little pack of tissues and moved to kneel beside him. " I will be alright, I promise I'll go but, for now let's take care of you ok?" she kept her eyes trained on his for a moment before dabbing at the blood with the tissue and then handing him the whole pack. " I'll stay with you until you can move and then we will both go to the infirmary."
Under normal circumstances, Savannah was not a fan of the children of Ares. On principle, they just annoyed her with their bravado and belief that they were better than most others just because they tended to be a little on the stronger side in battle. Though truth be told, with just a little bit of charmspeak on her end, they could turn tail and run. She might look like she was delicate, but in the end, she could hold her own if she had to. Though the Ares campers never seemed to think that of the Aphrodite kids, Hades, most of the campers though they were just vain and stuck up. Savannah tried not to be one of those stereotypes. So, here she was, intervening on behalf of an Ares kid just to keep from more trouble springing up later.
They had to deal with the Romans not wanting them in their camp as it was, and here they were making trouble with the Romans for no reason. It was maddening and Savannah would have put an end to it had Noah not done something first. Thank the gods she had heard his name so it made reasoning with him at little easier, or so she thought. Taking a deep breath to steel her nerves she kept her eyes trained on his as he spoke. " Because you do not need to stoop to their level. You are doing this to help someone you care about right? Well, that already makes you the better man. You can back down from this, you don't have to be like them. They aren't worth it Noah." she could see it in his eyes, a darkness, a shadow of something that was clearly beneath the surface.
Savannah heard the Ares camper take a shuddering breath and she knew that for a moment he was free from the pain. The power Noah had was something she had only heard about in books, something that she didn't think actually existed. Yet here he was, and she was in awe of it. It was not a good power to have by any means, at least, not in polite company. Though on a battle field? She could see how it might be very useful. There was something in his eyes though, a pain, a need for it to not be happening and she knew she had to stop him, somehow.
" Yes you can. You are above this, you are better than this." she kept her hands up but then it was like his attention was fully switched to her. Crap. She quickly looked back at the other Ares campers, " Get him out of here..." she winced in pain as she felt the squeezing to her own heart, " NOW..." she gasped as they did what she asked, well, most of them, and took the boy towards the infirmary. Her eyes turned back to Noah, pleading with him to stop. " Noah Please..." she saw the glimmer of metal flashing and the injury blooming on his palm. With every ounce of power she had left in her she cried out with her charmspeak, " Everyone else back off, leave...Now..." she gasped in pain. Her eyes back on his.
She was feeling a little weak after that, but people were wandering off and that was what she needed, the less people around the more she could concentrate solely on Noah. Swallowing back the pain and nerves she reached out and took his hands in hers, not caring about the blood, not caring about anything but trying to get him to focus on her. " Noah, you have to stop, you are hurting me.." her power was weaker after using so much to get everyone to leave, but it was what was needed, so that she could concentrate. " Noah, l...let...me go.." her eyelashes fluttered against the tops of her cheeks, trying not to think about the pain.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Savannah calmed the huge animal as best she could. She felt terrible for Nik, knowing how scary that had to have been. If the horse had hit his head, he would be dead right now, easily. She was glad she had found him when she did. If she hadn't been restless and come down to see Olaf, they might have lost another camper, and that was the last thing her fellow Greek's needed. " Then I'm glad that I couldn't sleep." she held onto him, helping him to the bench and when he was sitting down she sat down beside him, pulling little bits of hay out of his hair for him. " I'm just glad you are ok. You're welcome though." she brushed the hay off of his shoulder and looked over as he talked about his evil and terror filled self. [break][break]
She shook her head with a little smile, " Nah, you are a big old teddy bear Nikolai. The horses just don't know that you are a nice guy." she smiled a bit and could see Olaf sticking his head over his stall door, his wings fluttering a little as he stared at her. Glared really, seeing as how she had not deigned to come scratch him and give him his favorite treats yet. Climbing to her feet she dug in her pocket and pulled out a couple peppermints she had brought with her for her pegasus. She held one of the little wrapped candies out to Nikolai. " How about I help you meet my pegasus at least? He will be happy to meet you as long as you give him one of those, and I'm with you." [break][break]
Savannah walked down to his stall and ran her hand over his face, up into his forelock and she scratched that spot there that always seemed so itchy for him. When she was done she unwrapped the peppermint and placed it in her open palm, holding it out for him. His muzzle was tickling her palm as he took the treat from her and she held her hand out to Nik, " Come on, he will be ok I promise. Just unwrap the candy and leave it in your palm, flat, just like I did." she moved to where she could keep a hand on the white pegasi's neck to keep him calm. " you might just make a new best friend."
