Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Sera nodded, it was very true that Draco was looking a million times better, and she had hope that he would have a full recovery with minimum to no scarring. " He does doesn't he? He seems much happier too. Which is all I care about in the end. As long as he is healthy and happy, so am I." she wished that she could communicate with him the way that Mila could. Though she was not as lucky being a daughter of Dionysus. They seemed to understand one another well enough at least, and that was a blessing in and of itself. " I see that, he's standing as still as a little statue. Got to show off a bit I take it?" she grinned, though she couldn't help but laugh. It was as if he had something to prove, and she could understand that completely. She often felt that she was having to go above and beyond to prove her worth, especially now that they were here at Camp Jupiter. This place was so different than Camp Half Blood, and she often wondered what would come of them once the Roman's had enough of them infiltrating their home.
She smiled softly as Mila said it had been alright. " Good. I know its strange for all of us, I really hope that the attitudes get a little better in time. Though who knows what tomorrow holds." she was no seer, had no prophetic powers what so over, though she had hope. Hope that they would be in a better place soon. That they would learn to work one another with out too much animosity. Her question though had Sera a little surprised at first, though she had not wanted to think of it. The fact that her mother could so easily try to find her if she knew she was here. So much closer to home. Would she try to make her come back? Try to make her come home and help with the vineyard, use her powers to make the grapes grow faster? Who knew what she might do.
" I...I don't know. I hope she would not find out and that I would be safer here for it. Though if it comes down to it and we all have to leave. Well, who knows what she would do. I don't know, I'm afraid of going home. I can't even call it that really. It never really did feel like a home, not like Camp Halfblood did. There I truly felt at home. I won't lie, I'm afraid of her, afraid of what she would do." she sighed and tried not to think too much of it, running one hand gently over Oreius' neck.
She was right, that would likely help. " You are right. They could help quite a bit if we could manage it. I'm just trying to see if I could get to know some of the Children of Baachus here, see what they might be like compared to my siblings you know?" they seemed very different though, it was strange knowing that they shared a father but different aspects of him. How they were all of the same threads and yet so very different, man, the gods were so weird.
No sooner had she managed to try to kick to the surface did she hit her head. When she did, and she was starting to see stars it was through them that she was seeing flashes of the past too. You really did see your life flash before your eyes before you died apparently. Unfortunately, a lot of hers was memories she didn't want. Though mixed in were some good from her time at Camp Half Blood. She tried to hold onto those, tried to remember the most vivid ones before she felt someone grab her, their arms under hers as they kicked to the surface. She held onto him when he asked her to. Her head fell against his shoulder as he pulled her through the water and she prayed to all of the gods that they could get through this.
Sera coughed up some water when he had pulled her onto the embankment. Her body was hurting badly, she had hit a few rocks and things on the way through the river, and even where he had held onto her felt bruised, not that she was complaining. He had saved her life, and she would not be here if it were not for him. She wiped the water from her face when she lay back on the grass and he moved off of her though he bent lowly, his face less extremely close to hers. She nodded slowly, her sapphire blue eyes on his as he asked if she was alright.
Her throat felt like it was on fire from the water she had swallowed but she managed to croake out a few words, " I'm alright...thank you..." she felt a couple tears fall down her cheeks and she wrapped her arms around his neck, holding on to him tightly, needing that human touch in that moment. " You saved my life...thank you." she muttered the words and kissed his cheek in thanks before lying back on the grass. Pushing her soaked, dark hair out of her face. She didn't think she could ever repay him for this, for saving her. She had been so sure she was going to die.
Her head was pounding, she was pretty sure she had a massive knot on the back of it from the rocks. " Felt like my skull was trying to crack like an egg." she grumbled and tried to sit up, but she was super dizzy so she lay right back down. " So what do I call my hero? I'm Seraphime, but everyone calls me Sera." she was feeling a little better by the moment, even if her head was pounding like someone had hit her over the head with a sledge hammer.
Her earbuds were in her ears as she walked through the camp, the soundtrack from the Greatest Showman, her favorite movie, playing in her ears. She hummed along with it as she walked, keeping her eyes down to try not to attract too much attention. Being Greek in a Roman camp was not easy, and she was constantly on her guard, not sure of who might just want to toss them out of camp if they got the chance. It wasn't that she thought they would, but being this close to Napa, this close to her mother, had made Sera a little more ill at ease. She did not want to go home, she never wanted to go home. If she was tossed out of the camp, without a Camp Half Blood to go back to, she would have no choice really. It was go back to the vineyard or be on her own. Her mother knew full well with her powers that she would be able to make the harvests better and better at the vineyard every year, she would totally use her if she could.
