Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Fire. Noah hadn’t been fond of fires, be it just a small flame or a raging inferno, ever since his mom died in one because she was trying to save him. He was the reason she was dead. If only he hadn’t had the stupid idea of hiding inside one of the trucks, and running into the building because of some stupid stray which turned out to be a monster immune to fire. A monster with the purpose of luring him into his own death but instead of him, it was his mother that paid with her life, who sacrificed herself because of Noah’s stupidity. That’s what he liked to call it. It was the only way everything made sense to him. Stupid, stupid, stupid. That’s what he was.
The words repeated inside his head the moment he stepped out of his cohort’s barracks and stood right in front of a huge campfire. Apparently, the Greeks had suggested or rather requested one because it was their own tradition. dam those ing traditions. Noah’s eyes were wide in surprise and terror as he stood in front of the blazing fire, the heat instantly making him sweat slightly. He was staring at the lot sitting and standing around it, holding sticks topped with marshmallows into it and singing random songs.
He was about to turn around and go to the Infirmary to hide and avoid this when he heard a familiar voice nearby. Kade. He made sure not to get attached to many people but his siblings were a whole other realm. And he had always been protective of Kade ever since she became the Augur. Noah turned, dread in his eyes as he scanned the area around the campfire for his half-sister. There she was, surrounded by a bunch of mean-looking demigods, the symbols on their clothes and accessories hinting at their heritage to the god of war. He never minded those, not since one of them was a Praetor and most were in the first cohort. But he couldn’t estimate the Greeks. All he knew was that most were different, less disciplined, more childlike.
The blond watched, hesitating as he didn’t want to get closer to the fire, but when he saw them getting closer to his sister and pushing her in the shoulder - which probably wasn’t the smartest idea anyway - he strode over. His hand was shot out in front of him even before he was anywhere close. He just needed them in his line of sight. Blue eyes were fixed on the bunch as he made his way over. "Stop it, would you?" he requested politely, a small smile playing on his lips with no ill intent. But they saw it differently. Instead of them doing what was asked of them they laughed as if he was the mean one here.
Noah sighed, getting closer with each step. The centurion wasn’t much of a bloodthirsty legionnaire but when it came to those he cared about he sometimes couldn’t help himself. "Again, and that’s the last time I’m being polite. Stop," he demanded this time, still quite polite but a hint of a threat in his voice. Of course, they didn’t oblige and pushed Kade once again.
He was focused on the one that had pushed her, the one that was threatening to thrust her right into the fire. His vision turned red, the flames dancing in his eyes as he advanced, balling his hand into a fist. He watched the guy hold on to his shirt right where his heart was. Ouch, that must hurt. Noah wasn’t intending to do what he was doing but something inside him just snapped…
Turning his fist, fair eyebrows drawn together in sheer focus, he watched the boy slowly losing the ability to breathe before he dropped to his knees, clutching his shirt where his heart was. Noah tried to stop himself but he just… couldn’t. He lost control over it and himself the moment the thought just appeared in his head, the moment he saw the fire and the moment he saw red hair become one with the flames.
They had all been missing it so much. Missing their home, missing Camp Halfblood where they all had once felt very much they belonged. Since arriving at Camp Jupiter it had been difficult. Some were fitting in easier than others, though some of the Roman gods were much more like their Greek counterparts, like Mercury, Venus and Apollo. She felt like she was doing pretty well here, though she did miss New York. She missed her dad, and she missed Lucas. Though she also knew that she could not dwell on the past. They had to move on, all of them. [break][break]
The Romans had agreed to let them have a bonfire tonight, to let them have a little piece of home once more. Camp songs and marshmallows, just wrapping up the day together, offerings to the gods, a bit of home. Savannah had gotten dressed after dinner, pulling her leather jacket on over the sundress she had been wearing, as it got a little chilly at night. California was funny that way. SHe expected it in New York, but California always suprised her with how could it could get in the evenings. Sav was sitting by the fire with some of her friends, laughing with Scarlett about something when she heard some commotion from the Ares campers. Of course it would be them, why wouldn't it be. [break][break]
She recognized the red head they were messing with and a frown crossed her lips. She was the girl with the visions, daughter of Apollo, somoene that the Romans took great stake in from what she understood. Though the Ares campers were getting a little out of hand. She excused herself from her friends as they shoved the girl and made her way towards them. As a cabin leader she had to be an example and make sure that they didn't make idiots out of themselves, not to mention it was rude as Hades. [break][break]
About to break it up, she was a little late as a blonde boy made his way over and tried to get them to stop. When they didn't she sighed and decided it was really time for her to intervene. Though her eyes grew wide when she saw what he was doing. " Noah, Noah stop, its ok. I'm ok." she heard the red head trying to ask him to stop whatever it was he was doing and she saw the ares camper gripping his chest just above his heart. " Hey! Hey that's enough, break it up!" some of the Ares campers scattered and she rolled her eyes before moving in closer. " Noah is it? What are you doing? St.." she heard him say don't make him do this and her eyes grew wide. [break][break]
Swallowing back her nerves she moved to stop it herself, grabbing the Ares campers arm she turned her brown eyes to Noah. " Please stop, you are hurting him." she could use charmspeak, but she didn't want to unless she had to, she hated to use that on people, so she didn't not yet anyway. "Please stop." she held her hands up to show him that she wasn't going to attack him or the red head, what was her name? She couldn't remember.
