[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]PERSONALITY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
[ SPRING ] - Cecily's favorite season! Sometimes it could appear as if her personality shifts with every season change. She's in her best moods during the warm months but tends to cool down during the colder months. She's loyal and faithful, especially to those she can call friends. There had always been just a handful - if even. But now she doesn't even know who has survived the attack and who did not. She's very caring, tending people like flowers, making sure she doesn't break their delicate petals. She likes to help them grow, watch them bloom, even if she doesn't - even if she only withers.[break][break]
[ SUMMER ] - Just like the second season, bringing all the heat, she can be fierce if needed. It's a trait she adapted during her time at the orphanage and foster families. She would be the protective friend who made sure her friends were alright and wouldn't get hurt. All these years being mostly by herself has made her strong. She may look like a delicate flower but you won't be able to easily break her stem.[break][break]
[ AUTUMN ] - Unlike her first impressions, Cecily actually turns out to be quite romantic. She easily tears up at other people’s romantic gestures and movies and finds herself swooning over the smallest things. There had been some instances where she developed crushes for boys at her school but they were never required. Because who would want an orphan? She had nothing to offer them, nothing to be proud of.[break][break]
[ WINTER ] - Cecily, growing up with the misfortune called her life, can’t help herself but reflect it in her bitter humor. She was known to swear a lot when she was younger. A habit that was broken after several punishments to stop her. Perhaps that was a reason why she wasn't adopted. Who would have wanted a girl with such a foul mouth? Sometimes the words just slip out, unintended.Mostly.[break][break]

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
years at camp 3; unclaimed[break][break]
Cecily was born to an unknown father and Persephone, the goddess of spring. The day she was given into his care he immediately dropped her off at an orphanage, not wanting anything to do with a child. The reason is still unknown to her. Maybe he just didn't have the money to take care of her. Maybe he was lacking the courage to raise a child. Maybe it was a shame to bear the product of a one-night stand. Cecily would never know and she didn't want to either.[break][break]
The first memory she can think of starts at uncle Vladimirs' house. She was taken in by him at the age of 4. He took good care of her and she even had a brother to play with. Even in a short amount of time, Brant became as dear to her as a real brother would. She would copy him, causing trouble whenever he did, annoy the nanny whenever he did. She certainly was a handful herself but the good thing was that humans were born with two hands. Although, the nanny soon was fed up with the two Lovett children.[break][break]
Cecily was only 5 years old when her brother suddenly disappeared. The memory of that night was murky but it was there, mostly, haunting her in her dreams. Thinking he left her she was devastated. It didn't help that uncle Vladimir disappeared shortly after and Cecily has whisked away to yet another orphanage. She had only spent 2 years with the Lovetts but that was all she needed to know that having a family was a nice thing to have, even though she didn't have one anymore. It was the longing for more love, for another family, perhaps for her brother, that kept her from drowning in sheer misery.[break][break]
The young girl had been taken in by multiple foster families but none felt like family. So, she always ended up causing some ruckus as she had learned from Bran, and was swiftly returned to the orphanage. She liked helping her friends to find families, giving them tips, and making their hair look nice. She would put them before her because the family would be such a waste on her. At the age of 14, a young woman showed up at the gardens behind the building where Cecily could always be found during the warm months. She tended the flowers that were otherwise left to die by the staff. It was a nice spring day, and the woman approached her, striking up a conversation about the flowers. Cecily watched in awe as the woman touched the wilting ones and they bloomed to life again.[break][break]
Cecily thought the woman might be interested in adopting her, despite her age, as older children were usually unpopular for adoption. But the woman disappeared and she never saw her again. The next day at school a new student appeared, walking strangely with a bit of a limp. His name was Jesper. He made it his first task to befriend her and it worked. Cecily never had a lot of friends at school, having the bad reputation of being in the system and causing chaos at school from time to time as well. There were a handful of girls at the orphanage but most of them had been adopted, one after one. Cecily was a little jealous, she couldn't deny that, but patience was virtue... right?[break][break]
A couple of days after the new student arrived, she was in the garden, tending the flowers as usual. Suddenly, those flowers were trampled and mushed by a pair of giant feet. Giant, smelly feet. A cyclops. The one-eyed creature stared at Cecily as she let out a scream, backing away from it. Jesper came to her rescue and distracted the cyclops enough so they could flee. Cecily had never run that much and that hard in her life. She wasn't sure how her legs were keeping up with it but they did, and somehow they managed to escape. Flagging down a cab she was driven to Long Island and Jesper led her straight into Camp Half-Blood.[break][break]
Cecily was stuck in the Hermes cabin that she almost got used to it. They had explained what it meant to get claimed, that most demigods would get claimed by their godly parent eventually, but she wasn't. Again, watching all her friends leave the Hermes cabin one by one after getting claimed and moving cabins. Yet, she still wasn't. At this point, Cecily had almost given up. She was used to not being wanted. Camp wasn't much better than the orphanage, except for the food maybe. [break][break]
Having acquired the knowledge of having a possible mother and a bunch of possible half-siblings, cousins, and whatnot, she still was alone. She had no great powers to show off, wasn't a good fighter at all, and just spent her days at the gardens and the strawberry fields. Sometimes the image of Bran would pop into her mind, although, she couldn't exactly remember what he looked like anymore. It's been so long. She wondered if he was still alive, if he was doing well, if he had a family, and if he was thinking of her too.[break][break]
Apparently, Cecily was cursed to never have a home. Camp Half-Blood was attacked and she watched her newest home burn to the ground. She was near the woods when it happened, watching from afar as campers struggled and scrambled to run or fight. The brunette was running down to help, even if there wasn't much she could do but she wasn't even given a chance to do something. A group of fleeing Hermes campers grabbed her and dragged her with them, away from the chaos. They were given the coordination to another camp and so they fought their way to the other side of the state. Cecily managed the trip quite well, almost wanting to laugh at this ridiculous situation. She only hoped that they wouldn't take this home too.

[ CHLOROKINESIS ] - As the daughter of Persephone, the goddess of springtime, Cecily has the ability to manipulate, bend, and grow plant life. However, unsure why Cecily doesn't seem to have much control over it. While she is able to help the growth of a plant, a flower, fruit, etc. it just ends up growing too fast and ripen too quickly until the plant is withered and the fruit moldy. She can revive recently withering plants or dead plants but only keep them alive for a minute before they go back to their regular state of... dead. [break][break]
Since her mother is the goddess of spring, Cecily's powers tend to be stronger during spring and summer. Those are the months her mother is able to leave the underworld. However, in autumn and winter, her powers are even worse than the aforementioned state. Besides the non-existent and loss of control, she also tends to tire out fast the more she uses the power to help a plant grow. Also, working with flowers is the easiest as well as plants/fruits that are sacred to her mother, like pomegranates, asphodel, narcissus, willow, lily, and mint.