Seraphime found herself travelling further from the barracks and buildings and some how found herself in the one place that a girl that was terrified of deep water should be. Right on the edge of the river. Rewrite the Stars was playing in her ears as she wrapped her arms around herself and watched the water flowing by over the rocks and things in the water. It had quite the current at the moment, and she guessed that it had been raining or something further up the river from Camp. Watching it flow by she could see a few fish in the water and she smiled a little at that, though it also reminded her forcefully of the creature that had tried to drown her all those years ago. She shuddered, and wrapped her arms even tighter around her body. She should just go back towards the camp, but it was rather peaceful down here, and she knew she would eventualy have to get over her fears.
Biting her lip, she took a few steps forward until she was right at the waters edge, glancing down at it she felt one of her earbuds start to slip out of her ear and she went to grab it. Unfortunately, when she did, she lost her balance and the next thing she knew, part of the embankment broke loose and she fell right into the cold water. She let out a little scream as she fell into the current and tried to fight against it. Kicking as best as she could, her clothes were weighing her down, and she was slammed into one of the rocks, hitting her head pretty hard. " ow..." she cried out in pain and was seeing stars. So much for getting over her fears.
As she kept fighting the current she cried out , " Help!" she sputtered as some water got into her mouth and she slipped beneath the surface of the water. It would appear she was getting into the deeper part of the Tiber and she couldn't keep fighting it. The pain in her head from her hitting it on the rock was making her vision blurry and she coughed before she slipped beneath the waters surface again.
Spotting Mila, Sera smiled. She had always rather liked the daughter of the sea god, they got along pretty well, and she never once had a bad thing to say about the blonde. They were polar opposites, but she figured that was why they were able to get along so well. It was obvious that her pegasus was giving her a run for her money and she was glad that Draconius had been a little more abiding for everything today than Oreius. " I can see that." she laughed a little and lead Draco back into his stall so he could eat. Putting his brush away she headed out and leaned her arms on the fence watching the battle of wills for bath time.
" Not too bad actually. Draconius is healing up well, so I took him out this morning. Think he really enjoyed stretching his wings. The burns look mostly gone at this point, thank the gods." she watched Oreius as he huffed in Mila's face. " Do you need some help?" she knew that the daughter of Posiedon was going to have a much easier time at this then she would, but she could at least distract the pegasus with sugar cubes and apple slices if needed so that bath time went a little smoother.
"Its so weird being here. Have you been adjusting ok? I have to admit, I really haven't, and its much too close to home for my comfort. Just knowing my mom isn't far from here is...just not fun." her mother had locked her in a closet a few times, much like Carrie's mom in the Stephen King book. Though she was a drunk, and not a religious zealot. The men coming in and out of the house were frequent, and Sera just had to watch it happen.
She climbed the fence and hopped down, digging in her pocket for a sugar cube to hold out to Oreius. Holding her palm out flat she set the cube in the middle of it and let him go to town while Mila focused on the task at hand. " Meet anyone interesting here yet?" she had been avoiding poeple for the most part, which was kind of sad when you thought about it, but she had all the same.
Camp Jupiter was so different than Camp Half Blood. She felt a true loss with the lack of the strawberry fields that she would spend hours in using her powers to grow them even larger than before thanks to the gifts of her father. She missed walking along the beach, even though the water terrified her, the breeze off of it felt great on her skin. Seraphime wished that she knew what to do about it all, about not having the home she had known for so much of her life. Living here, well, it was hard. Being this close to her mother, to Napa Valley, it was not a good feeling by any means and she hated feeling this close to it. As much as she loved the vineyard growing up, being near her mother was a terrifying prospect. She was going to have to stay in the borders at all times, because she knew her mother took trips to the city a lot, and if she knew that Sera was in San Francisco? No...she didn't even want to think about that.
Today, she had done all the training they had asked of her, but it was pretty mind numbing for her. She just went with the flow, doing her training but when she was done, it was all she could do to find something to get her head back in it. The Romans were an interesting bunch, but the glares they had saved for all of the greeks were not at all hard to miss. Sera was trying her best to avoid them, but it was more difficult than one might think. For now though, she chose to go to the stables. One of the pegasi from camp half blood she had a good connection with, a big palimino with golden wings. He had been injured during the battle at camp, one of his wings was severely hurt and he had been burned on one of his legs. Every since then she had been helping him to heal.
