Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

"everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth" she mused an old line as she smiled a bit her eyes stayed on his for a few moments, "I hope you do well" she told him as she looked away in thought for a few moments her eyes looked at the field, debating what to say "win or lose at least you will hopefully come home with all of your limbs" she mused unlike the other events where some could lose a arm, leg, or even an eye should things have gone wrong with however they went about things he thought as she sighed softly, "kick some gluteus maximus" she told him with a small smile, eyes calm and yet gentle thoughtful as she listened to the sounds around them.
"Oh you did like her" she mused, "I can tell grandaughter of Venus or not" she teased him lightly as she poked his knee, "trust me you do not want one of them sweet or not they have a ritual of breaking a loves heart" she mused at least Venus had it although it was odd. Thankfully a generation out of Venus she had no desire to do that when she would meet someone, "you may have dodged a bullet, maybe shes different...maybe not time will tell" she told him. Maybe the girls were different then Rome, but she would not worry about it, "either way...if shes watching make sure she knows what she lost" she told him with a smile.
Watching him as he took his shirt off she raised an eyebrow, "you sure you do not have Mars in you?" she asked him with a smile, she had started to say something when he started to the field, "hey Nat, if you win I will give you a real kiss" she called out to him with a faint smile on her lips, he was cute she thought not to bad in the way. Finding her place in the stands she debated for a moment, deciding to give him a pick him up after the bad news she thought.
Clapping she started to cheer for Nathan, as though she were cheering for a warrior to come home.
She wondered if losing would do either side much good as egos came into play on both sides, she sighed as she listened to how he saw the weakness, "he has some strong moves, be careful if he changes it up" she shook her head, "he gets his hands on anyone and" she snapped her fingers "one two three, that one could be trouble on anyone but she saw faults in the boy who had moments, but she wondered if it was an act which bothered her. If he could change it, and that would be over as soon as someone realized it "be quick on your feet, watch yourself and do not get hurt" she patted him on the shoulder, "it would be a shame if someone messed up that pretty face" she mused.
She noticed the look when she mentioned Aurora and raised an eyebrow in his direction, "hey do not shoot the messenger" she said as she held up a hand, curious as to what he had with her, "word is he saved several campers leading one last push to keep safe, they thought he had died" she looked at the fight below, "ten days later he showed up at the gate on a black bike" she shrugged, "some stories are a bit out there, from his brothers but who knows what really happened there" shrugging she could see a change there and reached forward, patting his shoulder.
"They are not worth it Nathan, remember they all have that rite to break someones heart that they like to do" rolling her eyes it was clear the legacy of Venus was not a big fan of her bloodline there, "find a cute Mercury girl maybe" she offered but patted his shoulder a bit, trying to cheer him up, "that and when you get ahold of him in the arena, make sure you show her what she may lose" a little motivation helped as she hoped to make him feel better after she had seen the anger in his eyes she gave him a faint smile, a bit of a flirt to her tone to him.
"and No I will not kiss you for good luck" she teased.
It was amusing to watch a roman demi god and there pride when they had it and how it went about, her eyes stayed on the field as she frowned. Her eyes stayed still for several moments, "you have not seen many of them fight before, you are bound to see surprizes" she mused, "we caught one cheating earlier with a jacket on, hid his hands and used it to make the sand wet" shaking her head she sighed, "knocked the referee on there gluteus maximus to" there was disappointment clear in her voice, "a son of mars no less getting involved we are putting him on punishment tomorrow" today was to enjoy she thought, they were suppose to have a good time and see what happened she thought.
Looking at the boy she shook her head, "nah not him, hes simple enough" she mused, "he always leads with his foot, watch which way he goes and you know his approch" she mused, "watch" she gave a nod as it happened, "no the one you have to be careful with was out here earlier. He has been hanging around the Greek Venus girl, Aurora" she brushed her hand through her hair as she looked over at the fighting, "He is the one that she waited for, and everyone thought dead. Now? he's here and from what the whispers are he changed after the battle at there camp" she rubbed her leg as she sipped her water which expanded in the cup "rumor has it he gained the blessing of daddy dearest" she mused it was a big deal with those Greek or Roman, a blessing from a god caught her attention.
Looking over when he mentioned the bet she smirked, a small laugh came from her "is that so?, you think you have such a great chance" she smiled, she was not being cold as she looked over "I think I will double my bet on that Greek Kid" she stood and walked over to a bookie and did so right in front of Nation, before she came over with her ticket and put it in her pocket, "careful Russo, your overconfident and they may give you more trouble then its worth" she was being honest, although she had placed her bet on the Greek Kid she would be amused if they did find one another in the arena.
