Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Elitsa was sitting perfectly still, cross-legged on one of the larger rocks in the forest. The stone was large enough to support her weight evenly, and it was smooth enough on the top to ensure a relatively comfortable seating arrangement. Eyes closed to her surroundings, she gave into the peace and solitude of the area around her. It wasn't as quiet as the temples were, but she hadn't needed the silence of the marbled walls today. Today she had wanted to meditate in the woods. Elitsa focused on her breathing, deepening and lengthening it while listening to the birds chirping. The wind gently toyed with her hair as she let her mind settle.
Then, all at once, the woods erupted into chaos.
She had feared some sort of large animal was hurt with all of the noise that had erupted. It sounded almost as if a herd of deer were fearfully running for their life. From her perched area, still cross-legged, Elitsa opened her eyes and watched as a single boy tore through the woods. Fire and flame were wrapped around him, bits of burning clothing following behind him like breadcrumbs. It was almost comical in the way that he thrashed about the woods, clearly unharmed but in no apparent control of the burning fury that was around him. Well, that's not good, Elitsa thought dryly to herself as she looked down at a small patch of burning clothing that was catching the nearby leaves on fire.
Elitsa got down off of her rock and put out the small flame that was threatening to grow. She followed his path silently, putting out any small burning bits that hadn't gone out as they had touched the ground. She came upon him in time to see him hit his thigh in apparent frustration. That action caused sparks to fly and scatter. In a swift movement the sparks caught and the tree before the boy began erupting in steady flames. Stepping closer to him though she could only see his very bare back she spoke, "For your sake, I hope you're Greek. Even Probatio won't protect you if you burn half of camp down. We're rather fond of-" The words stopped immediately as she had continue to move forward, seeing the face of the boy.
Not a Probatio and certainly not a Greek. She didn't know his name, but she had seen him around camp long enough to know that he was in the first cohort. Surprise led to a small smirk, not unkind, but instead finding this whole exchange surprisingly funny. She crossed her arms as she leisurely watched the flames dancing around the tree. "Do you have a plan or do you need assistance?"
Elitsa strode into the mess hall, intent on the direction of her table. The area of the mess hall that was designated to her cohort and her cohort alone. The same area that she had sat and eaten at for years. It rarely changed. Sure, there was an occasional celebration or war game that required a banquet of honor after, but for the most part, it didn't change. Today, seemed to be different. Elitsa had made it across the room and noticed that a few people were already occupying the space. People who were wearing orange and most definitely not permitted to sit where they were currently sitting.
Had Elitsa been anyone other than herself, those campers would have been in for a very rude awakening. Any number of her cohort mates would have had them wishing they had never set foot inside of the mess hall, much less the hallowed ground that they were sitting upon. And it most assuredly was sacred. They were not the first cohort but they had all bled and fought to get where they were. They had proven themselves worthy to sit under the second's banners. Thankfully for the misinformed Greeks, Elitsa was more forgiving. She knew what it was like to be new. What it was like to make mistakes and be in a foreign land with no choice that was your own.
So she let them have their meal, choosing to sit slightly farther down from them. The food appeared instantly and she couldn't help but listen into the conversation that was being said between the orange-clad strangers. There were complaints of schedules and training duties. Elitsa didn't bother to speak up, didn't care to draw any attention to herself. Instead, she took another bite as she listened, a small grin on her lips at how very unprepared they all were for what was coming for them.