Noah rarely lost control, control over his powers, over himself. There had been more occasions in the past but he had steadily learned to keep it together. Nevertheless, a great outburst of emotions, fear he kept locked away deep inside of him, the stress caused by the arrival of the Greeks… it all came together. Ready to guide his hand towards the trigger.
Blue eyes, usually shining bright with kindness, had lost all their warmth as he stared at the Greek. His hand was still outstretched towards the boy, the muscles in his arm tense. He could feel the blood rushing through the boy’s veins, pumping through the heart he was holding on to tight.
Badum. Badum. Badum.
The sound of life. A life that could be easily ended with just one tiny squeeze.
The blond had already drowned out all the background noise, all the voices, gasps, and pleads for him to stop. All he could hear right now was the blood rushing through his ears and the whimper of the boy in front of him. This could have all been avoided if he had listened to the centurion. Sure, Noah didn’t mean for this to happen, for it to escalate so quickly. Something ought to happen but it wasn’t supposed to be this. He could feel the guilt slowly forming like a heavy lump inside his own chest, begging him to stop before it’s too late. But they didn’t stop when he asked them nicely, did they?
A voice managed to make it through him, although he couldn’t hear her clearly. Her voice was muffled as if he was standing in the middle of a waterfall - a never-ending rush of water, drowning him, keeping him under, not wanting to let go. "They didn’t listen when I told them to stop. What makes you think I will?" His face contorted into a cruel scowl, eyebrows raised in an inquisitive manner. "I’m just returning the favor," he said, though, there was a small crack in his voice towards the end of the sentence.
Noah was just about to take another step forward when a brunette slid in front of his sight. He stopped, faltering slightly, losing focus on the boy and releasing the pressure on his heart. Blue eyes were seeking the individual that blocked part of his view, taking a shuddering breath. Upon releasing the pressure on the heart he held so tightly in his fist the tension in his body gave in a little, forcing it to shake uncontrollably.
The son of Apollo’s eyes regained some of their warmth for a brief moment and for a second he thought he was actually able to recover control… if only it was this easy. Control had slipped out of his grip, entirely out of reach. All he could do was to watch it fall away, terror and dread taking over.
"No-" he stammered, his outstretched hand shaking. His eyes darted back and forth between the girl and the guy. He tried looking for Kade, for the splotch of red, but his entire vision had tunneled and was tinted a dark scarlet. He hoped she left, not wanting her to witness his failure over himself, and hoping she was looking for someone who could help. "I can’t…" the centurion said, lips quivering as he spoke.
As if a flip was switched he moved his arm to where the brunette was standing, flipping it over, scarred palms facing skyward. She was so close. The wild beating of the boy’s heart was replaced by a more steady rhythm, though there were soft inconsistencies here and there. His own heart felt as if it was about to jump through his ribcage, slamming aggressively against his chest. The steady rhythm of hers was the only thing keeping him standing, keeping him from bursting his own into pudding.