Grown men grappling was not exactly her thing, but she had decided to do spears later and stayed around to watch and see what came about it. Everything was going well from what she could see as she stayed on alert. As part of the first she did her best to set a good example and see what people did and how they behaved. Those who messed up would be punished in the end as they were being bad. However it seemed uneventful she thought as she drank her water and looked over at the boys wrestling and then Nathan who was one of the best at camp at the event, cocking her head she frowned.
"worried that the new blood maybe ready to show you up Russo?" she asked as she sat down and sipped her water as she wondered what was on the boys mind, "they have some good ones in the greek side, that kid from Mars may tear you apart" she mused as she crossed her legs, she had seen him earlier in the day and he showed promise when it came to the hand to hand from what she had seen he could be a threat in the event. Two matches and neither had lasted long as he had pinned the roman he had come across.
"They are good" she admitted, "this could be better then anyone thought" she mused as she watched the events unfold. She had hoped things would stay busy and that things would be good to bond the two camps as they did everything that they could to make a difficult situation work. Those in New Rome were not happy and she wondered how long that this could make it without slaughtering one another. Only time would tell though she thought, today was about unity she thought as she looked over at Nation, a smirk playing on her lips.
"yea that Mars boy will pin you, I know where my bets going" she joked,
Meadow was sitting and watching the event her eyes on the battle, usually she would not be bothered but the whole area was busy as could be with things going on. Sitting in the stands she watched the battle between the two and her eyes followed each movement, they were good as were most a son of Mars who seemed good and his opponate who was odd with a jacket, cocking her head to the side she frowned a bit "odd" her eyes stayed on the hands as she frowned and noticed someone trying to get the refs attention and her eyes narrowed, that was when all Hades seemed to break down as she stood and made a move towards the area when she saw the wet sand "water demi god" she mused as she saw Iseult was pushed to the ground when things broke down.
"Hey!, no screwing with the referees" she called out as the water and sand that they had been using moments ago shot up into a cage which froze around the jacket demi god, "totally not cool" she said after a few moments as she looked over "you okay?" she asked her as she brushed herself off, she was not in the best of moods now as she looked towards the cage. As a daughter of Neptune she could handle water and that was her specialty when it came to it. The day was suppossed to be fun and laid back, but as she expected that they had times where people would do everything that they could do to win.
"people are jerks" she sighed as she rubbed her hands, "do you want me to hold them so you can handle it? or should I let them run off?" she was not happy someone had been thrown to the ground who was just doing what she had volunteered for she thought as she rested her hands at her side, unlike the boy in the jacket she did not need to hide her hands, or move them instead she seemed calm as though it were just a normal day as she eyed the cage, "move a finger and I may poke you" she called to him as a small dagger formed from the water at the boys side.
"Then we will just have to make sure that you do not get caught" she mused a bit, but made a note to figure it out so she would not be hungry, she had been there herself and hated that feeling that way on long days. Looking at her she paused, "maybe I can sneak something up and keep them busy" she mused a bit, "gotta keep my girl well fed, otherwise she will just waste away" a faint smile crossing her lips, "then again I would be the best at camp again" she mused a bit playfully she liked being strong, but she did not mind being a bit down the ladder as they had several stronger ones including her half siblings. Looking over she paused as she settled in and ate a bit of her own sandwitch and settled in a bit as she let out a small breath as her eyes closed, "they do make the best subs in town" she mused.
"Not really, they lost there home...I kind of feel bad for them it has to suck" she muised as she looked at the water, she understood the tension and was unsure as well, "I mean we should try and do something here, they are still family I guess?" she shrugged. It was odd as the gods had Greek Names and powers, and what they had been told that the two camps were very different in how they went about things. Her eyes stayed on the water, "thats kind of why I went easy on them, I mean is it fair to be hard when they are homeless? or do not have much?" she sighed, "as a whole, we could be treating them better" it was bold but Meadow was always that way.
"We can handle any threat" she said with a smile happy for a change of subject, "just have to get them a little wet and let you have your fun" she looked at her eyes soft, the two could be potent as any of them when they put the work together. Then again she was sure that any combination of Neptune and Jupiter could be dangerous she thought as she looked at her friend, "so are you done for the day?, or did they stick you with a night shift again, I have the midnight one" she asked as she paused, she had thought maybe putting a Greek Or a few would be a good idea, but realized no one at camp would trust them.
"what do you think about them?" she asked after a few moments.
