The Ice Queen, that was what some people thought was ok to call her. It wasn't that Anya was a jerk or anything, she just kept to herself and tried to stay out of the way. Intelligent: Anya can speak four different languages that , English, French, Spanish and Russian. Her father was a professor and insisted she learn as much as she could. Manipulative: Anya has had to use manipulation at more than one point in her life to get the what she needs. She will use whatever means necessary to get that she has been known to be especially manipulative of men when she has to. Its hard to avoid those blue green eyes. Perfectionist: Anya tends to have a little bit of OCD she has to have everything perfect, everything in its place, and she just can't get through things unless it is. It tends to be a bit of an issue for her, especially as a demigod.

" You are far too smart for your own good Anya" how often did Amos tell her that? Her older brother had always tried to tell her that she was trying to hard, studying too much, trying to learn too much at once. It never stopped her though. From an early age, Anya wanted nothing more than to learn all she could. She would spend hours upon hours in the library in their house, reading book after book on everything she could about the world. [break][break]

Her family was a mixed one, in fact, her father had met her real mother while trekking through the Canadian Wilderness. After quite the love affair, literal affair, he had come home from his expedition with a little bundle of joy in his arms. Telling his wife that he had adopted the child. Amos was two at the time, and loved to watch the baby as she slept in her crib. He was protective of her from the very beginning. When she was eight, she first showed a true sign of magic when she and amos were playing in the field near the house and she lost control, ending up accidentally turning their pond into solid ice. Amos was at a loss, and ran to their father to tell him what she had done. Shortly after, a satyr came to take her to Camp Half Blood, telling her father she would be much safer there. He had been at her school with her, and had spotted her as demi god right away. [break][break]

When she got to Camp Half Blood, she thought she would end up in the Hermes cabin, having no clue who her mother really way, but much to her surprise at dinner that night she was claimed by her mother. She loved camp, and chose to stay there year round rather than going home after the summer. Her fathers wife, as she had begun to call herself rather than Anya's mother, held it all against Anya. Saying she was the daughter of a homewrecker. It was far from an easy life after that, so staying at camp was an easy decision, though she did miss Amos and her father. [break][break]

The attack on Camp Half Blood was terrifying for her. Having such huge heat sensitivity the fire was enough to make her want to run out of there at full speed. When the campers were evacuating she ran for it, but she had to be carried after awhile. The heat had been too much for her, and she had a spiking fever for days on the trek to Camp Jupiter. It was touch and go on whether or not she was going to make it at all. Upon arrival at Camp Jupiter she was brought to the infirmary and she stayed there for a couple days until the nectar and ambrosia had helped her enough that the healers would allow her to leave their sight.

Cryokinesis: Anya can create and manipulate snow, blizzards, and ice. She can also control the intensity of their powers, meaning how cold she wants a storm she creates to be. She is still learning her ability so she can't make anything too terribly intense as she's still figuring it all out. She has yet to create an actual blizzard, but knows the ability is there if she can tap into enough power to do it. On occasion, she does lose control of the power and might accidentally cause a nice ice slick in the middle of no where that people have tended to slip and fall on, herself included. Just like the weather, it can be very finicky and tends to work off of her own personal mood. [break][break]

Cold Immunity: As the daughter of Khione, she is immune to the cold. Though on the opposite end of that spectrum she is very much effected by heat. Any fire, lava, etc. makes her extremely sick. She usually runs at a very cold temperature so once she goes above that its like a major fever and she can even pass out, and if its too hot, she could easily die.
