Yes. You read that right. Greece has fallen...or at least the camp that has catered to Greek demigods for over three millennia has fallen. Camp Half-Blood had a traitor in their midst. A traitor with powerful allies who quickly burned the camp to the ground. Some were lost, some killed, and the rest who remained began the long trek across the country to the only place where they might be safe: Camp Jupiter.
Chiron banded what campers they had left, told them of the other camp and sent word to Camp Jupiter pleading for shelter. Chaos now threatens the camp daily with the arrival of new Greek campers to this foreign camp. This camp with strange customs and rules. While on the Roman end the Praetors are forced to hold up a balancing act of providing sanctuary while also trying to find the traitor before their home suffers the same fate as Camp Half-Blood.
New alliances are forged, new enemies are made, and these two worlds have to find some way to work together for the future of them all. Which side are you on? Which position will you take? It's time to jump in the fray because Greece has fallen.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Camp Half-Blood may be gone but that didn't stop Alex from doing training. The environment and location may be different but that was just another part of the training. He was a stranger in a strange land, Hades he was a stranger in his own land. As distant as he has been from everyone he might as well been an outsider. He never attempted to make any friends before and any attempts of befriending him were almost always met aggressively. He was an a-hole to the core, he had no one to blame but himself. Even if he wanted to blame his father for filling his head with dreams of grandeur in being the "perfect warrior" as he worded it. That was what Alex's driving force had always been, to be the greatest fighter, have the most kills, be the toughest son of a Hellhoundess this side of Olympus.
Only when the greatest battle to ever be waged happened, his father blessed his brother who Alex had never seen eye to eye with. Yeah, the guy could fight but not like Alex, but he could lead better than anyone Alex knew. So there was a silent understanding that he would lead and just point Alex where he needed to go do the most damage. It played to both their strengths without causing them to have to really deal with each other otherwise. That was just it though, father chose him to bless, something that will never sit well with Alex. But it also made him think long and hard about why it wasn't him and it all came back around to all the things Alex didn't bother with. Friends, caring, working together, fighting for anyone other than himself. These were the hardest truths to admit and even harder to accept.
Alex knew what he needed to do but he lacked the ability to start down that path. He couldn't blame anyone for not giving him a chance either after how he's always treated everyone. He already was off the a great start with the Roman's too so probably lost out with them as well. He settled on if something was going to change it needed to be how he presented himself and how he reacted towards others. In time that would hopefully open up enough eyes to see that he was changing, just hopefully for the better.
As he stood in the center of the training room for going on his 2nd hour now, he was wearing gray sweatpants, a black tank top, and some sneakers. He was holding his enchanted rod from his father and shifted it into a double tipped spear and began spinning it around him like a bo staff. Sweat dripping off his face and down his arms, chest, and back as he performed moves with the weapon and just worked on something rather routine while he put more attention into what he was thinking about.
Davina had been in camp for four years now and she had kept the same routine every time. Of course the routine had consisted of training especially when she had trained for a year before even being able to come to camp. She had changed into some comfy black sweatpants with a purple and pink tye dye shirt crop top. She had no need for armor at the moment and if she needed to she could put on the armor over her clothes with ease. She intended on only fighting by herself so it was ok to wear what she wanted. Her two daggers that she had for a little over three years now she had one in each of her hands both identical to the other. The silver blade shined in the light whenever the light caught the blade.
After walking over to the training area she had not expected to find anyone over there. She came at the same time almost everyday and had never ran into the issue of the area already being used. When she saw the male she watched him for a moment watching his fighting skills which made her smile. She had heard of this person ever since he had arrived into Camp Jupiter, son of Ares and one who was known for his fighting skill. She didn't believe any of it until he was now in front of her training. The skills he used were nothing that she had seen before and that was coming from someone who had trained almost everyday and it came at a second nature to her.
Davina moved a bit closer to where he was but was sure to keep her distance, "Well isn't the person everyone has spoken about. I would have never believed them until I seen it with my own eyes and well I definitely believe them" she said with a small smirk on her face. She bit her lip ever so slightly and took a few more steps towards him and then once she was close enough she circled him a few times as if trying to catch a prey, but she was only trying to take a look at this person almost out of curiosity.