Today she had taken him out for a quick flight, his wing was better and and his burns had healed up at this point. They had flown over the camp, and she had gotten a good look at New Rome beneath them, the lay out of the land, all of it. It was bigger than she thought, but she wouldn't get to see much of it unless she was up here. She sighed holding tightly to the pegasus. She had never done too well on them, but this one just had an attatchment with her. When they landed she took him to his stable and brushed him down. " I miss camp too buddy." she sighed, running her hand over his face. " Doesn't seem the same here at all does it? I mean you have a little more area but, its not as big a sky for you hmm?" she heard someone cursing and raised her eyebrows, stepping out of his stall. " Hello? You alright?"

Bubbly, outgoing, and all around fun would totally describe Sera. She is the type of person that you just love to be around because she is always up for a good time! If things are too quiet she wants to start something like a party going, just so that people are enjoying themselves. She's quite a bit like her father, Mr. D, and she loves to have a good time. She is afraid of a few things, spiders, her mom, the things that go bump in the night. Yes shes afraid of her mom, but you would be too if she locked you in a room for hours on end as her many boyfriends came through her house. No one according to her would ever measure up to Dionysus. Which, seeing how he acted with campers sure confused Sera, though he was always a good dad to her, as much as one can be as a God. Since the attack on camp, the one place she always truly felt at home, she has been a little more down, a little more afraid that she will never feel at home anywhere again.
[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Being born into the Batali family had its ups and downs. She was rich, sure, but at the same time, there were a lot of skeletons in a lot of closets that she had to try to deal with. She lived on the sprawling grounds with her mother and their staff, and though she was a happy child most of the time, on occasion she found herself in bad situations. The first was when she was six years old and was in their pool swimming around like a happy little clam when something water monster showed up in the pool, it grabbed at her legs and kept pulling her under water. Though her mother was by the poolside tanning she never seemed to really figure it out, but one of the servants did notice, and jumped in to save the thrashing little girl. Since then, she has been afraid of swimming.[break][break]
Her mother started bringing home boyfriends, and she would lock her up in a room for hours, no food, no water, luckily access to a tiny bathroom, but she would be in there for hours. She would feel like there were things in the shadows watching her, and when her mother would finally let her out, she would tear off running down the hall to her own bright bedroom and stay there, curled up with her mythology books and her plushies. When she was just barely nine years old she ran away, after hours of being locked up in that room she climbed through the window, after figuring out how to pick the lock on the bars with a bobbi pin, and ran as far and as fast as she could, finally being found by a satyr, who brought her to camp halfblood, where she was later claimed by her father. She later became one of the only ones to ever go on a quest for the Dionysus cabin. It was a lot of hard work to get to that point, years of trying to prove her worth and show them that she could do it. [break][break] The attack on camp was the worst day she could imagine. She fought hard with her friends and half siblings, her vines wrapping around people where she could, her sword clanging against others, but it was not enough. The camp was on fire and there was nothing they could do to stop it. The one place she had always felt at home was gone, and she didnt' know what to do. Where to go from there was at the forefront of her mind, but she had campers to help tend to, and she was so afraid of what might happen next. when they were told they would be travelling to California she was afraid. Wine country, much closer to her mother. Not exactly a good feeling. She was afraid, but when they arrived at Camp Jupiter it was like a weight was lifted off of her. Seeing New Rome, the potential of not having to go to her mother again, not having to be away from the people she actually cared about, it was a lot to take in. Now, she is trying to figure out where she belongs, and what her life has in store for her next.
Normal Dionysus powers:[break][break] Alcokinesis, or the ability to control alcohol, usually wine, though being under age, she tries not to mess with that too much. Though she grew up on a vineyard so she has been around wine her whole life. She sees the power as kind of useless, and very rarely if ever uses it. Its nothing more than really a party trick. [break][break]
Chlorokinesis, or the power to control plants, limited to vine plants, such as grapes and strawberries. She used it more when she was at Camp Half Blood to help out in the strawberry fields, though if it came down to a fight if she could use the plants to attack people, wrapping them up in vines would be the main way she would use it now. [break][break]
Other than the normal Dionysus child powers, Sera also got the oh so wonderful power of inducing madness. She can either make someone crazy or help cure it. It totally wipes her out if she does it however, and its not something she likes to do often. sometimes in the process she will get flashes of whatever it is that is making the person crazy, and it terrifies her, or she will have things that pop up in her head from her own past as a side effect while using this power, in a sense, trying to drive her self mad at the same time.
