Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

It was late and definitely time for her to be in the barracks. Yet Stella found herself unable to sleep again. She had gotten a few hours of sleep before a nightmare caused her to stir. She figured a little fresh air would possible help clear her mind enough to sleep again. Somehow she had found herself in the garden. It was peaceful enough and hoped no one lingered out here. Of course she could of easily used magic to help her sleep but she didn't feel like casting any spells on herself.
A bad dream was something mostly unavoidable but hopefully sometime would calm the nerves. She didn't plan to stay out long for fear of getting caught out here. She found herself sitting by the fountain staring at the reflection of the night sky above. Her dark hair was left down and not pulled back like usual. She allowed her thoughts to wander casually. Letting them come and then fade back to nothing. A simple technique to clear her head. The silence and peacefulness of this place certainly helped a great deal in helping.
Of course as she was busy minding her own business she became unaware of approaching footsteps. Stella remained oblivious to this as her mind wandered. It could have easily been some Centurion about to find her and get her in trouble. And yet she wasn't even paying attention to notice.

Morrigan had spent the majority of her evening at the Caldecott Tunnel entrance. She and Dareios both had taken to pulling guard duty when it was needed. They were woefully understaffed. The barriers had been malfunctioning so guards had been placed throughout the camp at near constant rotation throughout the day. Those patrols were in conjunction with the rounds that they were already attending to which meant that they were now always in an all-hands-on-deck situation. Tonight was no different, so she had taken up her shift at the tunnel.
It was one of the few places that she actually enjoyed guarding. It was outside of the realm of Camp Jupiter so it was prone to whatever weather environment the mortals were experiencing. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the actual camp and New Rome so it tended to be quiet and peaceful. Plus there was no telling what one could come across, so it was always interesting. Tonight was no different. She watched mortals speeding, a few police cars dotting the highway. A few big rigs with odd advertisements that she couldn't place passed by. No lone travelers from Camp Half-Blood though and no monsters, so on the whole it was as normal a night as she could ask for.
She had switched off with her relief and made her way back to camp. Morrigan, on a whim, had decided to take the scenic route, passing by the Garden of Bacchus. The night was too peaceful and quiet to head straight back. Her steps carried her lightly through camp, making her way towards the floral oasis. She had almost moved past them without incident, on the way to her bunk, when a figure caught her attention.
The moon was full, but it wasn't enough light for her to discern just exactly who was sitting among the flowers. Either way, it was someone clearly disobeying orders. Morrigan walked over, a frown on her face as she suspected it was one of the Greeks. She stopped short of the person, a female, judging from behind her. Morrigan crossed her arms in front of her chest. "It's well past curfew. Care to enlighten me as to why you're out of bed?"
Certainly Stella hadn't intended to stay out too long. Hoping to be back before anyone could even see her out here. She hadn't even heard the approach of footsteps until it was far too late to really do anything about it. Of course she half expected it to be some Centurion but the moment she heard the voice of Praetor she knew she was in for it. Great a simple moment to clear her head so she could go back to sleep ending up with her getting caught.
Mentally she cursed to herself before lifting her gaze to turn and face Morrigan. Her emerald gaze caught the light of the moon slightly. She figured there was no real reason to lie. She was out here because she couldn't sleep and needed the fresh air to clear her head. She also thought lying to her Praetor was a very bad idea. She rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "I...I couldn't sleep after a nightmare so I originally went outside to get fresh air and clear my head enough to get back to sleep. I was planning on heading back shortly actually..." she told her.
Stella was an honest person. Though she probably could of simply used her own magic to help herself sleep she didn't really enjoy using magic in such ways. There was more important uses for her magic, like when she assisted in helping with the magic barrier around camp. She knew she had broken the rules but hoped Morrigan wouldn't be to angry. Seeing most campers would most likely lie and make up a reason for being out here. Stella was at least being truthful.
Morrigan shifted her weight as she waited for the other person to say something. The small gravely rocks underfoot shifted along with her and she tried to will some patience into her brain. At the very least, she expected this person to say something in response to her question. She would much prefer them to actually turn and address her, but if it was a Greek she prepared herself to face the very least of those expectations. Thankfully, that patience hadn't been needed as the female turned towards her, the moonlight illuminating her features.
Morrigan recognized the other Roman girl. She was a child of Trivia, and in the Fourth Cohort along with almost all of the other children of the goddess. Her first name was out of her grasp but she knew for certain that her last name was Johnson. She prided herself on knowing the members of her Legion. It wasn't just personal, it was strategic and necessary for the safety of them all. Faces to names and then lineage and then cohort. It was a system that had served her well. It was currently proving itself invaluable as the flooding of new faces filtered through their ranks. She relied on it to discern through stranger and ally.
She couldn't fathom the way the Greeks sorted themselves by godly lineage. It didn't make sense to her and she would have wagered that it had been part of the issue in their camp burning to the ground. There was no way to control that chaos and panic unless you had trained for it. Unless you had order and commands in place. Things which the Greeks most assuredly not do.
