Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

It was a decent day and Claire used that for a training day. Between her training she stopped to catch her breath. She sat there twirling a knife in her hands absentmindedly. Though her attention was not on the blade in her hand but those in ludus magnus. The brunette observed the area with her blue eyes carefully. She wore a simple pair of capris and tank top for training. Her hair was left done, though it was a little bit messy from her previous training session.
Claire seemed in a decent mood today. No one had fouled her mood which was always a good thing. The usually pretty good about her anger sometimes things got to her. A pissed off or annoyed daughter of Mars was never a good thing. Let alone if she was holding a weapon. With a heavy sigh she got to her feet and made her way over to her bag. She looked to her dagger in her hands and then the spear leaning against the bench. Silently she debated on what she was going to do.
Upon some mental thinking she ducked the dagger securely in her belt. She never parted with it willingly. She remembered when she had first arrived and some kids as a break took it. She hadn't been happy about it and had lost her fuse big time. Ever since she kept it close by. Carefully she picked up the spear and swung it a bit getting a feel for its movements. Benefits of her father being the god of war, she knew how to use most weapons.
[attr="class","ilikeyouheadsubtext"]Daughter of Victoria | Fourth Cohort Centurion
[attr="class","ilikeyoutext"] Astrid had a long day today, rather than the usual camp business being discussed at the Centurion meetings, they were preparing for the arrival of displaced Greeks from across the country. The daughter of Victoria knew that meant they'd soon have more demigods than they could feasibly house, and, from what she knew, the Greeks weren't nearly as disciplined as they were. This meant likely chaos and strained relations between the two camps until the Greeks got used to the way things were at Camp Jupiter. The situation was stressing the blonde out a bit more than she would have liked, which meant she needed to relieve her stress before it put her in a foul mood.[break][break]
The best stress relief, of course, was stabbing things. Repeatedly. Hawke had always been more of a ranged fighter, preferring her bow to any melee weapons, but sometimes you just needed some personal time with a Spatha to work out your frustrations. There was no sense in heading all the way back to the Fourth Cohort to retrieve her personally assigned Spatha, so the demigod resolved to borrow one from the armory for a bit in order to save herself some time.[break][break]
As she passed through the Ludus Magnus, Astrid noted Claire, one of the Legionnaires from the Third Cohort tinkering with her weapon--not surprising for a daughter of Mars. The Centurion resolved to check in with the other demigod if she was still there when she emerged from the armory, there no sense bothering someone that looked busy. After a bit of searching, Hawke found a Spatha that felt balanced enough that she could use it proficiently for some quick stress relief, exactly what she had needed.[break][break]
As the blonde exited the armory, she noticed Claire had still been hanging around in the Ludus Magnus, now using a spear rather than the dagger that the daughter of Mars usually had with her. The two hadn't talked much in a while, but Claire had arrived at Camp a couple of years after Astrid had. Keeping a respectable distance, as in far enough that she wouldn't immediately be shish-kebabed, Astrid approached the other demigod. "So," she began, her blue eyes trained on the movement of the spear, "do all Mars kids just hang out in the Ludus all day, or just you?" she questioned, sheathing the Spatha she had borrowed from the armory.[break][break]

Claire had begun swinging and lunging at the air with the spear. She was testing out a combination of strikes and blocks. More or less working on timing and footing. Her hair fell into her face from time but she ignored it for the most part. Claire her softer personality had landed her in the third Cohort, not that she minded it all that much. A lot of her siblings were often in first Cohort. To some she was not as good. It was part of the reason she trained as much as she did. A way to prove herself just as good as them, no matter what cohort she resided in.
Claire had noticed Astrid's approach before she had reached her. Spotting her first out of the corner of her eyes and then hearing her footsteps. As she heard her get nearer to her she slowed her swings before coming to a stop. She lowered the spear so that the tip of it rested in the dirt beneath her. She leaned against it slightly. With one hand to ran her fingers through her dark hair pushing it out of her face.
The daughter of Mars grinned to Astrid at the sound of her comment. "I mean that totally depends on the day. But this definitely beats wandering around camp bored" she said. She hadn't spoken to Astrid in sometime. They had crossed paths on occasion but most times Claire was in the process of running a message to the Praetors and couldn't stop to talk. "It has been far too long since we have had a good chance to just chat" she pointed out. She moved toward her bag and grabbed her water bottle before taking a drink of it.

[attr="class","ilikeyoutext"] Astrid leaned against one of the structural supports as Claire finished up the maneuver she had been working on. Even just having seen the end of the other demigod's practice, it was clear she was a child of Mars based solely on the precision and handling of the weapon. "Might as well be doing something productive if you've got nothing else to do." the blonde agreed, she often took time between meetings to practice archery finding it helped her regain focus. Today she just needed to take her mind off of things, and melee weapons were the perfect way to achieve that goal.[break][break]
The daughter of Victoria nodded in agreement, "Too many obligations tends to do that to you." she pointed out, "Centurion duties certainly keep me busier than I used to be, especially with the refugees from the Greek camp." Hawke commented. "That's actually why I came out this way," the demigod admitted, "I needed something a bit more aggressive than archery for some stress relief." she explained, gesturing to the sheathed Spatha resting on her hip. "I'd offer to spar with you, but I'm going to assume you don't want to get stabbed--usually practice dummies are more into that kind of thing." Astrid added, in any other situation she'd spar but stress relief for her usually involved nearly destroying whatever she was taking her stress out on.[break][break]
"Enough about boring Centurion business though, how have you been?" The blonde asked, with Claire's messenger position it was rare that Astrid saw her for more than a few moments at a time. Hawke didn't ever really have the time or a reason to visit the Third Cohort, too busy keeping the Fourth in line so she only really ever talked to Castor at meetings and that was the extent of her socialization. Of course, she seemed to be making up for that now, she really needed better inter-cohort relations in general, outside of the Centurions.[break][break]

Claire smiled when Astrid seemed to understand where she was coming from. Many just thought she worked to hard. To Claire it was simply being productive. "Exactly" she said. She returned the spear to rest against the bench once more. She figured she could use her dagger again. Running her fingers through her hair she looked to Astrid calmly with her blue gaze.
Listening to Astrid calmly nodded in understanding. The Greeks sudden arrival had certainly changed camp dynamics. Claire didn't exactly like them here, mostly out of the lack of trust. Of course Claire wouldn't exactly admit to her dislike of them. Of course she was in no way the only one who shared that view. "I completely understand...they certainly have mixed things up a bit" she noted. Though as he motioned to the Spatha she smiled at her. "Yes I would rather not be stabbed. I can take a hit but that is a whole new level. Maybe once your finished we can think about sparring" she replied with a light laugh.
When asked about how she had been Claire gave a soft shrug. "You know same old, same old. Running messages back and forth, training and finally getting a chance to relax at meal time. Other than that I am fine" she said with a smile. Claire rarely reflected back on how she was doing. Most days it was constant action be it running messages or her training. Not that she wasn't used to it.
