Standing in a line with the other kids of Hephaestus, squinting at the bright morning sun whilst straining to listen to whatever this roman blonde was saying, there was only one thought on Simone's mind. What the Hades was she doing awake? It couldn't have been past 10am, so there was no way in the world she'd have woken up on her own terms. Her memories of the morning were as foggy as the morning mists that still swirled about the horizon of Camp Jupiter - she could vaguely recall a loud yelling and one of her younger half-brothers half-dragging, half-pulling her out of bed. Was she even dressed? A quick glance confirmed that no she was not, as her only protection against the sunrise chill was a pair of pyjama shorts and a tanktop. Glancing over her shoulder, Simone quickly saw that the rest of her cabin were dressed the same; one poor soul was standing starkers with nothing but a pair of boxers to protect his modesty. One of the littler ones was wearing a dinosaur onesie, aw.
Rubbing at her face harshly to try and shove some consciousness into her brain, Simon frowned at the only voice she could hear speaking. She was vaguely familiar, and Simone was pretty sure she was a big-shot with the romans, though she couldn't be sure - though she stood present as a cabin leader, the demigod did not pay attention to that introductory meeting between cabin and cohort leaders at all. Certainly a big-shot with someone, as the blonde girl had commanded enough order from her cabinmates to get them all out of their bunks and lined up outside. Without Simone's permission. Wow, rude. Wow, she was still talking.
Watching the dino-boy bob his head back and forth for a few seconds as he struggled to stay awake during the lecture, Simone let out a god awfully loud yawn, accompanied by stretching both arms over her head and a crack of her neck. Now that she was awake enough to understand that she was awake, she wanted to go back to bed. With a quick exhale, she rapidly started clapping her hands together, the tough skin sounding like a firecracker with each smack. One last slap and she spoke, now certain that all her cabin, and whoever else was present, had their attention on her.
"Bravo, and such. Okay everyone, you heard whatever it was she was saying. Now go back to the bed, for your own sanity. And mine." Simone interrupted the centurion without so much as a stammer, shooing her cabinmates back to bed like a tired mother. Almost grateful to be freed from the outside cold, the group practically clambered over each other to get back inside. Apart from dino-boy who had fallen asleep standing up. Thankfully, Simone given a slight twist of his shoulders and a light shove to the back woke him up enough for him to scamper after his half-siblings. Simone watched after them until they had all gotten back inside, before walking up to the centurion, rubbing her own neck with a slight wince; it was sore, probably from falling asleep on her desk again.
"Whatever that chatter was, can't it wait until we actually wake up?" Simone asked, giving another huge yawn without bothering to cover her mouth. Hopefully if she spoke to this girl, then this kind of awakening wouldn't happen again. Besides, now that Simone was up, it would be a near impossible challenge to get back asleep again.
