You would never meet anyone quite so sweet and talented as Kadence. She tends to exceed in all of the creative arts and has one of the voices that you just have to listen to. She is soft-spoken when she talks, but when she sings she's a powerhouse. She is often found sitting on a tree branch writing either her stories, poems, or a song. She is just very creative and outgoing, but she can be quiet around others if she gets into that creative mood because her brain just wires itself to pay attention to it.[break][break]

She has never met her father, though she knows that he looks out for her as he has gifted her with so many wonderful talents. She can be a little flighty at times, as she concentrates so much on the creative she forgets about the practical. She loves being outdoors and spends as much time as she can out there, especially at sunrise.[break][break]

Within her cohort, she tries to fit in, but many of them look at her as the weirdo with the visions. Though she can't control them and they know that. They do trust her to keep them safe though, and so they do watch out for her when she has a vision that knocks her down. She is very kind, and it's hard not to love her.[break]

Kadence was born in Houston, Texas on a very hot July Fourth. She was always a very quiet child, even from the beginning she very rarely cried. Her mother, Calliope, was an artist working hard to make ends meet until she met Kade's father, a man that showed her one little trick and helped her art to become legendary. It was always beautiful from there on out and sold at high rates. They fell in love and just a year later, Kadence was born. Her mother had a feeling that her father was more than he acted to be, an art collector, and she found out shortly after she was pregnant that he was Apollo. It was a bittersweet moment, and the two split shortly after Kade was born. Kade's only memory of her father feels more like a dream to her. He was smiling at her above her crib as he hung a painting on the wall, one that stayed up in her room in their now huge home in Houston. He had made it himself, and it was the only thing she owned that she cherished more than anything else. When she was twelve years old, weird things started to happen. She always felt like she was being followed after she left her art classes and she never could see who was following her. It was terrifying for the girl.[break][break]

Then one day, her last day of school before summer a creature the size of a truck started chasing her down the street, it was scary to behold, it looked like the minotaur in her mythology book and it was chasing her as if its life depended on it. Just as she was rounding the corner someone grabbed her and pulled her into a nearby building, covering her mouth to keep her from screaming. They introduced themselves as Jasper, a demigod, and explained to her what was going on, and what she really was. When it felt safe, they headed for her home so that she could pack and say goodbye to her family. It killed her inside to have to tell them goodbye, and Andrew, her little brother, cried for hours wondering why he couldn't go too. When morning came she and Jasper left, and he took her to the Wolf House. When the sun was coming up she could have sworn she saw a bright red car going through the sky with a man behind the wheel who tipped his sunglasses at her, though she could never be sure. The great Wolf Lupa trained her and helped her to come into her own.[break][break]

When she passed her tests she made her way to Camp Jupiter. It was there that she was claimed by her father, who came in front of the camp and told her that she was his daughter, and she was to be the camp Augur. She had the gift of sight and would be able to help the camp in their times of need. She, unfortunately, did not see everything that was to come, but she tried her best to help. She became part of the second cohort on that day, and she learned what it truly was to be a Roman.[break]

Kadence has the usual gifts of Apollo children, though she hates it when the precognition pops up. It's very uncomfortable to her and she never knows how to handle it, so she tries to ignore it, which of course tends to have terrible results. Usually, her visions can knock her flat, and so many of the other Romans believe she is weak. Though, as she has this power and it's rarer, she is the Augur for Camp Jupiter. She works closely with the praetors to read what her visions are telling her and as such has a very good relationship with them. She knows her visions are not always accurate, but the worst ones always tend to be correct.[break][break]

She is also gifted with photokinesis, she can control light if she needs to, though when she does it wears her out to the point of needing a nice long nap in order to recharge her batteries so to speak. She only uses it when she absolutely has no choice, but she doesn't like for people to know that she has that ability. She is a gifted archer, also, but her best attributes tend to lean more towards the creative side.[break]