Desperate eyes locked on hers. He didn’t want this. But he couldn’t stop it either. "Please," he breathed, "You have to make me stop. I can’t-"
The glimmer of metal flickered in his peripheral view and without thinking his other hand shot out, slender fingers curling around the blade. His arms were crossed over another in the shape of an x. The impact of the blade wasn’t too hard for fear of accidentally hurting the one in front of him he guessed. Unfortunately for them, it didn’t help to stop him either. Noah barely felt the burn of his palm, the wetness that came with the blood dripping from the small wound. His eyes had never left hers, silently pleading for her to either get out of his way or for her, anyone, to end this.
Under normal circumstances, Savannah was not a fan of the children of Ares. On principle, they just annoyed her with their bravado and belief that they were better than most others just because they tended to be a little on the stronger side in battle. Though truth be told, with just a little bit of charmspeak on her end, they could turn tail and run. She might look like she was delicate, but in the end, she could hold her own if she had to. Though the Ares campers never seemed to think that of the Aphrodite kids, Hades, most of the campers though they were just vain and stuck up. Savannah tried not to be one of those stereotypes. So, here she was, intervening on behalf of an Ares kid just to keep from more trouble springing up later.
They had to deal with the Romans not wanting them in their camp as it was, and here they were making trouble with the Romans for no reason. It was maddening and Savannah would have put an end to it had Noah not done something first. Thank the gods she had heard his name so it made reasoning with him at little easier, or so she thought. Taking a deep breath to steel her nerves she kept her eyes trained on his as he spoke. " Because you do not need to stoop to their level. You are doing this to help someone you care about right? Well, that already makes you the better man. You can back down from this, you don't have to be like them. They aren't worth it Noah." she could see it in his eyes, a darkness, a shadow of something that was clearly beneath the surface.
Savannah heard the Ares camper take a shuddering breath and she knew that for a moment he was free from the pain. The power Noah had was something she had only heard about in books, something that she didn't think actually existed. Yet here he was, and she was in awe of it. It was not a good power to have by any means, at least, not in polite company. Though on a battle field? She could see how it might be very useful. There was something in his eyes though, a pain, a need for it to not be happening and she knew she had to stop him, somehow.
" Yes you can. You are above this, you are better than this." she kept her hands up but then it was like his attention was fully switched to her. Crap. She quickly looked back at the other Ares campers, " Get him out of here..." she winced in pain as she felt the squeezing to her own heart, " NOW..." she gasped as they did what she asked, well, most of them, and took the boy towards the infirmary. Her eyes turned back to Noah, pleading with him to stop. " Noah Please..." she saw the glimmer of metal flashing and the injury blooming on his palm. With every ounce of power she had left in her she cried out with her charmspeak, " Everyone else back off, leave...Now..." she gasped in pain. Her eyes back on his.
She was feeling a little weak after that, but people were wandering off and that was what she needed, the less people around the more she could concentrate solely on Noah. Swallowing back the pain and nerves she reached out and took his hands in hers, not caring about the blood, not caring about anything but trying to get him to focus on her. " Noah, you have to stop, you are hurting me.." her power was weaker after using so much to get everyone to leave, but it was what was needed, so that she could concentrate. " Noah, l...let...me go.." her eyelashes fluttered against the tops of her cheeks, trying not to think about the pain.
Noah couldn’t help the shaky laugh that made it past his lips. "No, they aren’t worth it," he acknowledged her words. "But I can’t back down from this. Not without help-" He couldn’t stop his body from shaking uncontrollably, no matter how often he tried. He was cold and hot at the same time. His blood should be boiling with rage but instead, it was cold, turning into a rush of ice. A feeling so cold it hurt from the inside out. Not sure if it was entirely a mental thing or a side effect of his powers, he tried to take a deep breath and another one. It was all he could do.
Needless to say, he felt absolutely helpless. He noticed silhouettes disappearing from his peripheral view, the sound of multiple booted feet shuffling away. The boy that was being shielded by her was picked up and carried away, or dragged away really, by his companions. Well, if this wasn’t a great first impression. Noah had lost focus by the departure of everyone around them. Astonished, that they all listened to her without complaining. He wondered, if even for just a moment, how she managed to do that. Because maybe if only she had arrived sooner or he had held back a little longer, this could have all been avoided. But it was too late now anyway. There was no going back or taking back, even if he wanted to.
How am I any better? He thought to himself, a torturing thought that he surely would keep thinking after today’s events. They may have started bullying his sister but he was the one on the verge of hurting others, no, he already was hurting them. Including the brunette in front of him. His palm stung where he had cut himself on the blade that tried to separate him from them. He was surprised by her action, her taking the bloody hand into hers, as well as the one he used to channel his gift. Holding the tension and his grasp on her heart despite the contact, he directed his gaze downward. Electric blue eyes narrowing slightly in sheer concentration.