Alex wasn't expecting anyone, he hadn't even heard her walk in, so when she spoke he snapped and whipped around to face her with his spear at the ready. Though seeing a good looking blonde standing there and looking him over made him relax and stand upright. The spear in his hand shifting back into the celestial bronze rod he always carried. "So I'm already the talk of the camp huh? Can only imagine what they've got to say about me." He said while rolling his eyes.
He watched her slowly come closer to him and he raised an eyebrow as she bit her lip. "What?" He asked before she started circling him.the way that she was looking at him was a little annoying but the look in her eyes made him curious as well. Folding his arms across his chest he started looking her over as well while turning so that he could follow her now as she circled him. "Well, see anything you like?" He asked with a rather arrogant tone.
He honestly wasn't used to a total stranger just talking to him like this, let alone it being a Roman. Or being circled like this and checked out the way she was looking at him. He was still trying to figure out how to feel about both these things going on. This was the first time a Roman and he weren't just butting heads from the start. Though it was still too soon to tell if they was out of the realm of possibility.
Davina finally stopped circling the male after he had finally took notice of her. When he had pulled the spear at ready she was far from scared and it wasn't the first time she had a spear or even a sword aimed at her. She watched as he put the spear away and moved both her daggers to one hand so she had a free one. "Well I guess that is to be expected. I mean your new to this place and I can't say all are bad at least. But what to do their opinions mean anyway" she stated with a smile. Her eyes remained on the male and she had seen him from every angle and she could tell even with the clothes that he had wore that he was well built. She had assumed that it had been do to the fact that he trained.
The female shook her head slightly her hair moving with the movement of her head slowly. She moved her free hand to the strand of lose hair and pushed it back slightly. "Well, I guess I can't lie can I. I mean there is a lot I like for sure. And who can really deny the fact that they don't like a guy with muscle" she stated calmly.
Davina was known for her flirtatious comments, and she only hoped that her eyeing him down was something that she used a lot when it came to guys. This was only the start of what she hoped would be an interesting conversation. This was the first Greek that she had actually walked up to start up a conversation so she had no idea how exactly he would react. Not many people rejected her especially since she was the daughter of Venus who was known for beauty and love. She had managed to obtain some of that power and she was afraid to show it off. She would have stepped closer but she was unsure to how the male would react so she had waited for him to make the next move or at least allow her to step closer.
He listened to her response about being the talk of the camp and he had to say he wasn't expecting that response. He shifted and gave a few subtle nods in agreement with her, "Yeah, can't disagree with you there, not really concerned with anyone's opinion of me." he said and continued looking at her and listening.
When she said she liked a few things and commented about liking a guy with muscles he smirked and waited until she stopped. He waited to see if she did anything but she didn't, so he would do what she didn't and he stepped closer to her. Unsure just how close she was wanting but assuming she would just move if he got too close, he walked right over to where she was so that they were now face to face. He tilted his head sideways and his eyes were locked on hers but then he checked her out similarly to how she was just looking at him. "The feeling is very, very mutual sweetheart." he said while biting his bottom lip.
His eyes looked back up at her and he shifted again while giving her a smirk. "Surprised a hot little Roman like you would even be interested in a Greek brute like me. You want some then come get some, I don't bite, unless you ask me to." he said and then gave her a wink. Maybe it was bold of him to assume that's what she even wanted. He'd soon find out.
Davina listened to him speak for a moment and was only a little surprised when he said that he couldn't disagree with not caring about others opinion. She knew that many people didn't care and she wasn't to care for others opinions either especially since she was sure some had some. She watched him as he took a step closer to her she remained where she was just watching him. She had to admit to herself that he was someone she wouldn't mind getting close to.
When he mentioned the feeling was mutual she smirked softly watching as he moved closer to her, "Oh really? If I may ask what is it that you like? I mean there has to be something I'm assuming or you still wouldn't be here" she said with a smile.Even as they were face to face she looked up at him, she was thinking of so many way that she could just get close to him, and it didn't seem he wanted to move away from her and instead did the exact opposite.
