Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Iseult didn't hesitate when she was assigned to be a referee. She had expected the Greeks to cheat. She was a witness of one of the rounds they cheated on, having help from a daughter of Neptune to expose them. Being a referee was tedious work. The daughter of Bellona had spent all morning and afternoon watching after the fights until it was finally time to grab supper. Hungry and thirsty the brunette made her way over to the feast, her clothes still somewhat covered in sand from the arena after being tossed onto the ground.
She brushed it off, for the most part, and grabbed a piece of garlic bread as well as a cup of the punch, not suspecting anything wrong with it. However, she should have thought better. Of course, it was spiked. It didn't take long to affect her, her vision blurring and her mind spinning. Before she even realized she found herself back inside the arena which was, fortunately, empty for the most part. However, she did see someone frolicking around with one of the helmets and immediately the dutiful side inside her kicked in and she tossed her bronze goblet towards the person wearing the helmet. "Heyy. This is Roman property!"
Avery should have known better than to drink something that was handed to her by one of her siblings. She truly should have known better. But alas, she had been happy to partake in the revelry. Happy to enjoy a moment of happiness with all of her half siblings instead of the tense fighting that had been gripping the camp as of late. She hated all of the fighting. She hated all of the tense drama. It felt as if everyone was on the edge of war and just looking for an excuse to fight. So she had accepted the drink and drank it down.
A few moments later she then found herself absolutely giddy. There was a flush on her cheeks and a slight sway to her steps. Not that she cared. She didn't care about much at the moment. Excluding a very fancy Roman helmet that had begun calling her name. She had made her way out of the party, heading towards the fighting arena. Avery had found the helmet right off the bat, sliding it onto her head. She then grabbed a sword from the wall, giving her best impression of a roman warrior. Her beautiful masterpiece of fighting was cut short though as a clattering sound gave way near her. Avery jumped a good few feet to the side, being almost unable to see out the front of the helmet. She looked around for the voice of the person, holding her hand to steady the helmet as she spoke, giving her best intimidating voice before erupting into giggles, "You'reroman property."
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] The daughter of Bellona stumbled, stumbled, into the arena area where part of the Olympics had been executed earlier. She lowered her gaze, watching her feet move with all the will she had left... one foot after another... well, didn't work out as much as she wanted it to. She stumbled towards the other female with the helmet covering her face. The stranger replied to her with something she did not expect. Yeah, she was... indeed Roman property... being the daughter of a Roman goddess.
Swallowing hard, Iseult slightly stumbled over, grabbing one of the dull spathas from one of the holders. She gave it a twirl, making it not-so-elegantly swirl in her hand. Slender fingers grabbed the hilt, although her hand was feeling a little sweaty from whatever she had drunk earlier, and raised the blade at the weirdo. "I am indeed... Roman... property. Iseult, daughter of Bellona, legionnaire of the second cohort." She introduced herself, her words slightly slurring as she spoke and waved the tip of the dull blade at the brunette. "What are you? Trash?"
The girl swayed in place, or perhaps Avery was the one who was swaying. She couldn't be certain. The girl moved forward and Avery was then completely certain that she had made a grave mistake. The girl grabbed a weapon off the wall and twirled it in her hands as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Avery could only watch as the blade spun around faster than her eyes could track. The girl then began to list off her lineage and Avery felt her brain physically begin to get fuzzy trying to follow the long list of words that sounded super important. Avery bowed, "Nice to meet you Iseult, daughter of the Bellona and master champion of Rome." Avery straightened up, putting a hand to her heart. "I am Avery Barringer. Daughter of a marine biologist and also Mercury and with the Greeks of the….Greek Barracks." She bowed again, slightly stumbling forward.
She righted herself, forcing the helmet to remain steady on her. It was much larger than she had anticipated, but it was also too cool to take off. The other girl radiated pure badassery, she could only hold tight to the helmet and hope that some of it rubbed off. "So. Want to spar?" She could think of a million things more logically sound than offering to spar with a Roman, but it seemed like a fun idea at the time. She then bounced on the balls of her feet, trying to warm up. "Should we like…rock, paper, scissors to see who charges first?"
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Squinting, and narrowing her eyes the silhouette in front of her Iseult spoke, "Daughter of the Greek Barracks." She nodded as if it was the most logical thing in the entire world. She gave the girl a quick once-over, shaking her head at her physique. Iseult didn't know what exactly it was about her that screamed Greek but something sure did. The girl's face was still at least half hidden by the helmet when Iseult stepped closer. "Daughter of the Greek Barracks... you really want to spar?" Iseult asked, raising her eyebrows inquisitively.
The dull sword fit into her hand like it was molded perfectly into the skin. She could feel the weight, just perfect, in her hand. Iseult was usually just a tiny bit careful about her opponents but something, probably the drink that was spiked, made her care less about those things... those possible advantages and weaknesses. She grinned, laughing like a fool. "Rock, paper, scissors? I only know knife. But bring it one... daughter of the Greek Barracks." She slurred, her vision wobbly with each step she took towards the daughter of the Greek Barracks.
Iseult held out her hand and shook it, the different formations of her fingers showing until her hand was curled into a vulgar gesture. "What could possibly win against this??"
[attr="class","THREAD1TAG"]Avery Barringer ; woooow i did not realize I repeated myself but idgaf
Avery nodded, pleased that her magnificent lineage also caused recognition in the other girl. She was slightly concerned that perhaps the other girl might not have known of her incredible genealogy but thankfully she did, so all was well. Avery moved her hand in a way that acknowledged the other girl, like two noblewomen recognizing the other. The other girl then looked her up and down, shaking her head and Avery thought that was quite rude. Sure she could have dressed more fitting but she hadn't known she would be battling royalty. She would have dressed better for such an occasion. "Sure. I suppose. If you are so…inclined as well and what have you. Though I admit, I am far behind your magnificents." Did that make sense? She thought so.
The other girl looked positively in her element as she faced Avery. She spoke boldly of wielding a knife and Avery giggled, "Please don't kill me." It was a fair sentiment. She surely meant it. She wasn't of sound mind enough to beg the other girl to take it easy on her. To relay that she was perhaps not entirely in her senses, but alas all she could offer was the giggly plea. The other girl commented about her own prowess and Avery stopped, raising the helmet off her head just a bit so she could smile appreciatively, "I don't know man. Not me but like…I could totally give you some practice?" She shrugged, the helmet rattling back down against her head. She moved to the nearest weapon's hold. Realizing that she didn't have a weapon at all in her hands. "What…uh." Her eyes scanned the wall. "What do you recommend?"