He wasn’t trying to hurt her even more, he was trying to will himself to stop. Something stirred inside his mind, something foreign. It wasn’t supposed to be there, feeling as if someone was trying to intrude his mind and meddle with his thoughts.
'… you are hurting me…'
For some reason her words stung, a pain so great as if he was getting stabbed in his own heart. His eyes widened in surprise and shock, astonished by the power behind those four words. He grimaced, squinting and narrowing those blue orbs at her. Astonished, confused, surprised, shocked, baffled. Noah felt his grip loosen, her heart suddenly becoming as slippery as soap. Holding on to it had become a challenge because it tried to wiggle itself free. He wanted to respond but his lips wouldn’t move. There were no words coming out of his own mouth. I want to but I can't-
'… l… let… me go…'
As if someone had cut a rope that was bound between the two of them he staggered back, gasping in bewilderment. Immediately he let go of her hands, pushing himself further away. His legs gave up, not having the strength needed to hold the boy up anymore. He stumbled, tripped, and fell. Taking a deep breath as if he had been holding his own the whole time he dug his fingers into the ground underneath him.
Fatigue and exhaustion instantly took over, grabbing and pulling him towards them in an alluring duet. Calling for him like a delicate sonata, harmonizing in unison, a peaceful melody he ought to listen to. Somehow, he found his gaze wandering up and back towards the girl. The sight of her made him gasp once more before he scrambled back. Closing his eyes to avoid looking at her he swallowed hard before barely finding the strength needed to pull himself up, so he did, and failed.
Down on his knees, he punched at the ground, dirt covering his knuckles. A tearless sob escaped his lips. "I-," he began, unsure of what to say, of what he should say. He was feeling terribly sorry and guilty for everything that happened. "I… I’m sorry," he breathed, gasping for air. "I… this… I shouldn’t have…" A variety of thoughts were sluggishly moving around in his head as he tried to find the right words, although he didn’t know what else he could say to mend the situation other than apologizing an immense amount of times.
The blond took another shuddering breath, his entire frame still shaking, drowning out the noise of blood rushing through his head as it still dominated over all the other sounds. Blinking rapidly to clear his sight, eyes most likely bloodshot by now and red around the lid, he looked up, attempting to meet her gaze despite the shame he felt. "I didn’t mean to hurt you. I… you should probably go to the infirmary. I’m so, so awfully sorry." Despite the nonstop trembling he shook his head, a weak hand reaching up to his nose as he felt the blood dripping down, one by one until it formed a path down to his lips. Was he supposed to laugh? Cry? No, he felt like screaming, feeling so angry at himself. He couldn't even blame the Greek kids because even if they started this, it wasn't their fault the son of Apollo lost control.
The sound of his trembling laughter almost made her blood run cold. Though she understood what he meant. They were of the same mind set, that they were not worth it. He needed help, and Savannah was going to do all that she could in order to do just that. " I will help you, as much as I possibly can, you just need to let me." she kept her eyes trained on his, hoping that he understood that she was here for him. Savannah had lost so much that she didn't really mind putting herself in harms way if it meant helping others. Most wouldn't believe it of her, thinking she was one of those air heads with her head in the clouds, but she wasn't. She was a caring girl, who just wanted what was best for the people around her, and if she could help with that, she was going to.
The others had started to leave and she felt like she could let out a small breath of relief, at least now he could concentrate solely on her, and she on him. It was not a good feeling, that tightness in her chest, the feeling that he was going to crush her heart into a powder at any second. She swallowed hard, thinking maybe it could help take away a little of the pain, but instead she only felt like she was choking.
Her hands grasped his and she tried to ignore the pain in her chest, her eyes watching his every move, she noticed his blue ones looking down at their joined hands. Perhaps a little surprised that she would do this, touch him, after all that they were dealing with at the moment. Though in her eyes, this was the way she was going to at least get his attention. Get it off of her heart, make him focus somewhere else, even for a moment. Get in that moments hesitation, that need to keep his focus elsewhere. She could only hope that it would work. She didn't too much fancy dying there and then.