"Well maybe I was curious. Maybe I just wanted to be up for something else. Besides someone new is always bound to leave people curious." she said softly moving closer to him so now they now had little to no space between them. She moved her hand to move across his arm slightly curious to how he would react to her touch. She could help but feel a little something that was bound to keep this going at some point. She highly doubted that it would go any farther than a fling or even a hook-up but she didn't care.
"I don't bite either. And I'm willing to take the chance if you so wish. Cause I know I'm willing to if you are" she said biting her lower lip slightly.
Since first arriving at Camp Jupiter, Alex was at a crossroads, on the much easier hand, he could just ignore everyone and continue treating them how he'd always treated his fellow Greeks. Continue being the savage warrior with no friends that he made himself out to be. Or, the more difficult task of rebuilding himself in the way he thought he needed to be to earn the Blessing of Ares. He focused and dedicated himself to becoming the "perfect warrior", he just wasn't the perfect warrior based on what he'd witnessed.
He chose to meet in the middle of both hands, he wasn't just going to suddenly start smiling like an idiot and showing up everywhere trying to act friendly. God, just the thought of that made him groan and a little sick. He just wasn't going to stay how he'd always been, if someone approached him then he would be more open to socializing back with them. This girl happened to be one of the first of those opportunities to socialize, as an added bonus she was hot and a flirt. He watched her as he moved closer and she wasn't moving away. His face didn't show it but inwardly he was actually feeling a little warmth and grateful that she wasn't moving away. This was new and different and for once he wasn't complaining about that.
She asked him what he liked of her and he looked down again at her, then mimicking her from before he started to circle her and look her over even more. "Well let's see, your eyes, they look with a purpose and you know what you want. Your legs look pretty nice in those tight sweats too, would love a closer look though. And I'm not too familiar with your pantheon but I'm willing to say you have some relation to Aphrodite with a face like yours." he explained to her. By the time he finished explaining all that to her he was standing in front of her again and still as close as they were a moment ago.
She said she was curious and up for something new, that new people made others curious, well she was the first to come looking so something was new that was for sure. "Yeah? Have I sated your curiosity or are you still wanting more?" he asked playfully with a glint of lust in his eyes as he looked back at her. She closed what little distance there still was between them and when her hand laid on his arm he side glanced at it before smirking and unfolded his arms and put an arm around her and rested his hand on her rear before pulling her up against him. Their bodies now pressed together left her with no misconception about what was hiding beneath his clothes. His gaze softened but he still had that lustful flirty look in his eyes, he leaned down until the tip of his nose was touching the tip of hers and she could feel his breath against her lips and vice versa. "Oh sweetheart I'm always willing." he said before giving her rear a firm squeeze and then pressed his lips against hers in an aggressive and hungry kiss.
Davina took a moment to think while she watched the male closely. There was something about him that stood out from the rest of the people that she had flirted with in the past. She didn't know if it was because this person was not from Camp Jupiter and new to this place or there was something else about him that made her wonder even more. But whatever it was she was ready to learn more about this person and get to actually know the person underneath the brute.
When he went on about what he had liked about her she watched as he did exactly what she had done to him moments later of circling her like she was the prey now. she smiled softly biting her lip ever so slightly keeping eye contact with him all the way up till he stood in front of her once more. She hummed for a moment, "Well that us a lot of things you like. And I am the daughter of Venus, who is the goddess of love and beauty. " she explained softly.
"You have a way with words thats for sure. And I would say that you sated my curiosity but I would be lying to myself and you. I believe I just got more curious. And that would mean that I would love to see more if I can" she said softly. She could see the lust in his eyes and it made her want to test the waters even more then she had already been doing. This was no simple matter and she wasn't going to take it simple either if this male allowed her more. Before she knew it she felt his arm wrap around her body until she felt his hand on her rear and she was now against his body completely. There was no mistaken the closeness between the two now. She locked eyes with him as he leaned in his nose against her own and then his lips were on hers. She kissed him back with ease only pulling away for a slight minute.
"This probably isn't the best of place to stay unless we want to be seen by people walking by" she said softly with a smile on her face as she looked up at him her eyes locked with his. "I know the perfect place. We could go to the lake since there is a secluded area that I know of" she said softly running her hand down his arm to his hand and led him towards the lake with a smirk on her face. "I never did get your name" she said.
