Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

It was late evening and Claire had skipped both lunch and dinner that day. She had found herself train most of the day with small water breaks between her runs. Something in Claire had told her to keep pushing forward. Claire was know to work hard when it came to training but today was something all different. A new level of pushing herself further. There was pent up frustration from the event. The whole being blinded thing had really set her off her game. Now she was determined to fight without sight.
She had resorted to using a sword today rather than her usual spear or dagger. She had a cloth covering her eyes and tied to keep it in place. She swung blindly towards the dummy and tried the maneuvers that often came natural for her. Many of those attempts landing her in the dirt and flat on her back. Her clothes dusty and her whole body just overly tired. She hadn't given herself much of a rest. As soon and she went down she was pushing herself back up and making the charge again. The exhaustion growing more evident with each attempt she made.
Claire once more fell into the dirt. Sweat dripped down her face and she once more pushed herself up with shaky hands and arms back to her feet. Taking a deep breath she pulled the cloth over her eyes once more. Gripped the sword in her hand she made the charge. The first set of blows made contact. Her next round however became slow and her hands were shaking. The sword fell to the ground Claire sinking to her knees attempting to push away the exhaustion. She wasn't about to give up now. This wasn't how she wanted this to go at all. She wanted to learn but was too stubborn to take a break.

It was true that Felix was a son of Apollo who spent most of his days helping out in the camp infirmary- both back in Camp Half Blood and recently, in Camp Jupiter. Frequently he could be found there either sweeping up or restocking the storeroom or actually helping to heal whichever camper limped in there. However he didn’t remain idle during his time off. Felix was often found to be working out, out for a run or even hanging out with other campers he got on with. Of course, that wasn’t all he did. Sometimes he devoted his off hours to more relaxed pursuits. Like Pilates and drawing. It was drawing that drew him to the Ludus Magnus that day. Even the name of the place reeked of a kind of romantic nobility that (he had to admit), the same kind of place that Camp Half Blood lacked.
Felix was aware that campers went there to spar or maybe even train in their respective martial arts. Certainly he was aware that some of his fellow Greek campers had started turning up there to test themselves. Not that he did. It wasn’t that he had no interest in doing so, it as just that he was busy with other stuff or preferred to do other stuff. No, he was there to draw something else than buildings. There were heaps of other things that the son of Apollo could draw, other than buildings. Maybe on a latent romantic level, Felix admired the martial prowess of his fellow campers and their dedication. In these times, he felt that maybe what the campers needed- especially the Greek ones, was something to inspire them. What could be more inspiring than a fellow camper training to increase their combat prowess? Arriving at the Ludus Magnus, he made his way to the seating that it held to watch for a perspective candidate to draw. As long as he was quiet and didn’t get in the way, he was sure that no one could object to his artistic ventures. Claire drew his attention first off. She had chosen to train blindfolded- blindfightig, Felix believed it was called, as her way to hone her combat prowess. That to Felix was impressive. Anyone could train with their eyesight normally, but anyone who could do so blindfolded was to be to reckoned with. He watched her closely, taking moments to glance down at his sketchpad that he took from his satchel and make a brief sketch. On an abstract level, he did think it might be interesting to do the same when he was practicing his Pankration skills. He wasn’t sure if it would work, but he was pretty sure it would help to sharpen his combat reflexes.
Watching her, Felix could not help but be impressed by the way she moved- as if her eyesight was not impaired. He could only imagine that she must be exceptional with the sword when not blindfolded. If nothing else, Claire demonstrated exceptional fitness, which impressed Felix even more. With that in mind, he said nothing to break her concentration.
Claire gripped the sword in she had once more picked up. She was exhausted from the nonstop training and no breaks between. She had been made a fool during the event. Blinded by the demigods magic. Never once had she felt so weak in her life. Claire could handle that but in that moment everything crumbled around her. The sudden tough act completely gone. Maybe it was why she pushed herself so much now. Trying to gain some of what she lost in that fight. Yet many would tell her to relax and take a break. Claire had no intentions of stopping until she was satisfied with the results. Anyone who tried to stop her might be met with the pointy end of her sword.
Claire continued swinging and pushing. What Felix saw was merely the good parts if the routine. She had fallen so much she was growing more and more frustrated with herself and the training session. The exhaustion probably didn't help. She charged the dummy again this time leaping towards the target. However this time she missed and fell into the dirt. Her breathing was labored, sweat dripping down her face. Yet the frustration only seemed to grow. She got to her feet balling her fists.
Ripping the cloth off she threw it to the ground in a fit of anger. She grabbed her dagger that was strapped to her belt and threw it at the dummy. The dagger landed in its stuffed head pretty deep. She looked around with tired eyes, her steps uneasy as she went to collect her dagger. She hadn't even paid attention to those around her. For the moment completely unaware of Felix sitting there watching and sketching. Claire but a hand to her forehead and wiped away some of the sweat. Grabbing her dagger for a moment she leaned into the dummy to keep from falling over.