His eyes met hers, and she felt the grip slowly loosen on her. She gasped, trying to catch her breath and pray to any of the goes that might be listening that he would just let it all go. Though she was not one to hold on to false hope. If he wanted, she knew that he could have crushed her by now. It was a scary concept, but she also was not holding it against him. Not having control on a power that you have, a gift as the gods saw it, was not at all uncommon, and she would not hold it against him. She had lost control several times over the years herself, so she knew how it felt. THough she couldn't imagine being in his shoes, knowing how easily he could have killed her.
He pulled his hands away from her and practically tripped over his own feet, falling to the ground a few feet from her. " Noah...take it easy.." she groaned the words out and watched him as he stumbled a bit. Then he was punching the ground after their eyes met and she felt awful for him. Her heart was breaking just seeing him beat himself up like this. " Hey...hey don't do that. I'm alright. you stopped." she took a single step towards him but stopped, letting him get out his frustrations. Tears fell down her cheeks as she saw how much he was hurting, she hated seeing anyone in pain, and it was clear that Noah was really beating himself up, hurting so badly over what he had done.
Seeing him shaking that way, looking like he was going to fall apart at any moment she shook her head, her eyes on his. " Noah, deep breaths..." blood started to drop from his nose and her eyes grew wide and she moved as quickly as her body would allow her to with the strength having drained from her and grabbed her bag from where she had left it. Daughter of Aphrodite, of course she had her purse with her at all times. Opening it, she pulled out a little pack of tissues and moved to kneel beside him. " I will be alright, I promise I'll go but, for now let's take care of you ok?" she kept her eyes trained on his for a moment before dabbing at the blood with the tissue and then handing him the whole pack. " I'll stay with you until you can move and then we will both go to the infirmary."
[attr="class","THREAD1CONTENT"] Sometimes, when the rare event occurred of Noah using his powers and he held someone’s heart inside his fist, feeling the blood pump through it as it desperately tried to fight against the struggle, he felt as if that person’s desperate will to live… their strength, was merging with his own. Even if he didn’t and never would, admit it, it made him feel more powerful than usual. However, outside of using his cursed ability, he hated thinking of it that way. He didn’t want anyone else’s strength even if he needed it. He didn’t want to rely on or benefit from other people’s misfortune.
His ears barely caught the words she spoke to him. He barely even heard himself speak yet he felt his lips move. But he saw her tears as they welled inside her eyes and then started flowing freely down her cheeks. He was horrified by the sight of it. As if it wasn’t bad enough that she was crying because of him - he made a woman cry - but she was crying because he had hurt her and even if she didn’t show it, he knew. He felt it. He didn't deserve her kind and soft-spoken words. He didn't deserve her help. A victim would never help their killer, would they? The blond stifled another tearless sob, breathing out slowly. No words could ever explain how sorry he was.
Once the initial rush of adrenaline was over the exertion that followed using his powers, be it partly or fully, in this case, it was just party, exhaustion immediately took over. With grabby hands, it welcomed the son of Apollo into its embrace. Noah’s vision slowly started to darken around the edges and when he tripped and fell to the ground the earth assisted in trapping him into Hypnos’ realm. Noah fought it off as much as he could, curling his hands into fists and digging crescents into the skin of his palms.
His body’s nonstop trembling drained him off even more energy, his reserves gradually melting away. It had been months since the last time he felt this tired, guilty, and bad. No matter how often he apologized and told her how awful he felt about it all, it didn’t feel as if it would ever be enough. Maybe in the future. Would it be though? Would a single apology justify his actions? Would it make him feel better?
Tissues. Noah cracked a smile at the sight of the small bundle of simple tissues wrapped in plastic. It was such a mundane thing he did not expect. "I think my humor is broken. I don’t know why a pack of tissues is funny to me." But he was grateful for those and for her because he was quite sure that if anyone else had been in her situation the whole incident wouldn’t have ended as amicably as it did. "Thanks," he said with a choked laugh, taking the pack of tissues from her hands. All the finesse he usually displayed with his hands, all thanks to bandaging wounds every day, had left him, so instead of pulling out just one single tissue he ended up with half the pack in his lap. Disappointed eyes looked at the fallen tissues, a defeated sigh following shortly after despite leaving his lips rather soundlessly.
