[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Iseult likes to take charge of situations regardless of other people's ranks and jobs. She is known to speak up against her centurions and praetors a lot. She was told it would be a negative trait as a legionnaire but a great trait in any leadership or management position if she ever gets that far. But she doesn't care to be honest. She likes to speak up for herself and for others if the need is there. She usually likes to be strict and always sticks to the law. Even though she's not a centurion she can be seen breaking apart arguing groups and unfair fights from time to time.Iseult likes to make enemies.[break][break]
She can be a very caring girl but usually does it in secret. If you tell her you're craving pizza she will show up at your cohort 15 minutes later to deliver you a pizza. If you tell her you want to take a trip to get some fresh air she willbuy plane tickets to Paris escort you to the borders but keeping an eye out for danger. Iseult can get very protective of people and likes to pretend to be their bodyguard.[break][break]
She may not be the friendliest demigod out there but she certainly is polite because that's how she was raised. Iseult is also known for her resting Hellhoundess face but some people rather call it the resting calm face. Sometimes Iseult prefers the quiet and solitude to read a sappy romance novel or enjoy a cup of coffee. She's very brave but also very reckless. While she does think about possible consequences she would jump in front of an arrow to save someone without any hesitation. [break][break]
[ LIKES ] - romance novels, writing, coffee, eating in general, naps, flower arrangements, collecting weapons, archery[break][break]
[ DISLIKES ] - dark rooms, noisy + weak people, cowards, rap music, chocolate, planes, the feeling of falling[break][break]

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Zhaohui Bexley was a master of Chinese martial arts. From a young age, he was sent to train in the mountains at a Shaolin Monastery by his strict parents. Living the life of a monk he excelled and once old enough, left the monastery to move to the United States where he opened a martial arts academy with his parents' support. It's where he caught the attention of Bellona, albeit not a real warrior himself, he taught others his knowledge and to fight. [break][break]
The usual months later Iseult was placed in the training room, wrapped in a golden silk blanket with a helmet symbol embroidered on it. By the time Iseult was two, her grandparents had moved in with them to help their son with the child. Zhaohui married but the marriage ended when Iseult was 9. His wife, a former narcotics detective, whom Iseult saw as mother-figure, died after a former gang leader sought her out to take revenge, despite not working actively in the field anymore. She was the one who was taking care of Iseult while her father was working. Of course, along with her grandparents.[break][break]
Iseult, like her father, was sent to train at his academy. Although, it wasn't as strict as a monastery. The purpose was more to teach her how to defend herself if the situation was to arise. She spent a lot of time at the academy and even though she wasn't always allowed to participate with the older kids she was allowed to watch them while forced to clean and mop the floors as a way to pay for her lessons. She would find herself sneaking out at night with her dad's keys to the studio to practice on the mannequins and use the weapons.[break][break]
At the age of 12, she was alone at the academy, just like any other night, when she heard a yell through the window, coming from the opposite street. She sprinted down the stairs and upon swinging the door open she spotted a boy struggling... or fighting, against a monstrous creature. She first thought the darkness was fooling her eyes, but as she got closer - because she was taught at a young age to always help those in need - she saw that it was indeed a real monster. It attacked the boy, who then was sent flying to the other side of the street, his golden sword dropping to the ground.[break][break]
Without thinking Iseult went for the blade, thankful for her little sword skills that were taught by her father and the countless night she secretly trained at the academy. The monster lunged for her and she swiped the sword at it. With a lot of luck, she managed to cut it but it wasn't enough to fend it off. It lunged once again and unbeknownst to her the boy was already up again, running to help. Or was it her who helped him? He yelled at her, something about giving back his sword, but she couldn't really hear him over the roar the monster let out.[break][break]
She was distracted by him, and subsequently was struck by the monster, the blade this time scattering out of her hand. She remembered hitting her head on a wall of a building and ouch, that hurt. The boy grabbed his sword, offering her nothing but an annoyed and utterly furious glare, and went for the monster but again failed, just like her. If the situation had allowed it she would have rolled her eyes at him. It took her a moment to get back on her feet, watching the struggle unfold in front of her. Her eyes frantically searched for something that could help when she felt something in the pocket of her jacket. A snickers bar. [break][break]