A charcoal pencil in Felix's hand flew across the surface of the sketchpad, as the passion of the moment raced through the son of Apollo's body. Claire's dramatic action and energy at what she had been doing, caught his own in turn. He could almost feel the energy she generated and it was transposed on the way he shaded and scribbled shapes and patterns. This what probably what being a demigod- whether from Camp Half Blood or Jupiter, was all about...heroic action and energy. Before today he had never seen Claire or even meet her before, but just sitting there he could tell she was a great warrior, or at least would be one in the future. He was right though- she was burning with a martial spirit that seemed to rage within her. Was she a daughter or Ares or maybe a Hunter of Artemis? Felix couldn't tell, but he wouldn't be surprised if she was either. It had been years since he last picked up a sword and sparred with it. Mostly it was because he found out that it wasn't 'his thing', It turned out that he was more comfortable with the feel of hurling a javelin at the enemy or tackling them unarmed. It took all sorts to make the world go round as they say... Like Claire, there had been days when he had trained hard as well. Some days after spending all day on the archery range back in Camp Half Blood, every muscle in his shoulders, back and arms felt stiff the next day from throwing javelins at targets. More so after hours of practicing Pankration with other campers there, when almost every muscle in his body was sore, stiff or fatigued from punching, kicking, grappling and squeezing his sparring partners. Clearly the girl warrior he was drawing was going hard core out there- he could almost see the sweat flying off her body and the heat from her vigorous exercise radiating off her. Inside he felt excited by the way she moved and felt a little guilty he wasn't training himself. Maybe he should instead of drawing- even if it was one of his passions in life.
Claire seemed to move like hyperactive quicksilver as he ripped the blindfold from her eyes and flung her dagger at the practice dummy. "Whoa!" he exclaimed in surprised, his eyes wide open in amazement. "Aw- crap...!" he said suddenly as he realized that in his surprised reaction, he had skittered his pencil accidentally over the page of the sketchbook, kind of wrecking the picture. Felix gave a disappointed sigh and put his sketchbook in his well-worn messager satchel and went back to watching Claire again. He had to admire her passion and energy in the way she trained. It took a lot of that to be as good a warrior as she clearly was. Leaning back he watched her intently and in silence so as to not break her concentration or interrupt her process.
Exhaustion and fatigue and finally settled in. Her gaze scanned the field once more only now just catching a glimpse of Felix sitting on the bench watching her. Had she been in a better mood maybe she would of argued and questioned why he watched her, Yet in her current state she was far to exhausted to even bother start an argument. She pushed herself off the dummy and towards the bench in which she left her belongings. On the way she retrieved her spear. Her free hand went to her head as she felt as though the world was spinning.
She stumbled towards the bench, that happened to be right next to the one Felix sat at. She sat down dropping her spear beside the bench. She was breathing heavily and very obviously exhausted. For a long moment she stared blankly at the ground as she tried to stop the world from spinning. When she had sort of come to her senses her gaze turned to Felix. It was obvious he had been there a while, she just wasn't sure how much he had seen. She had made a fool of herself out there. Falling in the dirt and just overall failing plenty of times.
When she had caught her breath she sat up and looked over. Her gaze locking onto him. "How long have you been sitting there watching me? How much of that did you see?" she questioned. She did not recognize him too much, then again she had been to busy to really take the time and figure out who was Greek and who was Roman. Her opinion of the Greeks hadn't really changed much since their arrival.