It was Este she knew the girl as good as anyone else and she was happy to have one of her best friends there with her, they were part of the Cohart together which bonded them but they were also part of the big three when it came to the demi gods which was a rarity to the groups she thought although Este was of course from Jupiter she thought as she looked over as her friend sat down "hey stranger" she told her, "of course I have to take care of my girl, although next time I will bring you lunch at the gates, cant have you starving away Este" she mused as she looked at the water her eyes calm as she let out a small breath and slowly relaxed where she was. Being near Este was calming, she did not know why but she did like feeling close to her.
"Busy as always, training and duty in the barricks and weapons area, to make sure that they were spotless. The greeks seem to be dragging in more dirt and mud but its not bad for a start. I spoke with the head of the cabin that was there and he seemed...pleasent enough" shaking her head she paused, "I did not mark him down, I told him to have them get it spotless by tomorrow, next time they wont have a nice visit" scowling a bit she paused, "the others? hit or miss depending we will see, I tried to be soft considering that they just lose there home and are adjusting" she admitted despite it could get her in trouble.
"Anything interesting at the gates? or just staring outside of the cage called New Rome?" she asked as she relaxed as the water rushed up a bit but kept Este dry from it as she paused and sighed, "I almost feel like they should hang a sign on the gates saying do not feed the animals" she mused. Her family had lived here, she was expected to do the same, school, colledge, her term and then a family but she could be bitter about how enclosed that they were at times from the outside world. Hades they had just learned that there had been another camp, in new york that no one had been told about she thought as she picked up a rock and skipped it across the water.
It was late after noon as she finished training, most people were still training and later would be doing dinner. However Meadow slipped from the fields, her weapon side as she went about the day, "I will see everyone later, stay busy" she told the others as she left and walked towards the town where she got lunch and an ice-cream. Putting the food in a bag she walked down the street. She had debated going back to the barricks but decided against it and instead turned down the road towards the river. A local hang out spot that she often enjoyed she thought as a daughter of Neptune she frequented it as she felt at home when she was near the water. Even with the greek kids, some of whom were Poseidon's in the area she liked to think the river was theres.
Walking to the shore she sat down in the sand and allowed the water as she rested her feet in the water and allowed it to heal the sores that were from the days training. The demi gods of new rome always stayed busy so it was not surprising to her she thought as she opened the bag, two sandwitches were inside already and some french fries. Things that were high in fat but tastey and usually easy enough to work off anything that she ate. That and it seemed the children of Venus seemed to never gain weight she thought as she took a bite.
Feeling comfortable she closed her eyes and ate, leaning back on the sand as she started to hum a tune as she focused on the water small tornado in the water that was the size of a small sprout, focusing a bit she frowned "you know you could be a little more cooperative" she muttered a bit of a smile crossing her lips. She was not trying, and in the end it was fun as the water took several shapes in the water before it suddenly dropped to a flat surface. Without looking she picked up the bag and tossed it over her shoulder.
"sandwitch is in the bag, just how you like it...took you long enough I take it no one caught your little trip the other day?" she asked not even looking to see who it was.
Slipping from her bed she sighed and looked at the clock, it was already late at night and yet she had spent it tossing and turning in the bed. Although she was a quiet person she slipped from her bed and looked around. Glad that the room was dark and allowed her to leave quietly and head through the area. Already she had a place in mind, somewhere that she had enjoyed on the long nights. Careful to avoid being detected she soon found the baths and slipped inside. Closing the door behind her she looked at the clock, three in the morning when everyone should have been in bed and hopefully they were allowing her peace. It had not been the first time, that she had snuck out but she always woke up on time give or take a slow get up and go.
Slipping into the water her eyes closed, and she leaned back letting the water wash over her. She could see clearly under the water, thus she had not bothered to turn on the lights. Aware that it could attract attention, should someone be out and about. As a daughter of Neptune, the water was perfect allowing her peace. The water rejuvenating her tired and sore body she slowly came to life in its embrace. Slowly she washed herself, taking her time and enjoying the silence that came with the showers at night. Away from the loud noises, and the chaotic neutral that came when everyone tried to use them in the first Cohort.
Hearing a door open she paused as she slipped under the water quickly and pulled it around her in an attempt to blend in, slowly sinking to the bottom she crossed her arms and pushed herself against the wall as she looked up. Thankful that she was able breath as though she were above the water without issue. Settling in near the bottom of the baths she took a few moments and looked up hoping if she were seen that they would be a friend, and not someone who could get her in trouble she thought as she waited to see.