Savannah told him to take it easy. He knew that. He should know that, was supposed to know that. As a healer at camp he was the one running after thickheaded demigods telling them exactly the same: take it easy. He remained on his knees for a little longer, trying to take steady breaths while pressing two tissues against his nose to stop the bleeding. "I think,-" he began, taking a break. Even speaking was getting more difficult as time passed. Taking a deep but uneven breath Noah sat back, stretching his legs in front of him. It wasn’t a good idea. As if invited by him, exhaustion hit him in the gut and he flopped back onto his back, hand holding the tissues in place. "I’ll need a while until I can move myself to the Infirmary."
He wondered if he had enough juice left to use his powers once more to calm himself down, to steady his heartbeat into a normal rhythm, to slow his pulse, to stop the dizziness. Suddenly, the hard ground wasn’t as uncomfortable as it initially was. But he couldn’t feel the pebbles and stones digging into his back. In fact, he couldn’t feel much. Almost his entire body felt numb be it either from the fatigue or the shame. Though, wouldn’t it make more sense to feel more pain in that case?
It took a lot of willpower to keep his eyes open, let alone move his arm but yet he found the strength to fish out something wrapped in parchment paper out of a pocket. Rolling his head softly to the side he glanced at the brunette, offering nothing more than the phantom of a smile and holding out the item to her. "Emergency ambrosia. Take it. It's the least I can do. Trading for the tissues." Noah was astonished by himself, if only a little, that he could still keep his humor despite the lack of... everything. "You know this entire time I've been wondering... how?" he asked her. A simple question, yet the answer wouldn’t be as simple as he supposed. Noah squeezed his eyes shut for a brief moment, dragging a tired arm to rest against his forehead. "How did you stop me?"
Most people in her situation likely would have run for it the moment he told them to. Though Savannah was not most people. She could be extremely stubborn and always wanted the best for those around her. She was not the type of girl that would just stand by and let someone be in pain, no, she was the one that would be there beside them, holding them, keeping them together if she had to. It was just in her mindset these days. No one deserved to be hurting for something that they had not meant to do. Noah clearly had a very kind heart, and it hurt her to see him like this. She might have been in pain, might have felt extremely weakened by what she had endured, but that did not keep her from being there, from trying to help him as best she could.
Sav gave him a weak smile as he laughed about the tissues and she shook her head, " I can see how it is something silly that most people wouldn't expect in a demigod camp. Daughter of Aphrodite, sometimes I need tissues to make sure my makeup isn't running down my face you know?" she laughed a little and kept up what she was doing, cleaning his face up as best she could. It was what any one would do. Well, what anyone should do. Though he thought it was funny she shrugged, " your welcome." he had tried to pull a couple of tissues and instead ended up with a lap full. She was careful as she helped him pick them up, careful not to do something embarassing. Folding them up she set them back on top of the pack and stayed beside him as he adjusted to a more comfortable position.
" well, take all the time you need, because I am not leaving you, and I surely don't see myself going very far right now either." she admitted softly, her eyes on his for a moment. " Really, I'm not going anywhere." she meant it too. No way was she goign to leave him alone there by the fire that had been abandoned by everyone else. They were just going to hold out and rest together until they could stumble their way back. She was fine with that too. He had flopped back onto the ground and she chewed on her lip for a moment before pulling her hoodie off and folding it up so it would work better as a pillow for him. She carefully slipped it under his head, helping him move as much as he needed. " There, that should be a little more comfortable than a bunch of rocks under your head."
He was digging in his pocket and Savannah raised her eyebrows as he pulled out the parchment paper and a small little square of ambrosia. " Noah, I think you need that more than I do." she took it from him to make him happy but she didn't eat it yet, " Really, I think its better if you take this yourself, they can give me some at the infirmary later. I'll be ok, but we need to get your on your feet first." she unwrapped it from the paper carefully. She was very hesitant to use it on herself, thinking it would be much better for him.
Savannah bit her lip at his question, " Oh um...well." she took a deep breath, " When I grabbed your hands it was to get your attention fully on me, because if I concentrated enough on it, I could get you to stop by just telling you to." she sighed, " My gift from my mother is Charm Speak. So, I put all the power I could muster behind telling you to stop. I don't like to use it, I really don't, but in this situation I felt like it was called for. I am sorry for that, I mean, I don't always have control over whether or not it slips out, but, I had to with you. Forgive me?
