[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Morrigan is a product of her raising. She is one who likes to be in control. She doesn't open up easily and she views love as a weakness. She is a cynic, though she prefers the term realist. She, usually, has patience when dealing with new romans or with anyone outside the realm of camp, but those diplomatic feelings will quickly vanish if her authority is questioned. She doesn't have anyone who she would call a friend though she does trust her fellow Praetor, who is as close to that as she gets. She views the legion as her family, but not in the sense that they bring her shelter or love, more in the sense that it is her duty and responsibility to protect them and hold the honor of Rome up. She doesn't ask for help and finds it hard to "relax". She isn't one to let her guard down or let people close which tends to make life at times lonely, but she pushes those feelings away as a sign of personal weakness. She doesn't have much downtime, though when she does, she enjoys reading. She tends to tell the truth, whether someone likes to hear it or not.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Morrigan was born to Caycee and Bryan Ashryver after Morrigan's mother was tricked by Jupiter. Jupiter took her husband's form and concieved a child with the mortal one stormy night. Caycee had known immediately that the baby growing inside of her was not a normal child and certainly not a child convieved with her husband. When the child was born her mother named her Morrigan, from the phantom queen of death in celtic lore.[break][break]
There was no love for the child, but her mother and father kept her out of fear from retribution from whoever or whatever her real father was. The child grew and her blonde hair was in stark comparison to her brunette parents, a constant reminder that she was not a true part of them. Four years passed and her parents had a child of their own, a brunette little boy who they loved more than the air they breathed. Morrigan loved him also but was not allowed to play with him nor touch him, her parents filled with fear that this ghost child would harm their true baby. Her parents kept her separated from him and sent her off to a private school the second she was six years old.[break][break]
Morrigan went to school a few hours away and learned quickly that she was on her own. There were no phone calls or letters from home and she was only allowed to return during the summer months and that was only because the school was closed. She grew up fending for herself, learning to do things on her own if she needed them done. When children at school made fun of her for her family never visiting or writing, she learned to stand on her own two feet and how to fight.[break][break]
Morrigan had resolved at the age of eleven that there must be something inside of her, something wrong that made people dislike her and that was simply how it was going to be until she died. That all changed however when she went home that summer. Morrigan was at the park, a few blocks away from her parent's house when an old lady approached her. The young demigod immediately felt apprehension, a deep internal red flag that practically shouted at her that the woman was not safe. Still, she spoke sweetly and commented on how beautiful Morrigan was, how proud her parents must be, so the young girl hesitated. The woman had looked around then and asked where her parents were. When Morrigan replied that she was alone the old woman smiled a wicked grin and changed into something that made Morrigan's blood run cold.[break][break]
The young girl had ran, but the creature was faster. The monster clawed at her, the wicked thing's nails tearing the skin on her upper arm. She had immediately cried out for help, cried for her parents, but no help came. Morrigan had only made it a block when the creature slammed into her, the two tumbling on the ground in a mess of claws, teeth and torment. Morrigan fought, using every bit of strength she had and the creature would momentarily back off only to come in again and again with better precision, tougher determination. The creature had knocked her head with its own and Morrigan felt the world spinning, she felt the creature bite her in the shoulder and she screamed out in pain before the world seemed to sharpen, before she felt something pulling at her. Morrigan screamed in fury as she let herself give into the feeling and as she did, electricity flowed out of her hands. The monster yelped in pain and she grasped the creature again, putting all of the energy she had left into killing him.[break][break]
The monster vanished and she laid on the pavement bleeding and exhausted. She had limped home, craving just the tiniest bit of comfort, the feeling of safety. However as she walked inside her mother had screamed and grabbed her by her wounded arm, yelling that she would not let Morrigan kill her son. Morrigan had yelled in pain and felt the same feeling cross over her skin, electricity shocking her mother's hand where it gripped her.[break][break]
The woman yelled and screamed at her, calling her a demon and Morrigan ran again. The fear of this strange new power and the fear of not being normal pushing her out the door. This time she didn't stop. She ran until she could feel the blood pulsing in her ears. She ran until she could run no more and from there she walked. She didn't know where she was going, but she continued forcing her feet to move until she came to a marble building with large columns and a statue of a wolf at its door.[break][break]
The wolf showed no pity, no love for her as she explained to the young and bloodied demigod who she was. Morrigan all at once , for the first time in her life, felt right. She had physically never felt worse, but mentally her body was practically singing that she was home, that she belonged here.[break][break]
Lupa trained her for three hard years. She learned to harness her powers, to perfect her fighting and defenses. She learned to be who she was always meant to be. She walked into Camp Jupiter with her head held high, a full recommendation from Jupiter in her hand and the scar from the attack that she would always carry on her shoulder. She was claimed immediately and sent to the first cohort. From there she thrived in the military environment, working her way through the ranks until she became Praetor.[break][break]
Morrigan has been Praetor for two years and holds the position now, trying to offer sanctuary to those who need it while keeping camp together.[break]

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]POWERS, SKILLS & WEAPONS
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Morrigan has Electrokenesis meaning that she can call electricity to her and sometimes through her at will. She can shock someone gently or terribly on command. She can use this repeatedly without tiring though she must be touching the person. If she is not touching them she cannot pull electricity to them.[break][break]
Morrigan can call lightning down, she is still working on her aim. The bolts tend to come down a few feet from where she means to have them strike. She can usually call down bolts without exhausting herself too badly though it takes a great deal of concentration. She has never attempted to call one down during an emergency. If she does not concentrate on it, the bolts tend to either come down in the wrong place or simply send out a crack through the sky without a bolt coming down.[break][break]
Morrigan also has atmokenesis meaning she can control the weather, wind and storms. She can harness the wind to create a breeze or powerful gust or the rain to come down, but she cannot harness air currents to fly. She cannot make the air disappear from someone's lungs nor control venti.[break][break]
Like most demigods she possesses inborn supernatural battle reflex. She is particularly skilled at fighting with a sword. While sparring or during battle she can make electricity move through her sword to her opponent's weapon if it is a conducting metal. She is trained in Roman legionary warfare and battle. She also has increased strength, stamina and reflexes.[break][break]