Not exactly sure if it would help or not she just shrugged and did her best throwing it at the monster, pretending it to be a baseball. She never liked chocolate anyway, vaguely remembering it to be a gift given by one of the kid's mothers who picked them up earlier that day. It hit the monster's head but... that was it. It dropped uselessly to the ground and the thing snarled, turning towards her. The moment it jumped for her the boy appeared right in front of Iseult and pushed his sword through the monster's torso. It let out a loud cry before dissolving into... dust? [break][break]
The monster was gone and only she and the boy remained. It was a day she would remember because the creature left a scar running up her forearm. The boy, whose name she doesn't know because he didn't have the manners to introduce himself, wiped his weapon on the fabric of his jeans and slid it back into its sheath. Iseult was all prepared to receive gratitude but the boy didn't even say thank you. Instead, he started getting mad at her, calling her idiot in all sorts of languages. ?? < this is exactly her reaction.[break][break]
Since she wasn't going to receive a thank you for saving his gluteus maximus she turned and stomped away, returning to the academy as if nothing happened. It was the day after that she noticed her necklace was missing, the one with her mother's ring that meant a lot to her. She went back to the location the moment she noticed but it wasn't there. It wasn't at the academy either where she thought she might have lost it. It was simply gone. For the first time, she had seen her father angry, after she told him about it. But she didn't have a chance to make up for it as the wolves were sent to her the next day and she was taken to Lupa.[break][break]
Confused, a little angry, a little terrified, Iseult arrived at the Wolf House and was told she was a demigod, a soldier expected to fight and survive. Well, great, she managed to do just that a day earlier. She put all her prior lessons and training to good use and fought her way out of the Wolf House, proving she was capable of surviving the trip to Camp Jupiter. Just a few months later she was on her way.[break][break]
Camp Jupiter wasn't much different from her previous life. It was like her dad's academy and school, just everything in one place. She missed her family, her grandparents, but she couldn't visit them... wouldn't, to show she wasn't weak. Others had snuck out to visit family but she told herself not to, no matter how much she wanted to on the days she had guard duty and was standing right in front of the wards that shimmered in that tempting blue-white light.[break][break]
Most of her days at camp were spent training. Upon arrival, a mysterious letter had found its way into her bag and when she showed it to the Praetors she was sorted into the second cohort. Her mother, Bellona, claimed her a day later. Camp quickly became like a second home to her. She somewhat compared it to a monastery, as her dad went to when he was younger to learn the arts of kung fu. The only difference was that they weren't monks but legionnaires, and it was the art of the Romans they studied and were taught in. Either way, it was something she enjoyed thoroughly, albeit missing her family. Through her mortal mother, she picked up liking to read, mostly romance novels and fiction in general. Iseult started writing in her spare time when she was around 15, trying to get the story about the boy on paper. She struggles because she is a warrior and not an artist, but she managed to get the story somehow written down, working on it every day. And she's still bitter about losing her mother's ring, her father's treasure. She hopes to bring it back to him one day.[break][break]

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]POWERS, SKILLS & WEAPONS
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
[ EMPOWERMENT ] - As the daughter of Bellona, Iseult can share her strength and courage with others. However, by doing so she can also feel the emotions of those she granted her strength to which can be quite burdensome and uncomfortable. Usually, the more people the easier it is but the more people she gives strength and courage to the quicker it drains her. She cannot participate in battle herself as she has to focus on those/or that person she is using her powers on.[break][break]
[ SWORDSMANSHIP ] - Iseult has been at camp for quite some time so she naturally turned into a great swordswoman. She likes the curved blade of a katana the most but doesn't mind if she is given a gladius or a spatha. Being the daughter of Bellona she is born a warrior and thus it shows in her skills.[break][break]
[ ARCHERY ] - While archery isn't known to be the top Roman way to fight, Iseult grew up learning it because of her grandfather. It also provides some sort of stress relief to her and replaces meditation. She's not early as skilled as the children of Apollo as she is not a natural archer, but she's got a superb aim.[break][break]
