Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] His shirt was on fire.
Actual fire. Flames were sprouting from the purple fabric so fast he couldn’t even take it off in time. Now, accidents were prone to happen when you were a child of Vulcan, the god of the forge, who had also gifted some of his children with the ability to create and control fire… although Jonathan still struggled with the control part of his powers.
There was red. There was orange. There were yellow and perhaps bits of blue sparks here and there as he patted at the mess with his bare hands, not taking any damage from the heat. At least his powers were good for something and that was not burning himself with the flames he created by will - on accident.
Jonathan was jogging through the forest, rolling through the leaves, pushing himself against trees in an attempt to stop his camp t-shirt from burning to ashes. Unfortunately, it ultimately did burn to ashes. He dropped his gaze to the tiny pile of gray on the ground in front of him, almost entirely swallowed by the brown of the earth and the green of the leaves.
He was sure this was going to be the last shirt he ever received for at least a month now. Doomed to run around half-naked or in too tight clothes he would need to borrow from Rhi if she let him. The only positive thing was that he could still march into camp and to his barracks with his chest exposed without feeling embarrassed. At least all of the training had its benefits.
Still, as he stood in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nothing but trees and bushes and a cold breeze, he was disappointed by himself and his incapability to control his powers at least a little bit. Disappointed, he slapped his fist against his own thigh, sparks igniting as his hot skin hit the fabric. With only seconds to spare, he stopped himself, holding out his hands in front of him and barely keeping his pants from lightning up on fire too.
Instead, the sparks caught the tree next to him and it lit up, flames dancing around it as if they were celebrating.
Elitsa was sitting perfectly still, cross-legged on one of the larger rocks in the forest. The stone was large enough to support her weight evenly, and it was smooth enough on the top to ensure a relatively comfortable seating arrangement. Eyes closed to her surroundings, she gave into the peace and solitude of the area around her. It wasn't as quiet as the temples were, but she hadn't needed the silence of the marbled walls today. Today she had wanted to meditate in the woods. Elitsa focused on her breathing, deepening and lengthening it while listening to the birds chirping. The wind gently toyed with her hair as she let her mind settle.
Then, all at once, the woods erupted into chaos.
She had feared some sort of large animal was hurt with all of the noise that had erupted. It sounded almost as if a herd of deer were fearfully running for their life. From her perched area, still cross-legged, Elitsa opened her eyes and watched as a single boy tore through the woods. Fire and flame were wrapped around him, bits of burning clothing following behind him like breadcrumbs. It was almost comical in the way that he thrashed about the woods, clearly unharmed but in no apparent control of the burning fury that was around him. Well, that's not good, Elitsa thought dryly to herself as she looked down at a small patch of burning clothing that was catching the nearby leaves on fire.
Elitsa got down off of her rock and put out the small flame that was threatening to grow. She followed his path silently, putting out any small burning bits that hadn't gone out as they had touched the ground. She came upon him in time to see him hit his thigh in apparent frustration. That action caused sparks to fly and scatter. In a swift movement the sparks caught and the tree before the boy began erupting in steady flames. Stepping closer to him though she could only see his very bare back she spoke, "For your sake, I hope you're Greek. Even Probatio won't protect you if you burn half of camp down. We're rather fond of-" The words stopped immediately as she had continue to move forward, seeing the face of the boy.
Not a Probatio and certainly not a Greek. She didn't know his name, but she had seen him around camp long enough to know that he was in the first cohort. Surprise led to a small smirk, not unkind, but instead finding this whole exchange surprisingly funny. She crossed her arms as she leisurely watched the flames dancing around the tree. "Do you have a plan or do you need assistance?"
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] “A plan?” he repeated, gaze flicking towards the bright flames surrounding the tree faster than he’d like. His brain worked hard, trying to come up with something logical fast. “I have a plan,” Jonathan announced a moment before thrusting his bare hands into the flames. He had nothing to lose… except for his pants maybe but that was something he could worry about when it actually happened - if it happened. Hopefully, at least part of them would survive this ordeal. At least he didn’t have to worry about asking for a replacement for those.
As he stood in front of the tree, the fire started curling up around his wrists and the son of Vulcan just let it happen - his skin was fireproof after all. Now, what exactly was his plan? Heck, he didn’t know. Pretending that he had one seemed to be the best solution at that moment considering he was part of the first cohort anyway so surely someone like him could easily come up with a backup plan or really anything to get control of the situation.
Ha. He couldn’t even control the fire that stemmed from his own powers in the first place. How was he supposed to control the whole issue? Realization slowly started to kick in and the blond looked over his shoulder at the other demigod. “So… you don’t happen to have a fire extinguisher with you… do you?” he asked, his tone indicating that he was joking, although part of him kind of wished that she really carried around a fire extinguisher. The chances were low but never zero.
