[CHARMING] Though many would call it flirting, when she wants to get her way she can be quite appealing. A trick that's quite handy when she needs to soothe a patient who is in pain or an ares camper who needs to calm down. [break][break]
[QUICK-WITTED] A little trait that can sometimes get her into trouble. She has no issues speaking her mind and doing so loudly. She doesn't hold much to herself so if she has an opinion, you're going to hear it.[break][break]
[PASSIONATE] She isn't one to keep things to herself. When she's happy she's blissfully happy. She can talk on and on about things that she's interested in or things that she wants to do. When she gets an idea to do something she can sometimes have tunnel-vision until she accomplishes it. [break][break]

Nadja was born to Evalina Oretsev, a young actress who had just gotten her big break. Before she had gotten pregnant, she had been struggling to make it big.  Taking gigs that ranged from small, local plays to car commercials. It had been a stroke of luck that she ended up landing a role, albeit a minor one, on Broadway.  It had been enough though. She had captured the audience. She had also caught the attention of a rather handsome man who had taken her out to dinner after the show. The two were enamored with one another and whether it was the wine or the high of her first broadway show, she went home with him. [break][break]
The next morning she had gotten a cab and gone home, never to see the man again. A few weeks later she had found out that she was pregnant but couldn't find the man. He seemed to have vanished. Nadja delivered the baby and though she had originally set her mind to give her up for adoption, she couldn't let go. It was also around that time when she was offered her first movie role. So she had taken it and thus began Nadja's life of traveling with her mother. Sometimes it was to a movie set, sometimes a play in some town that she had never heard of. She hadn't cared, she had been in love with it all. Every week was a new place, new faces and a thousand new things to do. The girl had fit in seamlessly and had been quite happy with her life. Sure there were odd happenings here and there, like how she rarely got sick and her cuts always healed remarkably fast, but nothing that had ever been cause for alarm.[break][break]
Then, one day, the unthinkable happened. There had been a collision on the way to one of their shooting locations. A drunk driver had veered into their lane, causing the car that she, her mother, and two friends were riding in to crash. Nadja had been the only one who had remained this side of the Earth. She hadn't made it out unscathed though, the door had pinned her leg and a piece of metal had pierced her stomach. She had thought it was all over when a stranger appeared, emitting an ethereal golden glow. He touched the girl and the next thing Nadja knew, she woke up on the grass, perfectly healed. The man stayed with her while the coroner came, taking the only person she had in the world away forever.  He told her who he was, who she was and where she needed to go. Had she not been magically healed by the random glowing being, she might have had a harder time believing him. [break][break]
The girl had followed his direction though, meeting two other demigods along the way. She was claimed immediately upon entry into camp and had been there four years when she had gotten assigned to a quest. It had been a horrible plan from the very beginning but she had been chosen as the leader so she did her duty faithfully. It had been herself, a child of Ares, and a child of Nemesis trekking halfway across the country. The only thing they had completed was amassing large amounts of trouble and the death of the poor child of Nemesis. Nadja had barely had time to register the loss when none other than Nemesis herself appeared and threatened to take her, well, revenge. So Nadja had ran. The plan had been working perfectly until she ran into a completely different group of demigods who also happened to be on a quest. [break][break]
She had stumbled upon the other group right has the fading glow from Nemesis and her wrath had began to clear from the area. Nadja tried explaining that she was a demigod like they were but they were having none of it. So she became their prisoner, which truly had just been the epitome of unfairness. She would have assumed this itself was the way Nemesis would get her back, by letting a group of fellow demigods burn her at the stake for being a proverbial witch, but alas there was more to come. Nemesis herself appeared again, seeking retribution and Nadja had thought the end was nigh. Out of nowhere though, one of the Roman campers freed her, the two taking off at a sprint  away from the vengeful goddess. [break][break]
They made camp together, having lost now both sets of quest parties. They had been thoroughly lost themselves, but at least they had each other. Or rather that had been the sentiment that she had tried to get him to see. He had been stern and very anti-Greek, though the longer they camped together, the less any of that began to matter. She had actually been quite smitten with the boy and his stoic ways that made her want to kiss him just to see the look on his face. She was growing quite fond of him as they had finally, mercifully made it to town. They had come upon the Lotus Casino, a place she knew from one of her siblings and their misfortunes there. Before she could comment on it though, she had felt a chill and looked to her left, seeing Nemesis, seeking retribution at last. In a split second she realized that if he saw her, he would fight until his last breath. A fight that he would lose. She would not let that happen. She had turned to him, giving him a bright smile and telling him to go inside and that she'd be right behind him. She walked arm in arm with him, right up until he stepped through the doors. She stopped, letting him go forever. She turned in time to see Nemesis before her, but as the goddess raised her hand to strike, a familiar golden glow blocked it. [break][break]
Nadja woke up in camp. She was told that Apollo had dropped her off at the border. The other members of the quest never made it back and she could only hope that Mick had gotten out. That had been three years ago. Since the destruction of her camp, she finds herself in what she assumed had been his camp.

Nadja has Vitakinesis. She can manipulate the internal workings of someone's body. She can cause a heartbeat to slow or cause nerves to make one feel cooler or warmer. She cannot control physical aspects of the human body, such as making a bone snap back in place, but she can manipulate almost anything internally. Healing wounds and manipulating small things doesn't take much out of her. If it's something large or something she wants to enact on a group of people she can only do it for a small amount of time before passing out. The person must be in sight and if she can touch them, the effect is usually much stronger.