[ STRONG ] Elitsa is a very strong person, mentally speaking. She has been through a lot and has only come out of it all stronger than before. She doesn't fear much and operates from her gut and instincts that have never let her down before. She's a hard one to break, in every sense of the word.[break][break] [ LOYAL ]She is fiercely loyal to Rome and to those who she considers her family. There is nothing she would not do for them, often setting aside her personal wants for those who she cares about. She values loyalty and if you cross her or those who she loves, she will never allow it to happen again. [break][break] [ REVERANT ] Elitsa views her godly lineage as sacred and always holds reverence in her heart for that bond. She's never one to talk ill of her godly parent nor any other godly being. She worships her mother dutifully as well as the other gods, albeit in smaller regard. She believes everything happens for a reason. Whether that's good or bad and that it is all the will of the Gods.[break][break] [ HONEST ] She doesn't believe in lying or sugarcoating anything. She is not a mean person, but she will not lie to guard someone against something that needs to be said. She is quite honest and open in every aspect of her life.[break][break] [ QUIET ]She tends to fade into the shadows a lot. She prefers to be on the outside looking in and loathes the idea of everyone's eyes on her. She isn't one to call attention to herself at all, nor is she one who enjoys chaotic noise. [break][break] [ DREAMER ]She knows her duties and she throws herself fully into her role in serving the legion. However, she also has ambitions and dreams outside of her duties that she keeps quietly to herself. [break][break]
Alvan Suman, a surgeon who was the son of one of the most wealthy financial advisors in the UAE had a long history of being a renegade. While his classmates were attending parties and flaunting wealth, he liked to stay home reading or find moments of solitude hiking or working out. Instead of following in his father's footsteps he had gone to college and dedicated himself to the medical field. Instead of living a life of luxury, he joined Doctors Without Borders and brought his skill to war-torn and violence-ravaged countries all over the world. It was perhaps that spirit of bravery and independence that caught the goddess of war's eyes. The two spent an evening together and though it was a night that he would never forget, she was gone in the morning and for months he hadn't seen a whisper of her. [break][break]
It was during that time when he fell in love with a woman who was very good at wrapping men around her finger. She had him convinced that she was every bit the empathetic, loving, and kind person that she pretended to be. The two were married in just a few short months and after their wedding, they received a gift that neither had expected: Elitsa. Bellona delivered the girl herself, giving the pair strict instructions on how she would like the girl raised and when to send her to the wolf camp. Alvan had fallen in love with the little baby from the moment he laid eyes on her. Dinah less so. [break][break]
Dinah resented the girl and would visibly sneer when her special lineage was ever brought up in her presence. The pair presented her as Dinah's daughter though and when Elitsa turned two, a half-sister was born. Elitsa loved the other girl, as did her father, but Dinah was convinced that his love was not as deep for Hazine as it was for Elitsa. Dinah paired the two girls against one another every chance she got. She would keep Elitsa home as much as possible, away from everyone's eyes while she flaunted Hazine. Elitsa was only nine when she learned that if she needed to be included, she had to make her own way. She became inept at climbing and scaling in and out of rooms. It became second nature to hide from her stepmother and appear when and where she wanted. [break][break]
Life wasn't too hard for the girl. She loved her father and knew of her true mother's identity from a very young age. She had never felt maternal warmth nor care from her stepmother, but she didn't mind. She never found herself looking for more, her father's love was enough. As the girls got older, a rivalry that Elitsa never participated in only grew stronger and stronger. Her half-sister turned vicious as the girl turned ten, Elitsa only twelve, as she began spreading lies and enacting cruel revenge on her whenever possible. [break][break]
One day, while the family was on vacation, the rivalry turned deadly. The family had been sailing far off the coast and Elitsa had been reading on the deck of their yacht. Dinah had appeared and grabbed the book, throwing it off of the side of the vessel. Elitsa had stood and raised her voice to the other girl. Dinah had then pushed her and Elitsa had reacted instinctively. Within mere seconds, she had the other pinned to the deck of the boat, her hand locking the other girl's arm and applying pressure. A scream had sounded and Elitsa had looked up to see Dinah. Knowing she would be immediately punished, Elitsa let go and Hazine had scrambled to her feet, hand reared back to punch her. Her father had run onto the deck the moment Elitsa kicked the other girl away. Hazine was pushed, and over the railing she slipped. [break][break]
