Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

Jax had been bored outside of his mind. His day was filled with lessons. And not the fun kind. Not the kind that involved stabbing or shooting something. Not the kind that allowed him to let out some of the tense energy that seemed to always be plaguing him. He liked to have a constant outlet of physical tasks where it would allow him to loosen the pressure valve before it manifested into aggression. Before all of that energy turned into something that got him into trouble. Unfortunately, today was not that day. He had latin, then a full class of strategy planning. Then it was a cohort meeting then practical weaponry theory or something of the sort that made him want to hurtle himself out of the nearest window.
He had spent his entire morning and half of the afternoon doing those pointless tasks like a good soldier. Finally, mercifully, he was able to sneak away to the Ludus for some training. He wasn't dressed for training, but that had never stopped him before. It wasn't like monsters patiently waited for demigods to change out of their jeans and into fighting garments before attacking. Though he was wearing his favorite shirt and that would be a pity if he damaged it. Alas, he mused, he could always take it off before starting.
Jax had glanced around for an open spot or an open opponent but didn't see either. He waited around the ring for only a few more moments before heading towards the armory. He figured he could at least pick out a weapon while he waited for a spot to open up. He moved to the door but paused as his eyes took in the frame of the person who was already inside. The red-haired siren who had driven him mad during the last war game. The girl who had never disappointed when it came to bringing excitement. A sly grin was on his face as Jax moved as quiet as a ghost, slipping inside of the room and leaning against the wall, his eyes never leaving her tempting form. "Hey Dani." The words low and filled with a mixture of excitement and something much more that he couldn't quite put a finger on.
Punishment. How laughable. Refuse to wake up at 4AM and automatically you were deemed a traitor to the legion. Dani couldn't understand how anyone could wake up at such a ridiculous hour of the morning just to suit up and go for marching drills, which by the way Dani felt was also pointless because anyone who attacked Camp Jupiter wouldn't care in the least if the demigods could march. The daughter of Dionysus could imagine it now, an enemy cresting the hill, their army behind them, stopped at the gates in shock at the sheer impressiveness of teenagers and twenty-somethings stomping in sync. Get real.
And so she had skipped the marching drills a few too many times and had been assigned armory duty. She didn't even know what that meant, but she sure as heck was not doing what she was supposed to be doing. In the last hour she had been there, she had cleaned and polished a grand total of two swords, one helmet, and one chest plate, and was now fantasizing about a random, faceless male wearing the chest plate and nothing else. Look, Dani was bored, and a bored Dani was a crazy Dani. Already, the madness was itching under her skin, wanting to be let out and let loose, but there was no one around for it to infect and so it had seeped unhappily from her pores, wanting to just be, even if there was no one else around to be affected.
That was, until someone spoke, and Dani looked up from the gleaming chest plate, her daydream interrupted. There was no guilt on her face, because she could hardly care less if some centurion decided she wasn't doing her punishment good enough or whatever. Dani was going to put as much effort into cleaning the armory as she had attending the drills: that was, not very much effort at all. But as her eyes met a familiar gaze, Dani decided it might not be so bad to be trapped in the armory by herself after all, because it was none other than Jax From First Cohort himself, leaning against the wall. Dani couldn't help herself smirking at him, tilting her head slightly as she put the chest plate to the side. She didn't need that any more for any kind of daydream.
"Hey yourself," she replied, her voice low and eyes already promising more shenanigans. The madness surged, ready to spill out of her at the sight of another person. The whole scenario at the last War Games had been hilarious, and since then, she had somehow managed to evade Jax' attempts at revenge. She knew she was in quite the precarious situation here considering they were alone in a not-necessarily well-travelled area of camp, but instead of being afraid, Dani felt herself shiver with excitement. After all, no matter what Jax threw at her, she could probably not only hold her own, but she could pay it back in spades. Her smirk widened as she continued, "What, no friendly kiss from my very own knight in shining armour?"
She was moving about in the armory, looking as normal and bored as any other being might be. He knew much better than that though. She was anything but normal. A compliment in fact, a very highly regarded compliment, at least coming from him it was. As she turned to see who had decided to bother her, her face changed. Like a gust of wind that had decided on a whim to knock down a building for fun, her attention fell on him and he resisted the urge to move towards her.
Her smirk answered his own and he felt his mouth run dry. He couldn't explain what happened on that field, despite the promise of pain from his superiors. He couldn't say exactly what had happened. There had not been a charm spoken, there was no potion applied nor vision altered. He couldn't explain what she had done, but whatever it was had left an impact.
He wasn't in love, nor anything of the sort. He didn't believe in love. He did, however, believe in chaos and fun and that seemed to be exactly what the girl before him had to offer. She seemed to be sizing him up and he had to remind himself that she was indeed a predator.
Jax moved his attention from her to the walls of weapons beside him, his eyes scanning leisurely over the few that were near his fingertips. He knew them all. Could use each and every one in a hundred different ways and though he was making sure that she was reminded over that fact, he also knew deep down that they were practically useless against whatever she had at her disposal.
She brought up the kiss and the smirk that he had been wearing was pulled into a grin. He nodded his head in defeat, giving credit where it was due. "I'll give you that one. You played your cards right." His eyes landed back to hers, roaming over her pretty face. Her features did well at their job of hiding how dangerous she was. Jax had been powerless against her wide eyes and demure act before. A mistake he didn't plan on making again.
He remained where he was, his smile falling back into his trademark arrogant grin. "I've come to learn that you Greeks like to resort to cheating when you can't win fairly in a fight so I suppose I should have seen it coming." He watched her carefully, not sure what in the Hades she might do next. An idea that wrapped him around her damming pretty little finger. He knew better than to rush her. He knew better than to attempt to use force against her. That would only work in her favor and it wouldn't get him any answers.
And answers were what he needed. He still couldn't put it all together and it was slowly eating at him. He couldn't understand how she had so easily made him betray his family. He had been under spells before, but nothing like what she had put him under. Today was going to be the day he figured it out. At least that was the plan. "So. What'd you do to get sent to the armory for punishment? Don't tell me I'm not the only one who you tried putting under your spell." He was still grinning, watching her face carefully.
