Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Skylar was taking a stroll around the Principia, watching the guards and trying to figure out their daily routine for the day. They had already caught up with him and decided to switch up things every single day. He wasn't sure if they were fine with it or if it annoyed them even more. Either way, he was amused by it.
The son of Mercury was just about to take his chance and sprint towards a column near the entrance door when he subconsciously shifted gears and basically flew towards somewhere else. Oops. He did it again.
Skylar just couldn't get used to the speed traveling... especially since he just couldn't get a hold of it. After all these freaking years, he still wasn't able to get any control over it. It's like his dad knew he was going to cause trouble and cursed him. Maybe he was afraid his son would end up becoming a bank robber like Flash. Well, Skylar definitely wouldn't mind.
SPLASH.
His feet had dragged him to the bathhouse and the pool within a second. He didn't even want to know how he made it past the walls or if he had opened the door. He couldn't even stop himself in time. His feet came to halt the moment he was already falling towards the water - what he didn't know was that he accidentally dragged someone down with him.
Skylar was sure he lost consciousness for a moment if only a brief moment. He opened his eyes, confused about why he was somewhere underwater until he remembered speed traveling and hitting the water’s surface. That’s where his memories ended but apparently nothing much happened in between those seconds.
He was losing air to breathe, his cheeks already puffed up to full capacity. He wasn’t the most innocent person out there. Anyway, he tried pointing upwards to tell them to go up and tried mouthing a SORRY but as he did so his mouth filled with water and his reflexes kicked in, his left leg involuntarily swung forward and may or may not have hit the person.
The next second he found himself on the other side of the room - by the gods... again. Today was not a good day and he still had more than half of it left to suffer through. Might as well speed travel to the Underworld.
Sienna had always wanted to travel. She had always wanted to visit the West coast to go to Coachella, or visit Sedona, or maybe even go to Burning Man where her parents first met. But she hadn’t come here on vacation, she hadn’t even come here on a quest, Sienna had come here running for her life with the rest of Camp Halfblood.
Sienna was a positive person, she always did her best to try and see the good in all situations. So far finding the good in Camp Jupiter had proven challenging. The Romans were all about a strictly regulated military lifestyle. It was all about training to fight, and getting in formations, and everyone having a rank. Honestly Sienna hated the way things were structured here. There wasn’t a whole lot of room for Demigods that didn’t like to fight.
Sienna had discovered that there was one thing about the Roman camp she actually liked, the bathhouse. Sure Camp Halfblood had a beautiful lake and the cabins had showers, but they did not compare to the beauty of the Roman baths. After fleeing for her life across the country and feeling deeply out of place at Camp Jupiter a spa day was exactly what she needed.
Sienna had carefully tied her hair into a bun on top of her head. She had just dyed her hair a neon pink and was hoping she could enjoy the bath without getting her hair wet. She was wearing a purple bikini with a blue flower pattern. Sienna kicked off her flip flops and move to the edge of the pool and dipped her toe in the water, pleased to find that the water was warm.
Then something, or more accurately someone collided with her and she went right into the water. A small cloud of pink dye formed around her hair. She could see that the one who had dragged her into the water was a guy, and it almost looked like he was trying to say something to her. And then he kicked her. It wasn’t too hard of a kick, there was water between them cushioning the blow. She moved to shove this guy away but found nothing but empty water.
Sienna emerged from the water, pink hair flopping over her face. She cleared it away and looked around for a moment trying to figure out just what was going on. She spotted him across the room.
”What the Hades dude?” she said glaring at him pink dye running down her face.
People pushing each other into water was an old prank. But it seemed rude to have shoved someone so violently into the water when you didn’t even know them. She bobbed beneath the water smoothing her hair away from her face and pulling it once more into a bun on top of her head.
”Is this like a hazing thing your doing to all the new Greek kids or something?” She sounded more annoyed than anything.
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Rubbing water out of his eyes he shook his head like a dog, spraying even more water everywhere around him. He let out a sigh of relief, considering he was still alive. That was an achievement to celebrate. He could have drowned but he didn’t. His ability, or lack thereof, had catapulted him into a sticky situation and out of it. For a moment he completely forgot about the other person, barely remembering what happened to them underwater. Oops.
Immediately Skylar slapped his hands together and rubbed his palms against each other in an apologetic manner. “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry,” he said repeatedly and out of habit. The number of times he had to apologize because of situations like this, perhaps not as wet as this one which was a first, was way too high. It could have been considered a miracle that none of the children of Mars or Bellona had killed him, although, there were a couple of attempts he could not deny had happened in the past… the very recent past.