The warrior girl was training hard core- that impressed the son of Apollo. It wasn’t an easy thing to do that sort of thing. It took someone really dedicated or even driven by some inner demon to do that. He had no idea which was the case with Claire. All he saw was a girl training really hard. With that in mind, he respectfully kept quiet so she could concentrate on what she was doing. Who knew…maybe he would learn something from watching her. Nothing was wrong with learning something new each day…
On of the side effects of being a son of Apollo, was that his ‘medical radar’ was often triggered by signs of someone being unwell. Claire stumbling towards the bench she sat upon, the heavy breathing and the slumped posture she adopted as she sat there, certainly set it off. Quietly he assessed her mentally in his head and concluded that yes- she was exhausted, but she was also dehydrated and needed to drink water real soon. It took a while to conclude all that and check to see there was nothing else wrong with her, before he decided he should advise her. Unfortunately, he did not get time to do it, as Claire spoke to him. The force of her gaze, locked into his eyes caught him well off balance. “A while…” he said, a little taken aback and self-conscious that he had been watching her for that long. “You’re…pretty good at that. It shows. Training hard I mean” he said, before adding “You should drink a lot of water now…dehydration can really do a number on your body”. It was true- Felix was clearly not a Roman. It was in his bearing and manner which was way too laid back in nature. Also might have been the orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt that gave him away. Being warm that day, he was dressed in simple sneakers and a faded pair of jean shorts that reached his knees. Around his neck was a necklace, such as all the Greeks kids seemed to have, with a number of beads upon. There wasn’t much of a warrior vibe about him, even though he seemed to have a toned looking body. His blonde hair was raffish looking and hung down to his ears and partially covered his eyes.
Claire waited a response from him as she watched him. Her blue eyes watching him very carefully trying to figure out who he was and why he was just watching her. She was exhausted of course but still had enough in her to defend her methods of training, regardless of how stupid it was. The more she observed him the more she came to realize it was a Greek sitting before her, mostly due to the orange shirt. Claire found it ironic that of all people it was a Greek. What was her business to him? She had a great distrust for the Greeks as it was unclear of their intentions here. Even more so when he had obviously been siting there watching her.
It was even more so evident as he commented on her training and then her health, saying she needed water. It reminded her of how persistent Noah could be, when she had injured herself in a spar and she was trying to keep training regardless. She took a deep breath before she lost her temper. "I am fine....and for training I have to be stronger...have to be better than I was.." she told him. Clearly the reason for her training had a deeper meaning to her. It was because she had been blinded in the tournament, made a fool and lost my default because the other camper cheated. Was she that weak she had to win by default?
The one thing that troubled her the most that he had been sitting there watching her. Why was she so entertaining to watch? To watch her flail around and trip in the dirt, making an even bigger fool of herself. Claire felt dizzy but that was probably because she hadn't eaten anything all day and been training hard in the heat of the day.

The truth of Felix’s intentions was simple. He had visited the Ludus Magnus that day, to look for someone- or thing, to draw. People had their own problems when it came to drawing them- like the fact they were often always moving. They could also took except at people watching, let alone drawing them. It was a hazard that he sometimes had to navigate around. Another reason he was there was to see what the place was all about. Felix had heard about the place not long after he arrived in camp and what it was about. It was true that he might normally be aggrieved by all the ‘customers’ that the place created for him in the camp’s infirmary. However, he still appreciated watching a skilled warrior competing. After all, like all demigod campers- Roman or Greek, he was trained to defend himself. He could admire someone who trained hard, trained diligently and knew how to train. So far no one had challenged him to compete here. Sure- there had been a few in the Palestrae, but that was a different story…
Felix wasn’t so sure that Claire was that okay and that it was a good idea for her to not rehydrate. Even though the alarm bells went off in his head and the inner-medic sought to disagree with her earnestly, he knew it wasn’t worth the energy. No matter his good intentions, Felix knew he could not force help on people who didn’t want it. He was beginning to understand slowly that the Roman kids were proud by nature and were prickly about it if they thought people were interfering wit them. Felix nodded in agreement- being strong was always good in combat. But he was smart enough to know that it was just one thing that might decide the outcome of a fight. He could have commented that stamina, technique and agility (among other factors) could decide a fight. But he was there to watch- not to critique, the way someone fought. “I agree” he said, “It has helped me a few times. So I guess training hard to be strong is more important for you”. There was no malice behind what he said- it was just stating fact. Being strong might have been handy for him when he trained- nice even. But the truth of the matter was that any sparring sessions he won, it was because of his stamina, technique and how flexible he was. Having watched her training, it was clear that becoming stronger was the important factor for Claire.