They had all been missing it so much. Missing their home, missing Camp Halfblood where they all had once felt very much they belonged. Since arriving at Camp Jupiter it had been difficult. Some were fitting in easier than others, though some of the Roman gods were much more like their Greek counterparts, like Mercury, Venus and Apollo. She felt like she was doing pretty well here, though she did miss New York. She missed her dad, and she missed Lucas. Though she also knew that she could not dwell on the past. They had to move on, all of them. [break][break]
The Romans had agreed to let them have a bonfire tonight, to let them have a little piece of home once more. Camp songs and marshmallows, just wrapping up the day together, offerings to the gods, a bit of home. Savannah had gotten dressed after dinner, pulling her leather jacket on over the sundress she had been wearing, as it got a little chilly at night. California was funny that way. SHe expected it in New York, but California always suprised her with how could it could get in the evenings. Sav was sitting by the fire with some of her friends, laughing with Scarlett about something when she heard some commotion from the Ares campers. Of course it would be them, why wouldn't it be. [break][break]
She recognized the red head they were messing with and a frown crossed her lips. She was the girl with the visions, daughter of Apollo, somoene that the Romans took great stake in from what she understood. Though the Ares campers were getting a little out of hand. She excused herself from her friends as they shoved the girl and made her way towards them. As a cabin leader she had to be an example and make sure that they didn't make idiots out of themselves, not to mention it was rude as Hades. [break][break]
About to break it up, she was a little late as a blonde boy made his way over and tried to get them to stop. When they didn't she sighed and decided it was really time for her to intervene. Though her eyes grew wide when she saw what he was doing. " Noah, Noah stop, its ok. I'm ok." she heard the red head trying to ask him to stop whatever it was he was doing and she saw the ares camper gripping his chest just above his heart. " Hey! Hey that's enough, break it up!" some of the Ares campers scattered and she rolled her eyes before moving in closer. " Noah is it? What are you doing? St.." she heard him say don't make him do this and her eyes grew wide. [break][break]
Swallowing back her nerves she moved to stop it herself, grabbing the Ares campers arm she turned her brown eyes to Noah. " Please stop, you are hurting him." she could use charmspeak, but she didn't want to unless she had to, she hated to use that on people, so she didn't not yet anyway. "Please stop." she held her hands up to show him that she wasn't going to attack him or the red head, what was her name? She couldn't remember.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Sometimes it was still hard to sleep. She missed her old bed at Camp Half Blood, the feather down mattress topper her father had gotten for her had always felt like it had wrapped her up in warm arms while she slept. It was perfect, and the mattress here was alright, but not near what she was used to. Her back was not a fan of it, that much was certain. Climbing out of the bed she pulled off her pajamas, catching a glimpse of the scar that was mostly healed at this point but that she would carry for the rest of her life along her rib cage. She frowned as she placed her hand over it, reminder of what had happened at Camp Half Blood when they had been attacked. Sighing heavily she grabbed something quick to put on, a skirt and a tank top because it was easy and grabbed her hoodie throwing it on and headed out into the night.
She knew there was a curfew, but she also didn't care. She was just needing to get out for awhile, needed to get her mind off the nightmares that still plagued her from the attack. She was wandering around when she thought she should go check on her pegasus, Olaf. Savannah had been so glad that he had made it through that attack unscathed, he had chosen her forever ago, and he meant the world to her. His solid white coat tended to almost seem to glow when you looked at him, like fallen snow. His mane and tail were white too, but they had strands of silver mixed in, he was a total beauty, and she had loved him from the start. After the attack at the camp he had soot mixed through his coat, and she had helped him clean up after all of it, using that to help her get her mind off of all the dead they had lost, all the people they would never see again. It was hard, but he was there for her.
The camp seemed almost deserted this late at night, not at all surprising, but she could see the glow of lights down where the families lived, it was so strange, so different from Camp Half Blood. It made her think that maybe life could be much different for her than before. That she could maybe have a life here that she never had imagined having before. It was interesting to say the least. She just hoped that they would be a little more open towards the greeks. The Romans didnt seem to happy that they were here, but some had been pretty welcoming at least. Though she didn't blame them, they had invaded their home.
She pulled open the door and was about to head to Olaf's stall, his head poking out when he realized she was there, when she heard a scuffle. Her eyes grew wide when she noticed the horse rearing down at the end and the body falling to the hay. " Oh gods." she ran over quickly and held her hands up, getting the horse to back up a bit. Her eyes turned to see the person in the hay and recognized him as one of the other greeks. Nikolai. She calmed the horse down and then bent down beside him, " Gods Nik, are you alright? Did he hit you?" She held her hands out to him, " come on, let me get you out of here..." she wanted to get him as far from that horse as possible, it was clearly agitated. " theres a place to sit right over here."
Flirt is all in the territory. Savannah is a huge flirt, doesn't matter who it is, its a tactic to get what she wants and she won't back down easily. She is a very proud woman, and does not like it when people look down on her or try to make her out to be someone she isn't. Charismatic as all get out, she has charm speak as an ability and though she doesn't use it often, will if the moment calls for it. She can be a little selfish, it just comes with who she is, and being an only child never helped that aspect. Though she is trying to grow from that, its been hard road. She can be very jealous as well, not liking to not get the things, or guys, she feels she wants or deserves. Having her right of passage at the age of fourteen, breaking the heart of a son of Hermes, she has been a little more careful with her heart, seeing as how she had actually truly cared about him. They had ended up still best friends, but she hated hurting people.