“Well, technically since you’re a demigod it should be what the hades or maybe what the pluto since you’re here at Camp Jupiter. But it doesn’t sound as good as the greek one I suppose,” the brunet said, running a hand through his wet hair. He took in the sight of the pink-haired girl. Oh boy, she looked mad, he thought, crawling closer to the wall. His back was pressed against the tiles and he held out his hands in a gesture that would hopefully portray his defenselessness in case she was thinking about murdering right now, right there.
“Umm sorry. I really didn’t mean to do that on purpose. I sometimes run… and forget to brake.” He chuckled nervously, wiping water out of his face. Skylar tilted his head to the side and shook it in an attempt to get water out of his ear. Her voice was slightly muffled but he could still hear her accusation just fine.
Scrambling into a standing position he pushed himself away from the wall, his wet clothes slightly sticking to the tiles and freeing themself as he moved towards the edge of the pool. “Besides, it’s not so smart of you to out yourself as a Greek right away.” Skylar pressed his lips together, narrowing his eyes at her as he looked down and held out a hand to help her out of the water. “Uh- you… you got something on your face-” he started and paused, blinking at her. “Are you bleeding pink?”
He said sorry over and over, it seemed more like a habit than a sincere apology. In fact now that he decided to correct her on using the word Hades she was certain he actually sorry for anything.
She glared at him for a moment before finding the words to explain herself. ”You ever get mad and say what the Texas, or what the Michael?” she said pointedly ”No.” she answered for him.
Sienna knew that her opinion on this matter differed from other demigods. Of course she said Hades when speaking about a God or about the underworld, but this was different. Hades had become her favored expression of surprise or anger, it was a way to add a bit of flavor to angry words. Sienna had initially preferred a different four letter word for cursing, but Chiron repeatedly punishing her with clean up duty had broken her of the habit of dropping the f bomb. ”I’m cursing, I’m not speaking about a person for a place. Seems like a pretty bad idea to use the Gods names in place of curse words. I don’t know about you, but Hades is one God I wouldn’t want pissed off at me.”
He had backed himself up against the wall and was apologizing once more. For the first time she had realized how he was dressed. If you were going to run around tackling people into pools you would probably change into a swimsuit, and he was still wearing regular clothing. Her expression softened a bit ”You really did this by accident didn’t you?”
He mentioned forgetting to put on the breaks. When she thought about it she couldn’t remember how he had got out of the pool with her, he must have had some sort of power that let him do that. Maybe he could teleport, or maybe he had super speed just like she did.
He told her is wasn’t smart to “out” herself as being Greek. Every time she started to feel sympathy towards this guy he had to open his mouth say something that irritated her. First off, this was the second time he had tried to correct her. She had no patience for mansplaning, or anyone who treated her like she was stupid. Secondly he had implied that being a Greek demigod was something that needed to be hidden, There was no denying that a number of the Romans had been a bit hostile towards the Greeks. Maybe it would be easier to keep her head down and do her best to blend in, but blending in and staying out of trouble had never been Siennas style. ”Pretending to be someone I’m not is only something I do in front of Mortals.”
The main reason Sienna had chosen to come to this camp was so she could be herself. After Camp Halfblood fell she could have just gone back to the mortal world. She was a child of a minor Goddess and wasn’t high enough on the power scale to attract a lot of monsters. She probably would have been fine living in the mortal world so long as she never stayed in one place for very long. Sienna had chosen to live in a place where she could continue to be open about who she was, and she wasn’t going to let the threat of militant Roman bullies scare her off.
He approached the side of the pool and offered her a had up. Now that she was in the water and her hair was safely on top of her head where it wouldn’t continue to be damaged she had planned on just staying in the water for a while. Part of her wanted to refuse his outstretched hand after what he had just said to her. Yet she came up with a better idea.
Sienna accepted his hand and got out of the pool. He commented on the bleeding pink hair dye running down her face, but she ignored the comment. Once her feet were firmly on the ground she took off at super speed sprinting to the other end of the pool where a pile of towels was stacked. She paused briefly and grabbed two towels before speeding back to him.
Sienna didn’t typically show off her powers like this, but this was a special circumstance. If she had guessed correctly he had super speed but terrible control. The Romans like to think they were so superior to the Greeks, Sienna had an opportunity to show him up at his own game. It was true Sienna couldn’t keep up her super speed for long, but she had perfect control over stopping and starting. Being able to start and stop easily on a wet tile floor proved it.
She stopped a few feet away from him and tossed him a towel. She began to wipe her face and neck along her hairline where the pink dye was undoubtedly the worst, waiting to hear his reaction. The Romans may have been great at running all of their military drills and fighting as a unit, but clearly they weren’t doing a good job of teaching demigods how to master their individual powers.
