[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
Eli is a pretty friendly guy. He tends to be very talkative, loves to make people laugh, and goes out of his way to try and be friends with anyone he can. If someone isn't smiling, you can bet he'll go over and try to brighten their day. Even if it seems impossible, he'll try and find a way to make it work.[break][break]
He's not a fighter at all, and if he's honest with you, he has no idea how he was able to pass the Wolf House. It's in his nature to not want to fight, and he knows that it makes him weak in some of the other demigod's eyes. In a world where the strongest survive, there's no room for peace and sadly, Elijah found himself in the unlucky position of being a child of mercy.[break][break]
If you need a friend, Eli is your guy, but if you need to call upon someone to back you up in a fight, he should be the last person on your list. He can't really wield a sword or bow, and honestly, he'll probably cry if you made him try and hurt someone else.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
At Camp for: 9 years // Claimed[break]
TW: Implied/Referenced abuse[break][break]
How his father managed to catch the attention of a goddess, that of mercy no less, Elijah would never know. Maybe once Jeremiah Deonisia was a caring man, but all Elijah saw when he looked at him was a monster. Truth be told, Elijah was just too young to remember the short period of time his father was a loving father. [break][break]
Jeremiah was a strict police father, but one who loved his son with his whole heart. There was a period where he wouldn’t have even dreamed of raising his hand to his him, but as all things in life, he changed. Eli had a guess as to what caused the change, seeing as he only started to get more aggressive with them when his stepmother was introduced. [break][break]
Kourtney was a vicious woman, but it seemed only to poor little Elijah. He’d find himself grounded for no reason and in trouble with his father more often than usual. There was no reason for what happened to him, only Kourtney seemed to be jealous of the attention Jeremiah was giving the then six-year-old. [break][break]
This continued for the next four years, only escalating in intensity with each passing day. The saw that broke the camel’s back and caused his mother to get involved was when Jeremiah finally raised a hand to the child for no reason. Elijah had just come home from school and wanted to show his dad a project he made. It was about his hero, who despite all that he put him through, was his father. [break][break]
All Jeremiah saw when he looked at the little construction paper project though was a mess. He yelled at the child for it being ‘poorly drawn’ and with Kourtney’s urging, he raised his hand to the boy. It shocked the both of them, and it seemed like Jeremiah was brought out of a trance when he realized what happened. [break][break]
Elijah was inconsolable though, and upon seeing what happened to her child, Clementia made a visit to the house. It was a shock for Jeremiah to see her again, but she was furious at what happened. She made it a point to state that he wasn’t the man that she met ten years ago anymore and was turning into some of the monsters he took in. [break][break]
The entire conversation took all of fifteen minutes and ended with Elijah packing his bags and being guided towards the Wolf House where his new life would start. It was one terrifying ordeal right after another, but by the grace of whatever was watching over him, he made it through the training and was officially brought into Camp Jupiter. [break][break]
Life there was much more different than he was used to. It took some getting used to, but he fumbled his way through trainings and kept himself upright through all the years he’s spent there. While he still isn’t the biggest fan of all the fighting and the strictness of the camp, he does see where they are coming from, and he even finds himself agreeing with it at times. [break][break]

[ SALVATION ][break]
Like his mother, Elijah is able to provide salvation to him and others. By either touching the ground or holding a small object like a rock or a marble and whispering a small prayer for his mother, Elijah blesses a five-foot radius around him, Anything that wishes to cause harm to him or anything within the circle simply cannot pass through. If someone has harmful or evil intentions, they'll find that they cannot get through to Eli.[break][break]
The strength of this power is determined by how much concentration he put into the actual blessing, and the circle only stays for as long as Eli is in it and concentrating on it. Using this power continuously and consistently for hours on end will drain him and cause him to become exhausted rather easily.[break][break]
[ THREAT REDUCTION ][break]
This power is a mostly passive for Elijah. Being a child of Clementia means he isn't a fighter, and what this power does is two things. One, it makes it so he's overlooked in combat and seen as not a threat, while in combat people tend to go for others before him, but that doesn't always mean he's safe in combat. Some people may still come after him, which would lead to him having to fight them much against his wishes.[break][break]
The second thing it does is, in order to keep peace going and people happy, it calms people down who stand near him. People standing within five feet of Eli will suddenly find themselves feeling relaxed and all agitation or irritation they felt before suddenly vanishes. Once again, the effectiveness of this power depends on the character. One with a higher willpower might be able to fight the effects of it and get through it. Combined with the other aspect of this power and salvation, Eli's powers mainly consist of things to keep him safe and out of combat.
