Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

"Elise, the thing I stole from you broke. Meet at Armory, fix it please."
This was the note that the daughter of Hephaestus would find on her bunk in Camp Jupiter one fine afternoon. It was clear that, despite the lack of a name at the end, there could only be one man bold enough to proclaim he stole an item, and then request the person he stole it from to fix it after it stopped working. Only one, and he was infamous amongst all of Camp Half-Blood for crap like this.
The one and only, Erik Flynn, son of Hermes and living, breathing proof that the God of Messengers and Roads was also the God of thieves.
And so Erik waited, tossing a strange cube like contraption up and down in the air, catching it seamlessly every time. Was Elise late? Would she be early? Hades if Erik knew, he just wanted the funny object he swiped under heavy guard to work again. What good's a trophy if it's supposed to work and doesn't? .
Elise supposed that she had a better time adjusting to this new home than most of her Greek compatriots after their relocation to Camp Jupiter, after all she initially thought she'd be living here rather than across the country on the East Coast. Her mother's training had prepared her for this camp, and the daughter of Hephaestus found herself able to adapt to the camp's methods rather quickly. What the Greek demigod wasn't fond of, however, was sharing a cohort with every other Greek camper. Sharing with her siblings at Camp Half-Blood hadn't been too difficult, seeing as they tended to have similar interests, but with everyone in the same living space the discord and clash of personalities had been a bit too much, and she found herself missing the soundsystem of the Hephaestus Cabin, she could use the distraction.
As the demigod returned to the barracks after having lunch with her mother in New Rome, a note on her bunk seemed it would provide just the distraction she needed. There was only one person who had routinely stolen her inventions, a certain son of Hermes that had done so for years. Erik had stolen so much from her it was hard to say what he needed fixed, or if she even wanted to fix it. Regardless, Quill was intrigued as to what exactly the other demigod had broken and she couldn't just ignore the opportunity to get her hands on one of her own creations again, who knew how long it had been since she last saw it? With that thought in mind, the redhead gathered her toolset and set off for the Roman Camp's armory to find out just what was causing Flynn so much trouble.
The teen raised a brow as she entered the armory, the pilfered item currently being tossed rather carelessly by the other demigod. "You know I wouldn't be surprised if that's how you broke it, Flynn." Elise commented, announcing her presence as she made her way over to the son of Hermes. She recognized the device as one of her mini projectors, though what that particular one projected, she couldn't be sure. There were star maps, blueprints of projects, Capture the Flag plans, there could be anything on it, really. The daughter of Hephaestus set her toolset down on one of the workbenches and gestured towards Erik "Bring it over here and I'll see what's wrong with it." she offered with a lopsided smile as she took a seat at the bench, this would certainly be interesting.
Erik Flynn locked eyes with the forge god's daughter, a big, bright smile growing on his face. If Erik Flynn was the legendary thief, then Elise was the marvelous inventor of traps, dangers and (of course) treasures beyond mortal understanding. This box was the product of one of the last heists Erik pulled before Camp Half-Blood was razed, and strangely enough...
That meant something to him.
"Elise Quill, in the flesh! I have to say I am EXTREMELY glad you made it all the way out here, it'll give me something else to do. I MEAN it'll be so nice to see a friendly face in a crowd of strangers."
Erik smirked, and he caught the box in the height of the toss, and placed it gently down on the work-bench. "Gotta say, El, this does take me back to Camp. You remember the giant head you and the Hephaestus cabin made? That was a hard steal, being honest. Or the time Apollo cabin asked you to fix their Karaoke machine, and then I stole it? Hahaha, that one was a good laugh."
Erik grabbed a nearby knife, hanging about, and tossed it, aimlessly. "Tried stealing from the Vulcan kids, it's just not the same. They make weapons, or armor, or both at the same time. How many times does one steal a gold spear before the glamour fades you realize you're just holding something that can be replaced in the blink of an eye?"
Erik pointed at the cube, "But this thing... There's nothing else like it in all of New Rome. I'm lucky to have it!"
In the time that had passed since leaving Camp Half-Blood, Elise had forgotten just how much Erik liked to talk. He was certainly a chatterbox, especially compared to the Romans that they now lived amongst. It was probably a good thing that the son of Hermes was as loquacious as he was, able to drive the conversation while the mechanic preferred commentary where it was necessary and not much more.
"The armory is preferable to the barracks." the redhead admitted, "I suppose it's also nice to see you too." she added with a smile. Flynn was a bit of a constant part of life back at Camp Half-Blood, with his tendency to steal anything she and her cabinmates got their hands on, something he seemed to recall as well. The teen set to trying to figure out the issue with the cube using her technokinesis while the thief of said object continued talking. "Where did you even store some of that stuff?" Quill questioned, the giant head he had referred to was a to-scale replica of the Statue of Liberty's head, the cabin's challenge project for that year. How the son of Hermes had managed to abscond with the 17-foot tall monstrosity had everyone confused considering its size.
It wasn't long before Elise knew exactly what was wrong with this particular projection cube, but she certainly wasn't going to reveal all of her cards to the other demigod all at once. Flynn had stolen enough from her that he could endure a bit of waiting before earning the cube back. "I haven't actually made an effort to socialize with my Roman siblings yet." the daughter of Hephaestus responded as she feigned continued work on the cube. "Doubt they're quite as...lively as I am." she added with a smirk.
Quill shrugged, "There could be more in New Rome, if Graecus were trusted to be in the armory for anything other than repairing weapons and armor--so boring." Honestly, she was surprised no one had told the two of them off for not using the armory for its intended purpose just yet, but the Romans likely had better things to do at the moment than yell at a couple of Greeks for doing something harmless. Well...mostly harmless depending on what projection was in this particular cube.
