Drama Queen? Call her that and you just might get your lights punched out. Though yes, Tarissa is a theatre baby through and through. She loves being on the stage, and it is there that she truly feels at home. An avid reader, she is often seen sitting outside of the coffee shop in New Rome with a book in her hand and a mocha latte in front of her. A short temper at times, she is known to fly off the handle when someone says something offensive or hurts one of her best friends or her family. A true southern belle, she was raised to believe that you had to be respectful of your elders and also of those in charge of you. She always has had the utmost respect for the praetors, and now as an adult, she still does.[break][break]
It is not easy to lead the legion, and as a former centurion of the First Cohort, she knows that very well. Tarissa loves to dance, spending a much time at the club in New Rome as she can, a drink in her hand when she can get it. Her wine fridge is always fully stocked, and she tries to throw a little dinner get together every week for her three best friends to join her with a fantastic meal and some wine and conversation. Tarissa is very much a romantic, the Venus legacy having been in some rough relationships in the past, she has an open heart, and wears it on her sleeve. [break][break]
Tarissa loves animals, and spends a lot of time in the stables, despite no longer being in the legion. She always had horses growing up, and when she first saw the unicorns in the camp she just about lost her mind, she was so excited. Now, when shes not busy she goes down to visit the unicorn that chose her, a beautiful solid white one that she named Caliban.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Born in a small coastal town in Texas, Tarissa was raised by her mother, a hard working woman who raised her in the arts. Spending her summers in the local summer children's drama club, she developed a huge love of acting. She had no idea that a lot of the reason she loved it so much, was based on her parentage. Her mother of course loved the arts, but it was her father that had really passed on the acting bug to her. Her mother met Bacchus at a performance of The Phantom of the Opera in Houston. She had been sitting alone, and he saw her from his box seat. Sending an usher to her, he invited her to join him before the show began, and together they sat and enjoyed the show, drinking a bottle of wine that was the most amazing wine she had ever tasted. [break][break]
After, he took her out to a late dinner and they ended up at a hotel suite in the theatre district. A few weeks later, Chrystal discovered she was pregnant. Baachus showed up within the month to let her know who he really was and explain what that meant for their child. He had known that she was actually a legacy of Venus, but not a demigod herself. Crystal could have grown up in New Rome, but her father had divorced her mother, not happy with living in New Rome. Bacchus showed up every few months, making sure she was doing alright, and taking care of her. When Tarissa was born, he named her, and would show up a few times over the first three years of her life, just checking in on the little girl. She was a very bright child, super creative and her mother wanted to put her into an arts based school rather than a public school, but the area they lived in didn't have one. So instead, she sent her to arts programs at the local theatre. [break][break]
Her grandmother was rarely around, but when she did visit, she would tell her fantastic stories of unicorns and this magical camp where she could go if she was a good girl. Of course, she all thought it was just a fairy tale, that was until she got a little older and strange things began to happen to her. Crystal had tried to keep it all from her, but it became impossible. When she was eleven years old, she was at school, drinking from one of the water fountains when she accidentally turned the water into wine. Not only in that fountain, but in all of them through out the school. It was then that her father showed up again, along with her mother and told her who she really was, and that she needed to go to the Wolf House, so that she could be safe, and her mother safe as well. She had shown too much power, and monsters would start to find her if she didn't go then and there. [break][break]
Though it broke her heart, her mother let her go, and Tarissa found her way to the Wolf House after her mother took her to the general area where it was. It was there that she met the great wolf Lupa, and trained with her until she was deemed worthy to go to camp. Much to her surprise, her grandmother was there, and apparently lived there in New Rome. Her mother had avoided that life, trying to be normal, but of course, that had not happened in her favor. Her grandmother handed her a letter, one that would be a recommendation for the First Cohort, and after her time in Probatio, she ended up just there. [break][break]
She would excel in the legion and after a quest with some of her best friends, would end up Centurion for the first Cohort. It made her grandmother proud, but unfortunately, shortly after she made centurion, her grandmother died. It broke her heart, as she had become super close to her after making it to Camp Jupiter. Saying goodbye to her was hard, and it was awhile before Tarissa would even smile again. Though thank gods for the best friends, or she might have completely fallen into a dark hole of depression and never been able to crawl out of it again. [break][break]
When her ten years was up, she moved to New Rome, going to college there, as well as acting in the theatre there. She found that her ability to turn water into wine was very helpful for her and her group, and she used it also to work in one of the bars between acting gigs to keep the money flowing. Her grandmother had left her a nice inheritance, but she still needed to work to make sure she had money for her future.

[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Water into Wine: As a daughter of Bacchus, Tarissa has the nifty power of being able to turn regular water into wine. It's something that might not seem like much of a power, but sure helps out when she needs it. She loves to entertain, and that helps out on the budget. She can't do huge vats or anything, as she is not that powerful, but a few bottle a day is pretty easy for her. [break][break]
Lesser Omnipotent Allure: Tarissa can alter parts of her physical appearance to fit the idea of beauty to whoever is around her. As Tarissa is the daughter of the god of Theatre as well as a legacy of Venus, she is extremely charismatic and uses that in her acting as well as in her every day life. She tends to try to bat her lashes to get her way, and it tends to go her way more often than not. For the most part she can only change things like her hair or eye color, as anything else is really difficult for her. [break][break]