[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Aphrodite had a lot of children, that much was certain, but she certainly seemed to pick and choose their father's based on their looks, charisma, and overall prowess. Jensen Deveraux was no different. The lead singer of his own rock band he was climbing up the charts quickly and everyone seemed to love him and his music. That seemed to include the absolutely stunning woman who was waiting for him by his car after a studio session. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and they ended up having quite the whirlwind romance, during which, she explained to him after she was pregnant who she really was. He had a hard time believing it, but she had not lied. Shortly after, she brought him what she claimed to be a gift. Something he had always wanted but after losing his wife to another man, he never got the children he wanted, until this dark haired bundle of joy wrapped up in a pink blanket was brought to him. Aphrodite left after that, but he didn't care, he had his baby who he named Savannah after the home he had grown up in in Georgia. [break][break]
Savannah went with him on the road, everywhere he went. Her whole life was filled with adventures, with seeing the world from a bus or a plane, but always going back home to their place in New York City between summer tours. She was sent to private schools in the city, but her dyslexia made it a little hard on her at times, she worked through it though, and did pretty well in her classes. Though when she was twelve, the first monster attacked, it was a huge sphinx that chased her through an ally and had her cornered, it was about to take her down when a satyr came out of no where with two campers who helped her get away. They explained to her who they were and where they were from. Camp Half Blood. They took her back home to her father who was getting ready to go on another tour and explained to him that it was no longer safe for her to be away from camp. It hurt, but he allowed her to go, helping her pack up some things and drove them all back. [break][break]
Saying goodbye was hard, but it was going to make his touring easier, and she was going to be much safer at camp. She was claimed the moment she walked in, her mothers blessing washing over her. It was nice to find someplace she belonged and she took to camp like a fish to water. Her cabin mates were intense, but she got along with them pretty well, not realizing it as she was growing up that she was always getting thing she asked for with no problems, she was surprised to find out she had the rare ability of charm speaking. She tried to be careful of it, not wanting to cause issues, but sometimes it just would slip out. [break][break]
When her cabin mates told her of the right of passage for a child of Aphrodite, she had thought it insane, breaking some poor persons heart just to be like their mother? Seemed insane. Though this came from the girl who loved books with that sweet love story between two characters that had to fight for one another, that kind of thing. They gave her a little forgiveness, being only twelve, but she knew she would have to do it eventually. The problem was, when she was fourteen the boy she had started spending time with, she actually really liked, a lot, and they pressured her. Told her she needed to break up with him, break his heart, and be the true daughter of Aphrodite she needed to be. [break][break]
She did it, breaking Lucas' heart, and her own in the process. After that, she continued to just be a flirt, trying to get her way but guarding her heart, the way she would continue to be in order to prevent that pain again. Though, she never would tell her siblings that she had been hurt in the process, or they might make her do it again. She and Lucas found ways to be friends though, and that was what mattered in the long run. She spent time with him still and they enjoyed one anothers company. In fact, in secret they had dated here and there. She really did love him. As the years went by, she became one of the more popular members of her cabin, and ended up as Cabin Leader in time. [break][break]
Then it happened. Someone in the camp was a traitor, and they started a mess at camp. Fires broke out, everyone was fighting, and there was nothing they could do. She was in the middle of a fight with one of the traitors, discovering that they were using some actual steel blades, one of which caught her side, slicing across it making her bleed. She cried out in pain and heard Lucas call out her name as he ran to them using his speed, but before she could warn him the traitor ran him through with the blade. A horrible scream erupted from Savannah as Lucas fell, the traitor ran for it as she moved to his side, crying out to someone, an Apollo healer for help but everyone was fighting, they couldn't get to them in time. She held him in her arms, his blue eyes on hers as she ran her hand over his cheek, she knew he was dying, right there in his arms and she coudln't do anything to help it. Her tears fell down her cheeks and she leaned over, kissing his forehead as he took his last breath. When it was all said and done, Chiron found her with Lucas still in her arms. After, when they had the pyres and she said her goodbyes, they all started their long trek to Camp Jupiter. She hated the idea of leaving, knew at her age even she could just not go to camp at all, she could go home, but it wasn't safe, and she couldn't abandon her surviving cabin mates. Arriving at Camp Jupiter she instantly felt dread in the pit of her stomach, but she had to suck it up, her cabin needed her, her fellow campers needed all the help they could get to get through this. She even used her charm speak to try to keep them calm, but she is at a loss as to what she is supposed to do next.
Charmspeak: Savannah has the ability of charm speak. It is a type of hypnotism she was blessed with thanks to her mother. Sometime she doesn't even realize she is doing it, just adding this power behind her words to get what she wants. She doesn't ever really try to do it maliciously, but it happens on occasion. She can not use it on other charm speakers and also if people are very strong-willed, it won't work, or will only work at a weakened level.