Her father dived over the edge of the boat as Dinah stood screaming. Elitsa hadn't dared to move as she began praying silently in her head. The minutes felt like hours before her father resurfaced without Hazine. He dived in, twice more, two crew members joining him in the search before ultimately returning to the deck. Dinah's screams only got louder as clouds appeared over the craft, the waves and water turning violent. They had all barely made it inside as the boat began getting tossed by the waves. Dinah was screaming at Elitsa, curing her name, threatening revenge as her father and crew tried to right the boat. The vessel was tossed and when Dinah's screams finally stopped, the woman launched herself at Elitsa. Her father had jumped in the way, not seeing that the woman had somehow gotten a knife. In an instant, her father went down, and the ship rocked forcibly as it hit the sand. Her father never moving again. [break][break]
Elitsa became mentally numb as she watched her father fall, the light leave his eyes. Her stepmother grabbed her by the arm, dragging her over to the railing and throwing her off the ship. The ship had washed up on some sort of island, not that Elitsa had cared. Half of the crewmates began trying to get the ship free and the other half calming Dinah. A woman had appeared then and offered to help Dinah return home if she would allow her to keep Elitsa. Dinah had been more than willing and in the blink of an eye, her life changed forever. [break][break]
Elitsa was sold into service at C.C,'s Spa and Resort when she was only twelve. It hadn't been too much of a shock to her. Though she had never been exposed to such a magical world, she had never felt quite so close to her mother as she did while she was there. She missed her father, but life on the island kept her busy and the pain receded with each passing day. Though she wasn't a cruel boss, Circe, or C.C. as she liked to go by, was meticulous about every aspect of the island. There was no downtime. There was no such thing as a day off or a vacation. Time was never her own. Nothing was her own. She was not allowed weapons nor training. [break][break]
The days to months and the months to years. Time passed by in a blink and she turned sixteen on the island, convinced that she would never see another year outside of the island's borders. She had tried escaping a handful of times but quickly realized it was a wasted endeavor. So she remained, working on Circe's island and praying to her mother for an alternative. It was during that year when she met a boy who would change all of that. [break][break]
Elitsa met Corbin as a prisoner. One of the many males who were on the island. She had been only been passing through, passing by just one of the many cells, but he had spoken her name and it had made her pause. He had stood out, with his piercing eyes and demanding tone. She had listened silently as he had whispered an assurance that he could get her off the island. That he had a fool-proof plan. Offering her freedom. She only needed to get him out. Elitsa had left him, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with what he said. She had spent the next few nights thinking over his plan. Praying to her mother and the gods for wisdom. [break][break]
The answer had come in the form of the brooding boy. She had visited his cell, intent on telling him that it was too risky of an endeavor and that whatever plan he had, it would surely fail. Before she could say as much though, he had given her a blade that he had smuggled in. An olive branch of sorts. Elitsa had taken it, hid it among her clothes and felt the power that came with it. The power was not mystical, it was the power of being prepared. The power of protection and security in oneself. She had agreed to free the boy. [break][break]
Though his plan had sounded ridiculous, it had worked. The two, by the miracle of the gods, made it off the island. He told her of a camp for demigods like themselves. And they parted ways as she made her own way to the wolf house. She was a quick study in the art of the blade and fighting. She remained with Lupa for only five months before she was allowed to seek Camp Jupiter. Elitsa was claimed the day she arrived and was placed in the second cohort. She has been at camp for almost three years.
POWER:[break] [Telumkinesis, disarmament] Elitsa has the power to disarm an opponent with a gesture of her hand. She must have a clear line of sight to the person who she is focusing on and it mainly works on one person. She isn't very good at doing it to two people, even if they are close. If she tries to two or more, it might simply make the weapon more slippery or some other inconvenience. Nor is it a guarantee if it's a godly-gifted weapon. With children of Bellona, Mars, or Ares, it's much harder and requires a lot more concentration. The more she uses her gift, such as in a war game or battle, the weaker she slowly becomes. [break][break]
ENCHANTED WEAPONS:[break]Elitsa has around twenty blades that her mother has blessed. When she uses them, she can guide them to their target and they tend to always ring true.