Morrigan listened quietly as the girl spoke about having a nightmare. She walked closer to the fountain, where the other girl was perched and sat down near her on the ledge. "Ah. This would be the spot to go for some peace and quiet." The concrete was nice and cool, small sprays of water caught on the wind and landed gently against her face and arms. It was calming and serene. She could see why the other girl had made it to the spot. "I don't encourage breaking curfew, especially with how many strangers we have running around camp, but I think we can let it pass this time."
They had all been under so much stress, more than she could have ever anticipated. It wasn't just the strangers and the fear of a traitor among them, but also the barrier malfunctioning and terrifying visions that had seemed to be plaguing Kade. They were all dealing with a mountain of issues and problems and that was all on top of the ones that teenagers normally dealt with. Being a demigod was never easy. She could forgive one infraction due to it all. She glanced over at the other girl, slightly hesitant to ask, "Do you…need to talk about it?" She was the last person who should be offering a shoulder to lean on, but she was a Praetor after all. She couldn't just ignore the other girl's pain.
Stella hadn't expected Morrigan's reaction to be at least sort of okay with being out here. Though she figured everyone at this point was under a lot of pressure with more and more Greeks showing up. It was crazy to think that within just a few days everything had changed and been turned upside down. Though her attention stayed on Morrigan as she watched her take a seat. "Yes certainly it is. Even during the day its nice. Never crazily crowded" she told her calmly.
Though the dark haired girl was shocked to hear about Morrigan letting this pass. Stella was thankful for that actually. "I completely understand, but uh thank you" she told her calmly. There was definitely some sort of relief. She pushed a strand of her dark hair out of her face. Her emerald gaze looking around and then returning to Morrigan. It was hard to think just how quickly the Greeks presence had changed the dynamic of this camp. Of course at times it was tense but there was very little she could do to change that. They had different ideals and different ways of how things were done.
The worse idea was just how rapidly things changed and in some cases became overwhelming. Everyone seemed to be on high alert and every time of the day. She seen the tensions between both sides everyday. Of course Stella did not hate the Greeks she just didn't trust them. There was plenty of reasons not to trust them. Though when Morrigan brought up talking about her nightmare she was definitely not expecting it. "I wouldn't wish to trouble you with my own problems...I am sure you have enough of those around here at the moment" she told her calmly. Stella didn't want to trouble her further of course. She knew it couldn't be easy with everything going on.
Morrigan only nodded when Stella mentioned that the place wasn't usually filled with bodies. She agreed of course. Though lately it seemed like no one had much free-time to lounge about. The only time most legionnaires got to themselves was indeed during night time. The Greeks tended to be a different sort in the matter, but that was a whole other beast that they were trying to tame. Apparently most of them had no semblance of leadership nor responsibility. The whole idea of rules and boundaries seemed foreign to them. It was enough to give her a headache. She could never imagine living a life like that.
Morrigan nodded as the other girl mentioned a thanks. "Have you by any chance gone to the borders lately? I meant to swing by the fourth cohort to see if anyone had made any progress." The camp's barrier system had been acting up recently. Not enough to cause panic or worry. Just enough to warrant asking the children from Trivia to repair and monitor them. She and Dareios had gone so far as to have a full rotation of kids from Trivia who could monitor the weakened spots, repairing them and looking for a solution to fix it. No one was sure, but it was suspected it was something magical or mystical based. And not all of the Trivia kids were in the fourth, but a majority were. Enough for it to function to something the Greeks would consider a house she supposed. That was something that she had never quite understood. The Romans and their hesitation with magic and mist based things. There was something to be said about hard and physical work, but the things that children of Trivia could do certainly could stand up on their own.
Morrigan's thoughts were pulled from her own to the girl in front of her. The other girl spoke about her having enough problems and it caused a small chuckle to leave her lips. Gods knew that was certainly the truth. "Well you have me there, but if you'd like to talk, I don't mind." She gave an earnest half-smile. She could listen. She was sure of that. Though she couldn't promise that her advice would be helpful, nor that she could offer much in the way of comfort if the girl began to cry or something of the sort. But she could listen. If only Kade or someone more adept at talking with others was here. She would know what to do. It seemed to come natural to her. Not Morrigan though. It had never, nor would ever she suspected.
With the Greeks arrivals the dynamics around camp had changed drastically. Though it seemed to slowly get better as everyone adjusted there were small things that couldn't go ignored. Both sides having different views on things. That and the sudden issues with the barriers. She was only aware of it because she was helping patch them up. Stella always had enough to keep her busy and helping with the barrier was among them.
However as Morrigan asked about the barrier she gave a simple nod. "Yeah I was over there just before it was time for bed. Made some progress in repairing them but still no solution to keep it from happening. Don't even know what is causing it yet" she told her. Stella had been working hard and helping with the barrier. It was a huge mystery as to why it was happening and how to keep happening. There wasn't much to go with. Though there was the thought of it just being so many there. Though the idea seemed very unlikely. Hopefully soon enough they could find at least some answers. From there they could create a permanent solution. a
"I mean we all have been under a lot of pressure" she told Morrigan. She offered her a light smile. Though Morrigan offered her someone to talk to she gave a nod. Stella didn't wish to trouble her out of respect to they all were dealing with a lot. "It was nothing but a bad dream" she told her with a nod.
